Kid dream come true! Ive always wanted to visit D.C just to come to this museum. It did not let down!The flow was not super intuitive so it took a minute to figure out how I wanted to walk through the exhibits. With plan hand, I made lift off and retracted the landing gear for a 3 hour trip through the history of aviation!As with many other people, the Blackbird was awesome. I found it smaller than I expected though. Space exhibits were also very cool and nostalgic. The really neat ones were the old ones giving a head nod to the origin of man taking flight. Replicas from that Era were impressive! Now if you want to get a real sense of power (weaponry and industrial) check out the World War II section ... it is awe inspiring.

Super cool! 5 stars for sure! Its maybe a little dark in there bit wasnt too crowded, loads of information to be read. Live vidcon volunteers extremely knowledgeable available to answer questions. Way cooler than I was expecting. Will certainly be back!

Great, open space museum with lots of aircrafts ( a few renovations going on at the moment but still lots to see). The museum is free but you pay for parking, FYI.

You guys should see all these cool planes especially the Enola Gay. Its an amazing place.

Its the same style of shop as all Smithsonian museums. Youve seen one and you know what the rest look like. But having said that, youre here for the special stuff, and its there.I picked up a grey Smithsonian logos fleece XL jacket for $36. And it is really nice. Im kinda living in it now that the WX in Philly has gone towards the chilly side.Other than that, lots of kids stuff, and a wall of aviation history books to choose from.You dont go to the Udvar-Hazy facility for the gift shop, but its pretty decent.

Better experience than the DC air and space museum

This place was awesome for all ages. Not sure why is does not have a ton of ratings or a better Google page?? Anyway if you are close to this place. It is a must check out. I had taken some awesome photos that I will add asap. Getting a chance to see the space shuttle in person is worth the trip.

Very small and poor selection. The entire area is under construction so it makes sense I definitely hope to raise my score for the next visit

This place is fantastic! Theres so much to see and learn. If youre a fan of space and flight, you need at least a good 4 hours to tour the museum.

I was not actually able to go here though my Timeline insists I did. The line to get in was too long and I did not have time to wait. The store looked like it had neat things.

Gift shop had a really long line but thats the only problem I had. Otherwise its super interesting and full of cool artifacts and history!

Unfortunately due to roof repairs half the exhibition was unavailable and the Imax as well.

A small gift shop on the corner of the museum and it didnt have many items to brag, but I still found some souvenirs.

My son loves coming here to see all the airplanes and rockets. Everytime we visit we find something new and exciting that we missed the time before. Their gift shop is also reasonably priced and has a large collection of yours, apparels, and gifts.Make sure to check out the discovery space shuttle and the SR 117 blackbird.

There was a line out the door and not even a quarter of the merchandise as before.

Little store with customer flow in place. Lots of hand sanitizer.

There are not so many things to buy and some price tags are messed up, however the staff is very friendly and helpful.
