My phone was got denied for replacement of broken LCD due to the reason that it was an international phone. When I brought it to the TCR shop they did not hesitate to accept my phone. Cracked the screen of my Google Pixel 4XL phone. Stopped by the Chapel Hill location and I just dropped off my phone off when parts came in and in 2 hour time frame, I was able to pick up my phone fully repaired and looking brand new! I think the time frame is a lot shorter if you dont have an Android. Was only $199..paid half up front. Very fast and professional and phone looks great.

A second time TCR has rescued my phone. The first time I had the battery replaced and the screen replaced. This time it was run over by a car. I thought the screen was shattered. I brought it in for a screen replacement and the technician found that only my screen protector, which was installed by TCR the last time I brought my phone in, was damaged! So he installed a new screen protector - and now my old iPhone 6s, is, once again, new! He was very professional, responsive and Im so happy I didnt have to buy a new phone, or even a replacement screen - clearly I wouldnt have known the difference and I appreciate his honesty about it.

I went there during COVID19. I appreciated so much how I was met outside with the employee wearing a mask. Totally professional, safe, and respectful. They did exactly what they said they would do for exactly the price promised (very fair price) and in exactly the amount of time they said. I dropped my phone off, took a walk for 30 min, came back and there my phone was -perfectly fixed. Theres just no need to think about going anyplace else if I have trouble with my phone again.Honestly, I am going to cancel my cell phone insurance for my whole family because I know if something happens that I can get it fixed beautifully for a fair price. All those monthly insurance charges add up. Id rather just pay these folks if something happens- locally owned business, great people.

These guys are the absolute best. I have used them several times over the past few years for phone repairs and they are always able to get you in right away. James was very friendly, professional and proficient when fixing my cell phone. There was still a minor issue when I got the phone back (not from his negligence) and he immediately got to work on it again and fixed it. I would highly recommend TCR for anyone needing cell phone repairs.

The service itself was quick and competent. My only criticism is that it was hard to find out how they were handling COVID. The website doesn’t mention curbside or at least “meet-at-the-door” service (or at least I couldn’t find it). I asked if was available on the appointment form, by email, and by phone message and got no response. I took the chance that they did offer it and showed up at my appointment time. Fortunately they did take my phone at the door, but for those of us with risk factors it would be good to know this before making the drive.

My phone randomly stopped working recently and I brought it into TCR about an hour before they closed. James was awesome - he told me hed check it out within a half hour before they closed. When I came back he not only solved the issue but took the time to show me the inside of my phone and what he had repaired which I really appreciated. He was extremely friendly and took extra time out of his day (stayed 30 mins past closing) to explain things to me. Not only that, but the price was reasonable and he showed me the new parts he was replacing. This has been one of the best experiences Ive had at a phone repair shop. Thank you TCR and James!

Needed to replace the battery in my iPhone. They did it for the fraction of the cost that apple or a certified repair shop would. They even cleared out a bunch of dust that had built up in my headphone jack. 10/10 would recommend, made an appointment (24hrs) in advance and was out in 15 min. Support those local businesses and independent repair shops!

Super friendly service. Brought in a device that they had never seen before (Xiaomi Mi Pad 4) with a broken screen and a replacement LCD in hand. Great repair shop! They replaced the battery in my phone and did so in just a few minutes. I had bought the part beforehand, and the repair was very affordable. Excellent and friendly service!Update (about a year later): Today they replaced the battery in another phone for me. Like last time, Im very happy with their service: very reasonably priced, fast, and very friendly. If I have another issue with my cell phone in the future, I know where Ill take it to be fixed.

Ive never written a review before on google but this time i felt that this service deserved it. I went into the shop with a fully cracked front screen. they had a promotion that if you talked to them on messenger you got 10 dollars off. additionally they price match any other stores prices and beat it by 5 dollars. I found another place that did a screen repair for 50 dollars and i went to the store to see if they would match the price. The man who was at the store was super nice, price matched the other competitor, and gave me the 10 dollars off. He did the phone repair within 20 minutes and did a great job. Ive never been this happy with the service of any store and if you have any phone repair needs I would highly recommend this location.

My screen was shattered and James had it repaired in 45 minutes. An hour later my battery died and he insisted I bring it right back. I did and he replaced the battery in 5 minutes and I was good again. I couldn’t be happier with Mike’s friendliness and quality service. I recommend this place.

TCR was a real life saver. My phone wasnt working properly and I thought it would be really expensive to deal with. Plus everything was locked down due to COVID-19. But TCR fixed my problem quickly and cheaply. They also had very good COVID-19 precautions in place. I would highly recommend TCR to anyone and will definitely be using them again in the future!

Despite having an unusual phone James was able to quickly replace my battery (which I had already ordered and had on hand). They will diagnose problems on site and even order in parts if they dont have them on hand. Very friendly staff (I dealt with James) who are happy to answer any and all questions you might have. Also very reasonably priced! Definitely recommend!

My phone was going crazy opening things even trying to call 911 on it own. TCR did repairs and same issue came back about a week later. TCR then took the phone back made repairs at no additional cost and phone has been working great since. Glad to have it repaired.

Five stars!! My iPhone wasnt charging and I decided to stop by this store before heading to the sprint store. This same store fixed my iPhone screen the summer before and did a excellent job. They cleaned the port of lent and didnt even charge me!! Perfect customer service, very processional, and super fast. Five stars. So much easier to go here then to the Apple Store or sprint store. I highly recommend them. Plus I was able to park a block down the street. Super easy and convenient.

I was having issues with my charging port not connecting to the charging cord. I had used a toothpick to clean the port but nothing came out. I assumed that the port was bad. I stopped by and Mike cleanings the lint out of the port with very fine tweezers. Wow! There was a lot of lint. He did not charge me anything. Great guy and I highly recommend.

Went in thinking I needed a new battery and charging port and instead of just taking the extra $70 and replacing it, Jay inspected the port and cleaned out dirt and lint that had accumulated over the years and the port worked fine! Simply just needed a new battery. The service was quick and kind and painless. With no wait at all, it blows the hassle of the Apple Store out of the water.

This is one of the best phone repair places Ive been. They were very good at telling me everything they were gonna do and also gave me a good estimate before they commenced fixing my phone. You also get a student discount if you go there (only if youre a student of course). Overall great service and cheaper than Ive had at some places

I Dont want to the hateful guy But I brought my iPhone 8 plus in its was messed up and he fixed but he put the wrong type of screen on and now my battery percentage wont show and my iPhone just keeps turning off and on. The guy at the counter was a nice guy he just did his job wrong. Unless my iPhone is just that broken to begin with but I just brought it in for a simple screen break.

I highly recommend TCR for any phone repairs! My iPhone6 had a bath and drowned in May. Eric was able to preform a feat of magic and revived my phone! I was so impressed! I cant thank him enough! A couple of months later my phone would not turn on and was very hot. I brought my phone back to Eric who remembered my phone because of the considerable amount of corrosion in it back in May when he first fixed it . He once again fixed my phone this time in a matter of minutes by adding some insulation around the battery. He did not charge me saying it was part of the first repair. I am so thankful to Eric for his expertise and outstanding service!

I had a great experience at Triage Cellular Repair in Chapel Hill! I had to get my LCD replaced and Eric helped me out. He was very friendly, nice, and extremely efficient. He was done in like 9 minutes! I had a repair done before at a other place and he was able to tell that immediately after opening the phone. The last repair was bad and he made sure everything was put back right also fixed the earpiece which broke in the last repair. Overall very happy with the job Eric did and the quality of the store itself.

I came here to get my Pixel XL phone battery replaced (which requires removing the display). They had to order the battery, and then forgot to tell me it came in (I had to call in to check), and then they broke the display while fixing it. But they gave me a loaner phone, and knocked 25% off the price of the battery repair (no charge for a new display), and a week after they broke it, my Pixel was back in my hands with a new battery and display.They were honest, transparent, and reasonable, and if they hadnt forgotten to call me to update me on the battery, Id probably even give 5 stars.

I had my phone screen replaced here about a month ago. My phone screen is now very unresponsive on different parts of the screen. The bottom part of the screen darkens sometimes too. I wish I had just lived with the small crack on the screen because after my phone was returned to me, the screen is barely functioning.
