Ive been to the dealership twice...Dec. 27, 2014, for the ignition recall and on Jan. 3, 2015, to have a speaker replaced. Brant Thompson helped me in Dec. Tim Wilder helped me in Jan. Both were wonderful. Ive dealt with Brant for a number of years. Hes always been extremely helpful and courteous. Tim was great, too, though, this was the first time I had met him.The service has been quick and the results have been to my satisfaction. The speaker & labor came in under the estimate. My experience with Performance Chevrolet was excellent. With the situation I had they could have given me the runaround, but the service staff was very straight forward with me on exactly how much time and what was being accomplished with my vehicle. Service provider answered by questions and treated me with the utmost respect. They secured a rental car for me so that I could get back to work. I had a rental car for as long as they had my vehicle. No hassle involved in the transaction. Service staff took care of everything.

The people at Performance keep me coming back for service. I have an older car that they help me keep running smooth. I appreciate them giving me options on what should be serviced when to keep me and others on the road safe. Brandt and Tim are always kind and easy to share a laugh with. As always my experience with Performance in Chapel Hill is an added plus when it comes to customer service. My sales rep Mr. Vincent McLeod is on top of every thing thats needed to keep my Malibu on point. Mr. Tim in service department is always friendly and points me to the nice clean lounge for coffee and snacks. I love this place called Performance. It does what its name says, It Performs. Since we moved to North Carolina in 1999 we have purchased all our cars from Performance or another dealer the Hendrick Auto Group. However, since we live nearest Performance, we have always had our service work, oil changes, routine maintenance, etc. done at Performance.They are always friendly, helpful and thorough and treat women with the same respect as male customers, explaining and answering questions as appropriate and explaining all fees prior to implementing the repairs or maintenance.We highly recommend them for all your auto maintenance.

I recently had a recall issue with my Chevy Cobalt and the service department at Performance Chevrolet handled it professionally and without much disruption to my routine. During the time that the Cobalt had to be in the shop, I was given use of a courtesy car at no charge and my repairs were done expertly. Great job and great service!

Friendly and prompt service. My service advisor was professional and timely. Also, I used the shuttle service during the day to get back and forth from work and my drivers were courteous and very knowledgable. Even during peak time my wait was minimal. Outstanding job!

We had a major engine repair performed on our 2010 Chevrolet Suburban, We must identify and say that Brant Thompson and the team in his service department, including the mechanics and their support staff were outstanding in every way possible. We felt like we were treated very good and they took care of every detail, from scheduling a time to keep the car for two weeks for the repairs, to scheduling the rental vehicle, to assisting us in returning the rental car, to keeping us up to date as the repairs took place, to getting every possible item in the engine checked out thoroughly, to avoid any further problems with our car. We, like so many people have had a hard time finding trustworthy car dealerships to have service performed on our vehicles, but with Brant Thompson and his staff, we have found a winner at Performance Chevrolet in Chapel Hill, NC. I have both purchased a vehicle and had service performed at Performance Chevrolet and have had great experiences everytime. Both my husband and I prefer to deal with Performance. I had a problem with my 2013 Equinox and I was treated with respect and kept in the loop with the status of my truck. I recently bought another Equinox, this time from Performance. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They really listened to me concerning payments and features I wanted. We will continue dealing with Performance.

Went to get my 2011 Malibu transmission checked on a Monday for 139.43, they said it was fine, test drove it and it was great. On Sunday of the same week my transmission died. Now I am looking at a 3400 repair at a transmission shop. SMH!Where is the recall on these terrible transmissions?Still waiting on my reimbursement check of 139.43 to come three weeks later.

I recently bought a 2012 Camaro. There was a recall on the keys, they stick out too far, no biggy. I called and made an appointment. I dropped the car off with ease. Every thing was explained to me by Brant Thompson who was kind and courteous. The shuttle dropped me at work. When i went and picked it up Brant explained to me that i need brake pads soon, good to know. Everything went smooth. I had a good experience and would recommend Performance Chevy to anyone.

We took our Toyota Highlander to Performance to have a routine oil change and tire rotation. After waiting 10 minutes to have someone write up my car, I got out of the car and went inside to find someone. Then, when I went to pick my car up, they could not find the key, and they did not know where my car was. Finally about 20 minutes later, they brought my car out. Two service advisors asked how I was doing while I was waiting and I told them that I was frustrated and they walked away from me. When my car was brought to me, the service indicator had not been reset. Three mechanics later, it was reset. Forty-five minutes after I arrived, I was finally able to drive off in my car.

My car buying experience in 2013 was great however my customer experience did not flow into the service department. I call for an appointment for a quick oil change on Monday morning stated they were a little bit busy (no problem) my call was returned Tuesday at noon. My appt. was Friday at 11:45 I arrived 5minutes early and to their credit it was a busy day in the service department but my car was not ready until 2:35pm. Almost 3 hours for an oil change is RIDICULOUS!!! I drove 50min for a scheduled appointment my entire day was wasted on an oil change. There was no apology no nothing and the service guy was irritated that I ask twice how much longer and then sent someone who else to bring me my keys. I would rather pay for service than return here for FREE!!!

Our son came home to surprise his mother for Mothers Day. When he was driving back to NC from PA where he would be living for the next couple months, he had trouble getting the car to go into park when he stopped for gas. Eventually he was able to put it into gear. He got the gas, proceeded to finish up his trip and when he arrived at their destination this time he could not get it to go into gear. He called us here in Harleysville, PA to ask us what he should do. AFter some friends helped him they were able to put it in neutral and get it into a spot in front of their home and thankfully one of the boys was able to push it into park and put the emergency brake on. Next day, his mom did some searching online and found out that problem could possibly be a recall issue. We contacted our mechanics here in Harleysville and they confirmed that there was a recall. We had never received a notice to this effect. The whole purpose of our son taking this car was for safety because we felt he would have no serious car issues whereas if he took his own car (a 99 explorer) he would. Long story short, his mom found Performance and Ken and Brant could not have been more wonderful. The whole experience after they entered the picture was one of relief and thanksgiving. They were helpful beyond my expectations and made a very stressful situation one of calm resolve. My son had AAA tow the car into Performance, they ordered the part and the next day the car was fixed and ready to be picked up! And to make matters even better, since it was the recall issue we werent hit with a huge bill. Everything was covered under the recall. I cant thank them enough and we will definitely be happy to sing their praises.

Recently, I bought my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado at Performance Chevrolet. Our salesman Daniel Wuligar ( I hope I spelled that correctly) was very informative but in no way pushy. The truck I bought originally had a significant amount of chrome after market add ons that I did not like. He had the shop remove everything prior to purchase. The process took a bit longer than originally anticipated so I ended up spending many hours waiting but we were kept up to date on the progress. We were given a fair price on the vehicle and our trade. I would recommend Performance Chevrolet if you are in the market for a pre owned vehicle.

I spoke with Monica and who was very accomdating and gladly made me a same day appt. Ben Oswalt was my advisor and he knew I had to have my car back by a certain time due to time constraints of picking up my daughter at daycare, and he not only got the car done on time, he had the work completed ahead of schedule to ensure that I would be able to make the pick up time without any delays. Kathy Thomas in the detail department and her team did a great job detailing my truck and got the millions of bugs off the front of it from a recent trip up north - they even got the ones off the top of the cab! Great job everyone!Dec 2013: We purchased a 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country from Carl Diederich, and also purchased numerous GM accessories from the parts department (Bed liner, splash guards, all weather mats, cargo hooks, step rails, LED bed lighting, etc). The parts came in very quickly and we called the dealership to make an appointment to have them installed. We were able to schedule an appointment at a convenient time for us the next day, and the service advisor got our truck checked in and the parts installed! We love our truck and the accessories, and have received a lot of compliments on the truck. Thank you everyone for doing a fantastic job yet again, and delivering the Performance Promise.Dec 2013:I called in and made an appt to being in our familys Toyota Corolla for a 60K mi service and spa appt, and it was a great experience! Making the appt with Tawan Faulks was quick and easy, and everyone is very professional and very customer focused. Tim Wilder was my advisor and he ensured that my car was ready on time and the detail department did a great job cleaning up the car. It looks, smells, and runs like a new car!Jan 2014:I called in and spoke with Monica to schedule an appt to make a small adjustustment to a splash guard accessory that had been installed, and a recall came out on the day of my appt. Even through we decided to forego the adjustment of the splash guard, Brant Thompson went ahead and completed my recall right away so I would not have to make another appt and come back. It was very convenient and everyone was great! Thanks
