Walgreen website says I can get vaccinated for Td at this store and I made appointment and visit here. There are two male phramicists (maybe they are just the staff) who look just like twins! One of them (I did not remember his name) told me that website was wrong and they do not offer Td vaccine after he whispered with another female staff and chunkled for 2 mins. Okay, thats fine. He even gave me faces when I asked about the vaccine like I bothered his work. He did not appologize for the wrong info on the website and even laughed at me for what? Such a terrible experience! If you are going to get vaccinated, do NOT get vaccinated here. Go 602 Jones Ferry Rd coz their phramacists are much more responsibe than here and will definitely offer you better service.
Walgreens is my preferred pharmacy and this is my preferred location. I feel like the selection here isnt as good as it could be and the layout is a bit confusing, but the staff is friendly and the location is convenient except there is one entrance and 2 exits so getting in, if youre not heading in the correct direction, can be tricky or even impossible if traffic is heavy. Its not ideal but maybe one day the can address it.
Today David and Penny made my day much more pleasant by being compassionate. I was across the street at Fastmed for urgent care and as I left the last thing I was thinking about was needing a mask. URGENT CARE HAS A POLICY NO MASK NO SERVICE. AND OF COURSE NO MASKS FOR THOSE WHO DONT HAVE ONE. As you can see, I needed a mask. I went across the street and David got me a mask directly out of a box and Penny was comforting. I appreciate it when people do the right thing compassionately without question, the are awesome people and I would recommend anyone to visit their store for what they need.
I had been coming here for years and changed jobs so changes were made to my insurance. I came here to try and get a flu shot and without even reading my new insurance card the clerk working at the pharmacy told me they wouldnt take it and was incredibly rude about it. I think they only look at logos for insurance cards and dont check further. Wouldnt allow me to explain that my insurance should cover it and even called my insurance to check. I have since changed pharmacies since their customer service was awful.
I was racially profiled by the pharmacist. Pharmacist called the police on me because she thought I stole an Epi-pen that my boss needed for the office and she said that I was rude and I was in her face. There was a plex glass in between us and I was 6 ft. I thought I would never had to face this. I have told all our patients not to do business with them take the prescriptions to another Walgreens or another pharmacy all together.
I’ve been coming to this location to get my prescriptions filled at this location for almost two years now, and for the majority of that time, my experience with the pharmacy staff has been unpleasant. It’s not the pharmacist, so much so as it is the staff. There is one tech in particular that is always there and during each encounter she is always very rude. Just very poor customer service skills. Today I just became so fed up that I decided to call Harris Teeter Pharmacy and have my prescriptions transferred there. I should have transferred a long time ago, and could have saved myself many unpleasant and inconvenient experiences.
Ive been a long-term customer at this Walgreens since moving to the area years ago. Lately, the pharmacy staff have been calloused and rude. Ive stood in line, as the only customer, for 15 minutes as the person on staff ignored me. Most recently, Ive had three different employees act extremely short and then frustrated while I was trying to update my insurance and prescription information. I finally decided to switch pharmacies and the woman who answered the phone today was downright rude (huffing and snapping after I relayed the information about what the other pharmacy requested). These are stressful times, but as someone who works in Customer Service as well, do better.
THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST JUJU. idek it’s just the best. i printed out pics here AND found a geocache 😼
Idiots manage this place. According to pharmacist on duty they have scheduled 6 to 8 people for vaccines every 15 minutes. They have 1 person doing vaccinations and taking 10-15 minutes each. When you ask why would they schedule 6 people for 1 room they threatening to deny you the vaccination. There was NO santization done to the treatment room between visits!!!!!People have scheduled appointments but they are allowing walk-ins and people with later appointments a spot in line before on time scheduled appointments.
First, the woman with bow in pharmacy is the only reliable worker that keeps me coming back. I worked for Kerr Drugs many years ago and I can tell you that this pharmacy is mismanaged with their time, communication and overall customer satisfaction is rude and aggressive. If a customer has to hound a pharmacy and wait days for their prescription its a failure such as this.
I called to schedule a COVID vaccine appointment and the woman pharmacist who answered the phone said We dont have those before I even finished my sentence and hung up on me before I could say anything. Very frustrating, very disappointed.
I have nothing but good things to say about this pharmacy. They are extremely helpful. Call you if there are issues with your prescription. Always friendly. I’ve dealt with plenty of pharmacies and this one is top notch. Recently went to another pharmacy and despite telling them that I was on a medication that was required everyday; I didn’t receive a courtesy phone call when they were out of stock knowing it would be 5 days before they received it. Called Wal-Greens, issue resolved and they even called the other pharmacy b/c I was informed they could transfer the script which was not the case. The Wal-Green’s staff voiced concerned (not required) about me receiving my medication as I was going out of town. That kind of service means if they have one off day it’s okay b/c we all do. It is not their norm. Let’s not forget all the good interactions and deeds b/c one day was sub-par.
Wife and I went in for flu shot and shingles vaccine. Only one person in front of me. We arrived at 10:00 and did not receive the final vaccine shots until a little after 12:00. Same thing happened last year. TO MANAGEMENT: GET YOUR PHARMACIST SOME HELP. YOU HAVE THEM DOING EVERYTHING. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. I COME HERE OFTEN AND ALMOST ALWAYS HAVE A LONG WAIT AT THE PHARMACY. NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR EMPLOYEES. WHAT IS WRONG IS MANAGEMENT. FIX IT PLEASE. AND YES, i AM SHOUTING.
This place has very few parking spots, and can be difficult to turn into and get out of depending in where you need to go, which is why i took off one star. I find that most of the Pharmacy staff is excellent, and makes up for the parking lot layout. My daughter has epilepsy, so I have to go to this pharmacy a lot, and the Pharmacy team has been really great through many different medications. I find that the store itself is clean and well stocked, and overall a good shopping experience.
Pro#1: Available supply - they seem to have had almost everything Ive ever needed on hand. Super convenient.Pro#2: Fast filing times - 15 minute fill estimates usually right on and theyre good about letting you know if therell be a longer wait - which has happened on a few occasions.Pro#3: up-front staff are usually polite and courteous, pharmacy staff are a different issue...Con #1: see pro#3 - For the past year or so the pharmacy seems to be chronically understaffed such that the pharmacy folks seem to be constantly overwhelmed and in a rush; theres always a longer wait in line than my previous pharmacy (Kerr) and when I first started coming here a few years ago. Of course I cant blame the staff - thats managements fault...Con #2: Walgreens is a giant corporation - giant corporations tend to have poor management. I prefer the service (and prices) of a smaller-scale community pharmacy but at this point stock availability is more important to me. Win some, lose some.Con #3: Getting in to the darned store! For some reason the town of CH decided to make it almost impossible to get in and out of the parking lot. I dont think I can describe it, but youll see what I mean if you go. During heavy traffic this is absolutely maddening!
My family has been coming here for a long time. Five or six years ago I would have given this walgreens 5 stars but around the time walgreens bought Rite Aid this pharmacy just got swamped or idk something happened and for me they dropped to a 2 star rating (being nice). Over the past year Ive seen a lot of good changes. I think they have a hard time here because its location and size. Its a very small pharmacy and they see a lot of people here! This is my go to pharmacy though for sure. For such a small store theyre selection is quite large.
Called in and spoke to someone in pharmacy dept yesterday and ordered two prescription refills to be picked up today. When I got there today to pick up, the pharmacy clerk Saad told me they just got the order and both were not in stock. I told him, I called 24 hours ago and requested over the phone. Apparently, he did not hear me, he repeated what he said at first. I repeated to him that is not true, and someone should have called me to tell me not to attempt to pick up.I felt he was rude and unprofessional to repeat an untrue statement to me after I told him I placed the order with a person on the phone yesterday, it was not automated request.
Great pharmacy staff. After a few visits, most of them know me by sight and greet me by name. Very friendly folks at the front checkout, too. And a very kind lady who works the cosmetics counter always is ready to take customers when the line gets long. Really top-notch customer service at this location, good job.
I can only speak for the bathrooms here. There are two one-stall bathrooms, and one is labeled men, and one is labeled women, but that shouldnt matter, right? I mean, theyre identical, one-room unisex bathrooms. Anyway, I sprint to these bathrooms after I realized breakfast wasnt sitting right in my stomach, and the one (arbitrarily) labeled men is taken, so what can I do but use the one labeled women. And as Im in there having a pretty bad time, I can hear women starting to line up outside - and when I finally come out, theyre all like thats a womens bathroom, and all I can do is mumble sorry, but like, come on guys - theyre identical, gender neutral bathrooms. They should seriously be labeled as such. So one star off for that. Otherwise, good store.
Pharmacist who worked on Sunday 9/15/19 during the service window malfunction not a good problem solver nor is she helpful. One star for laziness and poor customer service.
Many customer service problems at both checkout and pharmacy. For example: no one available to checkout at front, so I gave up and left. Later that day, I got a text saying RX was ready; came six hours later only to learn RX not ready, for 1/2 hour delay.Couple weeks ago, a beer truck blocked cars entering from Estes Dr. Staff and manager were totally indifferent to several customer complaints.Serious management issues at this WGs.
Almost every time I come to pick up my prescription, it takes at least 45 minutes to go through the line and get my prescription. No matter how long the line is, they only have one person taking care of people. Theyre advertising express pick up which most likely wont help if they never use the express register. Its made me late for work several times, and Im probably going to switch pharmacies for this reason. Im fed up with it.
Clean, well-stocked store with very helpful staff in ever department. The best frequent buyer reward program of all of the pharmacy chains.
Your average wallgreens. Staff is fine. Prices are high, to be expected. Location is busy intersection. Pharmacy has been quick for me.
Went in today for the Fedex center drop-off and the cashier was very rude. She was unnecessarily dismissive and very unhelpful.
The Pharmacy is very unprofessional! Especially management team they are rude and very unprofessional will never come back here again !!!!
The pharmacy staff are uniformly courteous, expert, and helpful. Best pharmacy ever. Thanks.
This is the pharmacy closest to where I live and Ive always had a good experience here. No issues.
This Walgreens (WG) sits on the SE intersection of E. Franklin St. and Estes Rd. What parking there is, is terribly difficult to get into. Once there, parking is perhaps 25 spaces. I have used their pharmacy four times in two years. The pharm techs are either bored or put out that you are there or both. When I complained to the manager, I was told I was wrong. I like Walgreens. I dislike this location. Avoid.
20 minute refill took 1.5 hours for a text, 2 after waiting in the line 3 times. Rude staff as well.
Incredible service, and really great selection.
Extremely rude manager that was unhelpful in my experience.
Hand splints, clerk wast aware of the products you carry
Staff members are mostly very friendly. Theres sometimes lack of choice.
Every time I come in to pickup my prescription I have to wait at least 15min - not acceptable!
Worst customer service ever. I was told to get in the back of the line because I had insurance!
Poor service and long wait.
Difficult place to get into and pharmacy is slow.
Service is not polite, especially from the pharmacist man in charge, they are condescending towards the customers that are not familiar with online account details.
