Update: my first oil change... I booked my appt online not realizing that booking online DOES NOT guarantee you a spot to get your car in within a reasonable time frame. It basically puts you in line for when a tech opens up and theyll get to your car in a few hours. My service rep, Jennifer Pace, understood my concern with wanting to get my car taken care of within a in hour or 2. She is a go-getter! Jennifer got my car into a bay and I was out of there within 2 hours, instead of 5 hours (that I was previously quoted).Jennifer Pace in the service department will get you taken care of and she did explain to me that I have to CALL the service desk to get a guaranteed appointment time for something simple like an oil change. THANK YOU JENNIFER.******************I have been researching Ranger trucks and was very interested in them. I actually visited the dealer on Saturday 4/24 to see the full size Bronco in person at the launch party, but ended up leaving with a new Ranger truck! Why? Well I found one with everything I wanted and had an awesome salesperson to help me seal the deal.Ryan Ferry was fantastic! Contacted their finance department for an extended warranty. Was told I had to get a safety inspection before it could be implemented. This dealership told me it would be 2 months before they could get me in for a 30 minute job. Was told by said finance department that it could be any other shop, it didnt have to be a Ford dealership. Asked a manager from said finance department if there was any paperwork that I needed to get this safety inspection completed, he said he had nothing but that the dealership should have something and would know what I was talking about. Called three shops around the area to ask about this safety inspection, none of them had heard of it, but one was willing to make an appointment. Upon arrival, asked if I had paperwork for safety inspection, informed them that I was told they would know what I needed and would have the documentation required, and was promptly told they had no idea what I was talking about. So after wasting most of the morning trying to get a safety inspection, I called said finance manager back only to be part of the most condescending and confrontational exchange that I can remember in quite a while. To make matters worse, I found out my extended warranty had been implemented without a safety inspection, without my signature on the agreement for the warranty, and without payment. Then, I call to speak to a general manager about the situation only to find out the service agreement had been canceled without any further response from the finance manager or the general manager. There are FAR better dealerships to spend your money than this place and I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

We recently purchased a 2021 Bronco Sport from Palmetto Ford. We worked with Jake Miller, and had a great experience. With my first call to the dealership early on a Saturday morning, I was put through to Jake. As we were en route when I made the call, upon telling Jake what we were looking for and confirming the vehicle was on the lot, he had very little time (approximately 10 minutes) to pull the vehicle forward and prepare for our visit. But, the vehicle was up front and ready for a test drive when we arrived. We had multiple places to visit that day so did not purchase the Bronco right away. Jake provided his cell number in case we decided to follow up. Ultimately, I did call Jake back, one hour before closing that evening to see if the vehicle was still available. We proceeded with a verbal and deposit to purchase, I filled out the credit app on line and by Monday evening the new Bronco was sitting in my driveway. Jake was informative but not pushy. He allowed us to take our time with the decision making process. He was very available and responded quickly when I contacted him, but he did not pressure us all day with phone calls or texts. He was easy to work with and made this a very positive experience. I know Jake is a salesman and that’s his job, but he went the extra mile in what he did (and didn’t do), and that makes all the difference. Thanks again Jake! We really appreciate it!

My experience was with the purchase of a used car from their lot. I located a car on Palmetto Fords website. It was exactly what I was looking for, so living 3 1/2 hours away, I contacted a salesman at the dealership. After pictures were shared and a full description of the vehicle, we negotiated a price based on taxes, tag, and title (all-inclusive). I made the necessary deposit to hold the vehicle so that I could travel the distance to see the car. We traveled to Charleston the night prior to viewing the car, staying in a hotel, so that we could be there when the dealership opened the next morning.We test-drove the car and found it to be correctly represented, so we proceeded with the preliminary paperwork. When it came time to pay for the car, we were then told that taxes were not included in the price we were quoted since we were from a different state. The sales manager, who was NOT very customer-friendly, stated that he had told the salesperson to inform us, during the negotiation, that taxes were not included in the price we were quoted, but this information was never relayed to us. He begrudgingly agreed to take $57 off the price of the car and fill up the gas tank.It was obvious that they were not willing to negotiate any further, but we purchased the car anyway, since it was what we wanted. The salesperson was extremely apologetic; however, being in sales myself, had I made a mistake like that, I would have compensated the customer out of my commission. But, apparently Palmetto Ford is more interested in accommodating themselves instead of the customer. I learned two valuable lessons that day: always get your negotiation in writing and dont deal with Palmetto Ford.

Their services department is extremely rude and inconsiderate to existing Ford owners.My car is 1 year old with only 6 thousand miles and started experiencing electronic issues while on the road while evacuating hurricane Ida.Collision alerts (when there are no cars around me), dropped GPS signals and inconsistent car locks are a security issue. I was told the only opening they had for services was a month out. I explained my situation and asked if there was any other option to get my car serviced any sooner. The woman on the phone was rude, condescending and just dismissive - told me no and dropped my call.Praying someone shows her some grace cause she seems like she needs it.If you own a Ford and need service and support I would not recommend Palmetto Fords service center. The service couldn’t have been better as far as purchasing a vehicle goes which is normally a huge pain in the neck they made it seamless and efficient we were in and out in less than three hours driving home a new truck.Although everyone at the dealership was courteous polite efficient and kind our salesman Kelvin Ruffin was amazing.No pressure, very knowledgeable, very fair and just an all-around stand up guy. I would recommend seeing him and going to Palmetto Ford before you go to any other place!

Saw a car online and contacted them. Jake Miller was the salesman and was able to answer all my questions on the phone. We setup an appointment for the next morning for the test drive. Got there and he had the car ready for me to look over and take out. We bought the vehicle and the service through the entire process was excellent. Will look at them again the next time we are in the market.

In my opinion, to be someone that knows nothing about cars, and someone that knew nothing about buying a car even, being there with the help of Dannie Wicker, I really learned a lot and he took his time to thoroughly help me out. He didnt talk over my head like most car salesmen do which I LOVED and he explained everything and every step to me so that I could have a clear understanding of what was going on. He helped walk me through the process of car buying, gave me his own tips and opinions on my car buying decision, made sure I was comfortable while waiting, offered me coffee and water and etc. and honestly just made me feel more comfortable about my car buying decision. I have been going to Palmetto Ford for service since I bought my Ford Edge almost 3 years ago. Service has always been decent but recently I have been highly disappointed.I dropped my car off on Monday (6.21.21) morning at 8:30 AM for a scheduled routine oil change and did not hear back from the service department until 3:45 PM on Tuesday (6.22.21) afternoon -- FOR AN OIL CHANGE. I left 3 voicemails and texted with little to no response. I did finally hear from the service manager (John) who informed me he would take care of my situation and did apologize. He stated that I would be his point of contact moving forward and did NOT follow through on this aspect. I did not hear from him again until Wednesday morning at 10:20 AM calling in regards to a missing brake pedal.... sir... I think you have the wrong client -- that is NOT me. He was very confused regarding our conversation and did not know who the client was he was referring to. He said I guess I will go down my list and keep calling people.With all that to be said -- I did pick up my car Wednesday morning around 9:00 AM - they could not provide me my inspection video like they normally do because the system was down.I can kindly state that after 3 days of frustration - I am not sure this service dept. will be getting my business again. I tried to be patient and offer grace as we know everyone has tough days but poor communication is a HUGE factor in this.

Wouldn’t get your car serviced here unless you aren’t gonna need it for about a month.I can’t even get ahold of anyone to know how much longer my vehicle will be. Wednesday the 14th (almost 2 weeks ago) I get a call saying my car is finally done, then a couple hours later I get another call saying never mind because they forgot to take care of one of the two recalls that should’ve been done, and they already had my car for 2 weeks at that point. I said ok fine, he said I’ll get a call Monday or a Tuesday saying it was finished. That would’ve been last week, I called them today and they didn’t answer. Multiple times now when I leave a voicemail, no one ends up calling me back. I’m so beyond frustrated!
