Cody Edgington was outstanding! I cant say enough about how he went above and beyond to help me this morning. The whole team at 4WP made it happen. Great service, respectful and fully knowledgeable about what I needed. Thanks for the great service! A true team that works there with a sense of taking care of the customer. Thanks for giving me hope in places again with outstanding service!
Just moved here from Cali and since I used 4Wheel Parts there, I figured why not do the same here. I live in Summerville and I work for a dealership. Its a small drive and twice the labor for me to go there but figured its worth it... Well, I was wrong...The first time I went there, they left my front running lights hanging, they didnt hook up my front light properly and they left my negative terminal loose which caused my jeep to shut down twice before I figured out whats going on.I thought, everybody deserves a second chance so I went back for some other work. I dropped the jeep off at 9:15am.. was told 1 1/2 to 2 hours work for 5 things that I asked for which was very reasonable. I left and came back at 12:00... I was told that they couldnt do 2 of the 5 things I asked for because they couldnt find gas cap key and one of the parts I got was wrong ( nobody called me to ask for my gas key or to tell me anything about the wrong part ).... With that being said, I was charged for almost 3 hours of work for 3 things done on my jeep and 2 of them was literally plug and play parts...I understand that I have only been there 2 times and like to thank this place for the service but I think I look for someone else to work on my jeep.
Super Eric fixed my Jeep! We are in the middle of monsoons here in Charleston when I discovered that the rear window on my Jeep had come loose from the zipper. The zipper wouldn’t budge. The 4WP is right there on Savannah hwy, so I went over just to ask them what to do. ERIC came right out and started working on that zipper for at least 20-25 minutes, struggling in the heat and finally fixed it! I couldnt believe how hard he worked on it while chatting with me the whole time. What a super guy, and what a great store! My new go-to car place for sure! Thanks, Eric!
These guys here are great. They dont treat me any different because Im a woman they help me when I need it and they give me the best deal for my money.I cant say enough good aboutthem. We always have a good stock of the little things that I like to get for my jeep. And I always have a good time when I go in there talking to the guys. Theyre very knowledgeable and theyre very good at what they do. And thats not just the guys at the counter thats the guys in the back fixing and working on jeeps and other vehicles
Not very helpful. lackadaisical crew. I felt like a nuisance. left quickly and spent my $1100 on 4 new tires at firestone.
I brought my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited (2.5” Rock Krawler lift, 35” DC Mud Terrains, Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger) to 4 Wheel Parts to get some new tires and shocks. The Jeep was riding pretty awful and I was about done with it. After looking at it, the folks at 4 Wheel Parts informed me that I needed new ball joints and a new drag link. They suggested I upgrade the steering system as well, which I trusted them on. This Jeep now drives better than new. I can’t thank these folks enough for putting in the time to get my rig to where it is now. I highly recommend the professionals at 4WP Charleston!
The guys in this branch know their stuff. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help. Recommend anyone into aftermarket 4wd parts to give these guys a try
I love the fact 4wd parts ha come to Charleston. Theyve been around for a few years now here. Lots of stuff in stock that you would otherwise have to special order. And they do installs some of which I think come with a nationwide warranty! But do your research BEFORE you go in... The sales associates are not off-road gods. They are there to sell and make a living like everyone else. Ive caught a few of them on discrepency here and there and would have been embarrassing for them to call them out on them. They mean well! Bring your wallet!!!
Labor rate is way too high. Less than perfect installation. If you have to wait on an installation there absolutely zero soda or snack machines in the building or so i was told. When I asked the counter man if there was anyplace near to purchase a drink or snack he said I dont know of any I guess he drives to work with blinders on. Service station straight across the street. Would I buy from them again? No! High prices and low quality install.
Solid team great experience. did a really good job at making you feel welcome when coming in even if you dont know much about the business.
Ordered a part on 5/10/21, about a week or 2 later we hadn’t received the part so we called and they tell us “oh, we were out of stock of that part so we had to get it shipped from the warehouse”, I’m like wow, they could’ve told us that instead leaving us clueless. Anyway, 6/4/21 we still haven’t received the part and we haven’t gotten an status update on our order. At this point we are frustrated and getting ready to cancel.
Nice friendly store. Been a few times always busy. 😉
Good luck getting a call back from these people. Asked a question they said they would call me back, next day comes no call, called them they told me they would call me back with a answer and again no call back now two days later. 3 days since the initial call. Its been a week and I dont have a status on my order.
4 Wheel Parts - Off Road Truck & Jeep 4x4 Parts on Savannah Highway in West Ashley is an excellent source for all things four wheel parts. They have a really good selection of parts at a good prices and everything is well organized so it is easy to find the parts you are looking for. The staff here is very knowledgeable and is available to help when you need it.
Needed shocks for my truck, they had a good shock at a fair price put them on quickly
Did great work on my F350!
Find a different shop for your jeep needs. Corporate would be ashamed of the lack of knowledge that the techs here have.
Check all of the work BEFORE you leave the parking lot.March 18, I initially went here to get pricing on a long arm kit(totaling $4,000) for my TJ. After that my radiator blew up, March 25. I brought the Jeep back to them and place an order for a new radiator, a new rear bumper + tire carrier and ask specifically for a suspension inspection(that cost $115) with recommendations on what would be the next stage of upgrades to eliminate a problem I was having with steering. All of that totaling up to $2000. I picked up the Jeep, pay for the work, was handed my keys and I waited for a report from the inspection, nothing. I said so what about the inspection?? He said if there was something wrong, theyd tell me. They didnt even do ANY inspection on my Jeep because they completely missed the obviously leaking fluids found on my transfer case(See pictures). Rescheduled for another inspection a week later, after the inspection they said I needed a steering stabilizer. Washed my rig and find scratchs in my paint from the rear bumper. I then go look at the radiator, they damaged the ALUMINUM fan blades in many different spots! When I brought it back, the sales manager and one of the mechanic came out to look. Once they saw the radiator, they said it was only COSMETIC damage and wouldnt hurt the performance of the radiator. I looked at the guy and said you wont buy a NEW windshield with rock chips already in it would you? So after going back and forth, he(the mechanic) told me he could repair it with a radiator repair tool. They said they needed to order it and that they would call me when it came in, THEY NEVER called. So I called and set up an appointment. I bring the Jeep back in the early morning and I get it back that afternoon.....THEY NEVER EVEN FIXED ANYTHING, they made it WORSE! So I flat out told the sales manager I will not except their work and that they needed to replace the whole radiator. He again tried to tell me that it was only cosmetic and wouldnt hurt the performance of the radiator. I still would not except the radiator. So he tells me to take pictures of the damage on the radiator and the serial #. His solution was to send those pictures to the manufacture(Mishimoto) of the radiator and tell them that they sent a damaged radiator, so that Mishimoto would have to pay for the damage and not 4Wheel. He(sales manager) never owned up to the damage done by his shop. The radiator was shipped around May 9th and again they tell me theyll call when the radiator comes in...3 weeks go by and no call. So I emailed(May 31st) them and ask for an update on the radiator. Found out they HAD my radiator but NEVER called me. Great follow up from the sales manager!! So we set up an appointment to install my new, replaced radiator. We settle on a date(June 6th) and ended the emails. 5 mins later a second email from the same sales manager comes in, saying that the shipping for the radiator was covered but the labor and fluids were my responsibility(I was boiling at this point). I wrote back confirming the appointment date and I also asked if the store manager was going to be in on that day. 45 mins go by after that last email and I get a call from the store manager(Dylan), telling me everything was going to be taken care of and that the sales manager didnt know what he was talking about. So they replaced my radiator again and life is good. I will never go back to this shop and I would advise maybe checking out the Low Country 4x4 shop just down the road before you go here. This shops only saving grace was the store manager Dylan and is the only reason for the two star review. This shop lacks honor(they dont own their own mistakes, except for Dylan. Even the sales tech never apologized for messing up my work order), professionalism(they dont follow up on projects in a timely manner) and their sales tech are just that sales tech. They are NOT mechanics and lack quality knowledge of proper upgrades for advance applications. Check ALL OF THEIR WORK and only ask for Dylan if you run into a problem.
Expensive and highly overpriced but the staff is very knowledgeable
Very bad customer service, I have been 3 times there, they make me wait a lot hours, the system always it’s down
Do not believe the shipping information provided on this website. My order was cancelled and the part never received. The website shows items in-stock but in reality they don’t verify availability with the manufacturer for direct ship items. This resulted in a week long wait for my order, only to be told it would be delayed until September (2 months). I understand COVID has affected shipping, which is why I sought out a vendor who was claiming to have items in stock. It was certainly frustrating to say the least, as the issue could have been avoided if the inventory system just reported the items availability more accurately so I’d have the proper expectation at the time of purchase.
Very helpful and knowledgeable.
The company had great communication and customer service. Zach was easy to do business with!
Great place to get the accessories you need or want!
Great experience start to finish. Bought a leveling kit from Rough Country, brought it to them. Installed then and set me up with some new tires. Car looks great, they were very friendly and priced better than several other places I called. Will be back!!
Absolutely top notch service from the first phone call to arrival. They fixed the problem caused by a prior shop and a poor balance job on my new tires. The guys here at 4WheelParts did excellent work with great customer service from start to finish. Would highly recommend giving these guys your business!
Really great service, the guys know what theyre doing very well knowledged
Zack is the man. Got exactly what I wanted at better than online price. Check em out
Got a call that my parts should be in Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest and no follow-up call. Went down Saturday to be sure...
Called 4WP and talked with Ryan and he was extremely helpful with finding out some information about my truck. More than happy with the customer service.
Was put on held for over 10 minutes, and then hung up on. Called back, and instead of answering my question they said they would call me back. That never happened
Ordered a new set of BFGs online and needed a fast install for a trip...Ryan worked me into the schedule on short notice and got me in and out quick. Worth a two plus hour drive and will be back for parts on our new jeep. Thanks Ryan...youre a good dude!
Ryan knows his business. Great customer service, and even better work. They are problem solvers for sure! Thay really took take of my truck like it was their own. I for one really appreciate that.
Awesome group of guys working there. Drove in from a few hours away. Knowledgable and went above and beyond. My jeep looks great. Great prices on wheels and tire packages.
Great service. Very competitive pricing
Nice selection of SMITTYBILT products
FANTASTIC customer service. I walked in for a consultation and walked out with a plan for my vehicle based on depth discussion from the staff.Nothing was being sold to me, and immediate interest was taken in my vehicle and questions were asked about what I wanted out of the modifications.Based on this plan, I will 100% go with this establishment when I purchase the parts and need an install.Review to be expounded upon after installation.
THANK YOU to Zach and Mike (tech) who worked on my truck. Tires, struts, and shocks all on a Saturday and even stayed past closing time to trim the skid plate. There was an issue with the shocks I ordered online and Zach swapped them with a different size of the same brand with no questions asked. Everyone was very polite and professional. Love the ride of my new Mickey Thompson tires.Highly recommend 4 wheel parts to anyone looking for great service and folks.
This is the closest 4WP near me and its 4 hours away. I went to get an alignment done after a lift install and thought everything was ok but only a month later my alignment was off again. I can confirm this from 2 different auto services. Plus the alignment was $120 there where as it was only 60 from the other 2 spots. Im not sure if they can just reimburse me but Im not driving 4 hours out of my way to make it right I just wont do business anymore.
Scheduled a brake job 4 weeks ago to show up for my appointment and be told nothing was setup. The employee that supposidly reserved the spot didnt put it in the system and they wouldnt take any ownership in that and told me I would have to reschedule something 3-4 weeks out. What a joke of a business, take your money elsewhere!
Great place very friendly and knowledgeable
Ryan gave me a quote to get a lift kit installed and when it came time for me to pay it was $500 more than the quote he gave me. He flat out lied and tricked me
Cody was very nice and helpful, easy returns. Just didnt have the specified item I needed for my truck.
Cant rave about these guys enough- everyone there is super friendly and accommodating. They helped me find exactly what I wanted and made the install process so easy with a shop onsite! They have an awesome selection and you can tell their staff really knows their product. Id recommend them to any and everyone!
Fast service
These guys always take the vehicles I bring them to the next level! Keep up the great work!
Great service & products at a fair price. I have purchased products that I installed myself as well as had them install parts. Highly recommend.
Literally nothing went right with this store. My first order came and the rims were the wrong size, lucky me they had the same tires in the size of the rims so I settled for what came. Then the brush guard was lost during shipping, and went it arrived there was a scratch on it, one month after I had ordered it. And the wind guard never was ordered even though it was something I had asked for in my original assessment. I will not be returning to this store for anything, despite the fact that the staff was friendly.
Awesome staff who know what theyre talking about, huge selection of high quality parts.
They find parts no one else can. Had running boards installed. Great work, great service, friendly and knowledgable people. A must visit if you have a 4x4 vehicle of any sort. They do cater to Jeeps, but have things for all vehicles.
Ryan and Steve are very helpful and knowledgeable They steered my wife and I in the right direction for the upgrades we wanted for our new Jeep JLUR. They pointed out what was unnecessary expenditures saving quite a bit.
I just got my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Sport S 2 door back and I couldnt be more pleased with the work these guys did! From the moment I walked in with a million questions untill I got in and drove it off it was an outstanding experience. They answered any and every question I had and never made me feel like an idiot and didnt pressure into something I didnt need. This is the first time I hired someone else to do work like this, I usually do it myself. I recommend giving 4WP a shot, I did and Ill be back again!3.5 inch liftRims and tiresFront and rear bumperWinch
Excellent customer service staff has bent over backwards to make sure that I was happy with my vehicle. The Techs definitely know what theyre talking about and were able to address any concerns that I had. I strongly recommend if youre in the market for any 4x4 modifications or anything to do with your vehicles or UTV stop by and give them a try!!
Great place. If its available they can get it. Suppliers are the problem to getting some parts. Suppliers are slow but this place is good.
Great staff! Skilled and knowledgeable installers with a large selection of accessories
Nobody ever helped me!!! Walked in and walked around a few minutes checking out their products. I was going to get a bull bar for my 2017 F-250. 3 different employees looked but never helped. One even seemed to be a manager that obviously thought counting the register was more important than a customer. Walked out with my $2,000.00 cash still in pocket. Customer service at this location sucks!!!
Ryan was awesome and super helpful, some of other staff not so much but it happens... Check their website for deals and they pretty much price match everybody
Always have gotten great customer service here!
Low country, great news, we no longer need Low Country 4x4!!!!! This place is amazing, honestly heaven for the off road hobbiest in all of us. The staff is top notch, they know what they are doing and for the most part what they are talking about. I was discussing my Jeep and what I wanted to do, the gentleman working said that he was honestly more of a truck guy and directed me promptly to his coworker. Im on my 4th jeep build now and would have loved to have a shop like this for the first 3! Will be dumping my pay check in here for years to come.
Awesome staff with an awesome selection. Anyone in the lowcountry knows that when shopping for 4WD or off road accessories we basically had to hope for the best and order online before 4Wheel Parts opened up, now I love being able to walk into the showroom and look at the options I have in person before buying. The prices are great, and inventory is amazing. I love being able to buy something and walk out the same day with it. Not to mention their shop is top notch, so the stuff Im not comfortable installing myself, I can leave to the professionals. Would highly recommend everyone shopping for Jeep, truck, or off-road equipment check this place out.
Awesome experience told Steve Baxter the sales Manager what I was looking for and he took great care of me on my purchase !
Love this place....great service. Great folks....ask for Ryan and Mike...
Awesome place. Very large selection and super friendly staff! Thanks
Have had nothing but great experiences with 4wheel Parts. Will be back for my next set of tires.
AMAZING PLACE HAVE BEEN AND WILL ONLY KEEP GETTING ALL MY TRUCK PARTS AND NEEDS FROM THESE GUYS. CODY IS MY FAVORITE TO WORK WITH WHEN IT COMES TO PERSONALIZING YOU TRUCK!
So far its been very professional, and fast! The gentleman Ive felt with have been certiouse and patient! Theve tried to give me the best deal and at the most convenient time frame possible! I think the labor is a bit high, however when I take it in on sat and pick it up, ill know whether the price was worth it? Ive spent almost a thousand fillers with this visit, and its the first time and may be my last or ill continue to go there in the future?
Great people very knowledgeable
Ive needed tires for while now and knew I wanted to upgrade to 35s on my 2001 TJ. The staff at 4 Wheel Parts gave me a great deal on 5 KM2s and steelies and had them installed right away. Top notch sales and tech guys
Dylan is awesome, great depth of knowledge and tire/rim fitment. Excellent prices when bundling multiple items.
Awesome guys very knowledgeable and lots of great parts for your 4x4! Will return when I have too much money haha.
Great employees
Go see Dan he is knowledgeable and will help you find what you need
Inexpensive in always stopped never have any
Fantastic. Good employees. They know what are they doing. Plenty of parts.
Great knowledgeable staff. Eager to help!
Very helpful staff and competitive pricing.
Fair and decent inventory. Gear for street trucks too.
Cant say enough about the excellent service I got from 4 Wheel Parts! The drop centerlink for the lift on my 2500 HD broke and since I bought the truck with it already installed, had no idea where go get parts. After a brief conversation, they informed me it was covered under a transferable lifetime warranty and all I needed to do was bring broken one in and swap them out. They kept me updated on shipping and immediately notified me when it arrived (they knew I wanted my truck fixed). I will definitely be dealing with them in the future for the customer service which was above and beyond most experiences Ive had elsewhere!
Great prices And helpful and friendly staff.
After numerous bad experiences at Low country 4x4, I feel spoiled by the friendly staff and efficient service of these folks. They have my loyalty.
On 10/21/17 I dropped my 2012 jeep wrangler off at Charleston to have gussets/trusses/sleeves put on the front axle. I left it all week bc I was going to be out of town and thought this would give them plenty of time to work on it. I arrived on 10/27 to pick it up, drove for 2 miles and realized something was definitely wrong. took it back. tech told me that he didnt think the items that were put on could actually work with my lift. after 6 more hours of sitting and waiting, multiple techs driving it, calls made to G2 engineers, it was discovered that the drag link and track bar were not aligned properly. this was finally fixed. The foreman admitted he never drove it after it was completed. on 10/28 the front driver wheel fell off while driving. no clue if this is bc of work done or not. thank goodness I heard the lug nuts in the center cap and was able to get it off the road before the tire came entirely off or even more damage would have happened -not counting injuries if I had been going fast. instead the tire came off in the grass and the rotor hit the dirt. now I need a new rim. in addition, I was originally charged $115 for labor for painting - which their staff volunteered to do not telling me they would charge me. this was taken off only after I complained of shady business practices. Dylan, the store manager, did call on 10/28 and apologized, took the price of the warranty off and the truss kit, I think totaling $325. After the tire fell off the next day he called and offered assistance with a tow truck, etc but at the time I thought the rim was OK but found out the next day that the wheel studs were bad as well as the rim. we changed the studs out last night ourselves bc I needed a vehicle to drive to work today and put the spare on. now I need to buy a new rim. I called this morning to inquire about a new rim to be told it will cost me another $217.44. After I already paid $1700 for work last week (not counting the $325 credit although I havent actually seen the paperwork yet to reflect this), spent 6 additional hours of my life sitting there on Friday and after the jeep had sat there all week. It is things like this that gives 4WP such a bad reputation for poor customer service. I recently moved down here from Indiana and swore Id never use 4WP after the experiences with that store. but I wanted to give Charleston a chance. and on top of this - I helped during their Monster Sale all day serving hotdogs and hamburgers to their customers, then helped clean up everything. Ive given way too many hours of my life to a company that I dont work for and is now going to charge me $217.44 more for a rim that fell off after work done by their store.
Not bad price. Did good work.
Google should really allow for at least zero star reviews. I called 4WP around the time they open (9 AM) to get a quote on a service job. I was looking to get 5 tires installed on 5 new rims, mounted and balanced, Axle Sleeve installed, steering stabilizer installation (you know, since they are already going to have it on the lift, bolt on a few bolts) and front Truss and C2 Gussets installed. The first gentleman to help me was a little less knowledgeable but friendly and admitted to being a Yota guy, so still learning the Jeep. He informed me they were not able to install my Truss and Gussets because they were made by a company they dont carry, that sucks, but no biggie. Afterwards, he couldnt get the information for the other services requests so told me instead of me holding, he would get the information and return my call with a quote. Fast forward to nearly the 5:30 PM and I still hadnt heard back so I called back. The 2nd person to answer the phone was rude and seemed to be annoyed by me calling in regards to scheduling a service to PAY them. He told me that it would cost $890 for the Truss and Gusset install, to which I interjected that I was told before that they couldnt be installed. He had an AUDIBLE sigh... as if a telemarketer had called during dinner. Saying, yes I was correct, they cant. In regards to the other install, it was going to cost $1290. Nearly $1300 for tire installation, mount and balance... axle sleeve install and bolt on a few brackets for a steering stabilizer?!? Are you serious?!? I understand that you have to remove everything on one side of the axle, all the way to the axle shaft to install the sleeve but seriously?! After that attitude and poor customer service I decided to look elsewhere. I plan on doing so much more to my JK over the next few years. Too bad for 4WP that some basic customer service skills couldnt have kept my business. I would NEVER recommend this place just based on customer interaction alone.
AWESOME store for Wrangler lovers!
Great service, I was pleasantly surprised by the help and attention I received.
They have everything a four-wheel enthusiasts could ever want. Variety of options at reasonable and fair prices!
They dont keep much of a variety in stock other than keep stuff. My cashier was clueless.
Great people to work with on your next project!
Super helpful people!!
Great people great service
