This is a great spot to take your car when you are in need of service or repair. The owner Anthony goes above and beyond whenever I have to come in and see him. I had to take my car there for shocks and struts, his quoted price was literally hundreds of dollars under Aaas member discount. Top notch, quick service and work.

Only positive things to say. My truck was giving me multiple issues, electrical and mechanical. Within 2 hours of drop off the owner called me to let me know the diagnosis. Had the truck back two days later with everything fixed and costs less than I expected.

If youre reading this because you need a mechanic, GO HERE. To be candid, no combination of words Ive thought of can even begin to describe how incredible Autoworks is. I go to CofC, and my car would not start (yet again) before class. After asking for recommendations, I was introduced to Corey - an absolute angel - who towed my car in the morning and had it fixed by the end of the day for a VERY reasonable price. Corey was incredibly honest with the issue (did not try to upsell me or add additional problems to the list), and allowed me to make my own decision after providing supplementary information. Corey and Anthony are wonderful, honest men. I cannot say enough good about Autoworks or the gentlemen who work there. I am so, so very thankful for them, and I am so grateful to feel safe driving my car!!

This place came highly recommended from everybody in my neighborhood. I stopped through and got my vehicle checked out, they were fast and explained everything with me. They did not try to sell me anything, but I was so impressed by their work ethics and honesty, I figured I would ask if they could fix the issue. Great place and absolutely is my go-to for anything vehicle related from now on.

Quick friendly an excellent service

Had an unexpected repair come up on my Hyundai the day before I was supposed to go out of town. AoC personnel were able to fit my repair in and get me on the road on schedule. Had them check a couple of items the dealership indicated needed to be replaced. The items did not need to be replaced. No surprise there. Personnel have always been kind, accommodating, and honest to work with. Prices are fair. I was referred to AoC from a friend and recommend them to all of my acquaintances.

The only place I will take my vehicles is to Anthony at Autoworks. Anthony is honest and dependable and takes the time to explain every repair. The work is done at a fair price, and always when promised.

Youre crazy if you take your car to any other mechanic in Charleston. These guys are the best around. Anthony and his crew are the best and most honest people youll ever meet. I don’t take my vehicles anywhere else! Mine and my wife’s car, and both of my in laws vehicles go there if there’s an issue. It’s good to know that there’s actually an honest mechanic around that doesn’t take advantage of those who know nothing about vehicles! If I could give Anthony and Corey 6 stars I would. I am 43 and these guys are hands down the most honest mechanics I have ever taken my vehicles to. They are trustworthy, polite, friendly, reasonable, and are first class mechanics.Whens the last time a repair shop told you the vehicle actually didnt need something after two other shops said it did? Most mechanics get you car in, pick it apart and then tell you everything needs replaced. Not these guys, they have integrity and dont try to rip you off which unfortunately is the name of the game in the auto repair business. Prey on the unsuspecting consumer that doesnt know any better.Please do yourself a favor and save the headache of getting ripped off or even worse a sub-par repair and only consider Autoworks of Charleston for all your auto repair needs. My wifes car died on the way to work. Got the car towed and brought the autoworks charleston. The gentleman was very nice and quick to repair the issue. Only spoke with him on the phone but he got us all set up at a good price! Definitely recommend!

We have been going to Anthonys for several years now, ever since a friend recommended his shop to me. His work is first rate, priced fairly and is completed on time. He doesnt pump-up the bill by adding needless work and has said to me several times when I requested that a maniacal task (e.g. the brakes) be checked, that they are good and didn’t needed to be fixed at the present time. Finding a good mechanic who doesnt overcharge or add needless work is a rare fine these days. Use AOC once and you will have all of your maintenance work done there on all of your vehicles. Craig R

Ive been on the search for a reliable, HONEST, mechanic since moving to Charleston 2.5 years ago. Yesterday, I finally found Anthony Petti. My H2 has been a bit of a headache for myself and pretty much any other mechanic. Anthony was able to quickly diagnose the real issues and fix it instead of throwing parts at it. His shop fees are VERY reasonable and I never had any inclination that I was about to get taken. I thought about keeping Autoworks of Charleston my little secret but decided the Lowcountry needs to know about Anthony and his shop.

I’ve had work done on two of my vehicles at Autoworks of Charleston over the last year or so and they do excellent work at a very fair price. I definitely recommend them for your auto repair needs.

I live close to Autoworks.Sharon G is right on.I met Anthony about circa 2014 when he opened his new shop. I havent gone anywhere else since then. And I wont.Hes done major and minor repairs along with normal maintenance for us. There hasnt been one single wrinkle in his work. Just flawless.My family has 4 cars ranging from 1998 to 2007, 80K to 300K+ miles. 2 of these cars are driven by male teenagers-so these are not pristine, gently driven cars.HES KEPT US RUNNING GREAT.Someday when I have more time, Ill write about some of the binds hes gotten us out of. Weve been brutal on a couple of these vehicles - towing boats, mudding, etc. Somehow he saves us every time.Im certain hes saved this house THOUSANDS in repairs.He does what he says at the price he quotes - sometimes better.He added TIRES! I had a slipping transmission I took it too the dealer they wanted to replace it. I went too Autoworks he thought it might just be a valve. When he checked the valve he also checked the fluid and it was low he topped it off and solved my issue saving me thousands of dollars..
