I had to boat my way from Rivers edge marina to Daniel Island Marina Thats about an hour voyage. I was not wanting to do this during the cold days. Cory worked with me and we waited and planned days for me to bring my 280 OSX to Longshore on a nice day. He called about a week later and said the boat was ready, however the weather was not conducive to boating. My wife and I purchased a previously owned 40 powerboat from Longshore. We couldnt be happier with the experience. We worked with Brandon Ziel. He was very professional and open about the issues found on this 20 year old boat. Our delivery captain, Thornton, was knowledgeable and patient with these former sailors. He walked us through and made sure we were comfortable with the systems found on a twin engine powerboat.I have been very impressed by their customer followup with sponsored oyster roasts and rendezvous. We have yet to join them on one of these but look forward to, soon. They look like a lot of fun.

My entire purchasing experience (this includes the first trip there to gather information until I pulled my new boat off of their lot) was first class. This is saying a lot because I do not live in CHARLESTON and had to handle a number of things via phone, email, and text messages. My first visit is when I met Stephen Parulis. I did not call ahead and setup an appointment, I just walked in. Stephen was extremely patient and went over a great deal of information regarding the boat I was interested in (Robalo 246 Cayman). They had two of them onsite and we went over both of them in detail. He offered to take me on a ride on a future date to see how the boat operates firsthand. I took him up on this and he did a great job of covering the boat details from front to back. After this I scheduled a follow up meeting with him and told him the accessories that I was interested in. We went back over both of the boats again. He then emailed me the pricing for both of the boats so I could make an informed decision. I purchased the one I wanted and when it was ready Stephen scheduled an appointment for me to come get the boat and take it out for an on water orientation. This was very beneficial. Stephen treated me first class through the entire process. Even after taking the boat I have continued to exchange information with him and he has been extremely responsive. I was looking for a Robalo cayman 246 and tried to contact a local dealer in Florida after two visits two unreturned calls and unanswered emails I was a little frustrated to say the least.I was flying into Charleston and found the boat I wanted even the right color on the Longshore boats web page unfortunately they were closed but I left a message the next morning Stephen Parulis called me 8am and we discussed the boat. Stephan was very knowledgeable and so helpful I knew right away I found my boat and the right dealer. We discussed all my options and added a few things I wanted. Stephen told me I could come pick up the boat in two weeks I was like two weeks why so long. He told me they had to add the options I wanted and they wanted to make sure everything was good with the boat before they gave it to me. This was not my first boat but it was my first new boat and I’ve since realized talking to other people that the dealer can make all the difference in the experience. He delivered on time we took the boat out went over every inch of that boat everything worked and off I headed to Florida. I recently purchased a boat from Longshore Boats. Tim and Steve went above and beyondanswering every question which were many before and after the sale. We live in Georgia and drove 3 hours to go for a demo which they arranged on Sunday when they are not open so our family could come. Steve knew everything about the boat and we decided to buy the boat after his demo and trial ride. When we drove back to take delivery Tim arranged a 4 hour instruction with Capt Tom who taught us more than we had learned in years. Longshore Boats and Steve and Tim are in a class of their own.

My wife and I purchased a pre-owned boat from them. Stephen was our salesman. He was great but the problem is when we tested the boat it quit running and after about 30 minutes it restarted. I told them and my thoughts was the ignition switch. They said they checked it and couldnt find anything wrong. The first time we took it out after we got it the motor shut down and left us dead in the water. About an hour later it started again and ran for a short time and quit again. It did the same thing again. It left us 3 times while trying to get it back to the landing. I have reason to believe the brain is over heating and causing it to shut down. I have been talking with Chris and he is working with me to try and fix this issue. I am glad that he reached out to me and hopefully we can get this handled. Thanks a bunch for helping us Chris.
