I’ve got an older cart that needed batteries. Called a few places and not only were they the most responsive but also most reasonably priced. Marcus specifically your quick responses and callbacks is what sold me. I don’t know why that sort of thing is so rare these days but it was refreshing and I appreciate it. They quickly gave me an appointment (2 days after my call), picked up the cart before 11 and returned it with new batteries by 4. I called 4 cart repair business’s and they were the only ones that picked up the phone. So they got my business. My batteries failed on the way to my new house. They promptly sent their driver and drove me home. The estimate was fair and they took the time to go over it with me. Repairs were prompt and so was the delivery. No nonsense business. These guys are great to deal with! I walked in and explained the problem I was having with my cart. They picked it up when promised, emailed me a diagnosis and quote within a day or so, I approved the work, and before I knew it my cart was sitting in my driveway running perfectly. The work done was sufficient, but the communication was absolutely terrible.After calling to schedule an appointment and pickup of my cart, I was the one reaching out to confirm the pickup time the day of. I had to call two days into them having the cart to get the status report. Again at day four for another status report. Again the following week to confirm work had been completed. And again the next two days to schedule and confirm drop off. I received not one phone call or any other form of communication during this entire process.The cart operates properly, but again, customer service skills are severely lacking.

We had a really bad experience w a golf cart guy out of Florence who sold us our cart. After months of trying to return out cart and get him to fix it we decided to call these guys. They made an appointment to come get it, they showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem and had it back the same day. It was truly an amazing experience. I wish I had gone w them from the beginning. Their guys are very polite and knowledgeable.

I cant say enough about these guys. First, they offered to pick up my cart and diagnose free of charge. Second, they replaced my batteries and returned cart to me. Still was having some issues and it would not move. Marcus came to my house and worked on it and answered all my questions, he couldnt figure it out but they came and picked it up again and re diagnosed and replaced the motor and even went as far as to special order the motor for me and came in under quote. They even got it back to me prior to the 4th of July for my daughter and friends to enjoy. With this being said I had only purchased this cart a year ago from another local cart company and it was a problem from the beginning and they had no interest in helping me with my problem, just lots of excuses. The people at Charleston Custom Carts are the best!!! Quick, professional, cost effective, friendly and they definitely earned my business.
