I have been doing business with Pied Piper & Jim Hughes for 20 plus years! Jim is the most knowledgeable guy I know when comes to guitars, keyboards & pa equipment. Great company to deal with. Ive always got a fair deal was treated with respect. Its also American Owned & operated!

Employees doesnt seem to want to help customers. Yet they try and be sneeky and follow customers around like they are all thieves and criminals. Very disturbing to customers that need help want help and hve plenty of money spend.

I admire the quality of parts they carry but the overall atmosphere and is not shopper friendly.

Its a cool place to look for music stuff .

Good place to get some beginner and advanced level instruments! Prices are similar to what you can find new online. But here you can touch them and know how they play before putting your money down. The staff is knowledgeable and have been in the music game for many years. So they speak from experience, not just from what the tag says.

Ok, popped into the pied Piper because I needed a pick. Honestly a pretty good guitar/instrument store. Their guitar inventory was great and they had tons of accessories, upgrades, repair etc. Definitely better than I would have expected. Prices were reasonable.Only complaint I have is that the store was laid out a bit confusingly...but it was still great.

Spacious shop with a nice selection of instruments at decent prices. I tend to do most of my shopping online, but Id use this shop if I didnt. There are major brands and some high-end instruments there, as well. However, there were a couple basses that severely needed set up and some of the smaller products were marked WAY up

I bought a new mandolin at this shop 2 months ago. Since owning the instrument, I noticed some minor issues like an angled bridge and a noticeable buzzing (not string buzzing). I brought it back in to this shop and explained the issues with the worker - he could not hear the buzzing (it is a little tougher to hear but not impossible and not right). He acted like the bridge being angled was an issue but not his problem. He said I’d need to send it in if I wanted anything done about it. They did give me a cardboard box to help me with shipping if I chose that route but did not offer to look further into my issues. The worker helping me picked some tunes on my mandolin and acted like he didn’t hear it, and was not receptive whatsoever to my concerns. Later that day I took it to a real luthier who immediately noticed the issues and was able to easily address part of the issue - the remaining to be fixed being a new bridge. I will handle the remainder of the work needed elsewhere and won’t be shopping at pied piper anymore.

Great place ! Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Rock n Roll supplies !! Quality cords and cables to strings. With several stompbox and multi effects pedals to choose from. I always have to stop when in the area. Convienent and easy parking.Being a Lefty basss and guitars are at best minimal,& not to deviate from the norm a choice of the standard colors...Black or Black.Yet Pied Piper always has something!! Last visit I got to experience a. Left Handed pearl white Stratocaster with a tremelo! Not the flat bar n spring ... Floyd Rose..

If you want kind customer service, DO NOT go here. There seems to be a battle for commission with a few employees, and you can definitely feel the tension. Ive been berated for buying my gear online when bringing guitars in for set-up and have also witnessed employees angry with customers for asking another employee for help since it is, according to them, stealing their commission. Rude and terrible customer service. I wont be going back.
