Very Impressed.... The customer service was excellent and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Such a hidden gem that captures the spirit of New England. We highly recommend going out of your way to check them out. We will definitely return next season.

Tried to buy a pole here (prefer shopping local, small business, etc) and was pretty much ignored so I left. Returned a couple weeks later and this has to be the most unfriendly fishing shop Ive been. Maybe they only want regulars in here, that is the best I can come up with. Maybe they dont like something about me. Maybe its just how it is there. The first time I was ignored. I asked for help and got the most minimal attempt possible. The second time, (what I presume to be) the owner surveiled me as I shopped as if I just let myself into his house uninvited. The only commentary I received was when I said hello and bye. I tried to ask a question if they carried a certain kind of hooks and I just got a No back, nothing more. I dont understand the good rating here as I found it super unfriendly and super unhelpful. I tried twice and Ill just buy a pole elsewhere. After the first visit I gave it two stars but after the second visit, this is a firm 1-star spot.

Accommodating & friendly staff. They will drop & pickup kayaks to the beautiful 200 acreas saltwater pond leading to beaches, breachway or clamming. Cheaper than the rental place near Charlestown Beach, plus free parking!! Have been going there for yrs.

Best fishing shop around, they’re small but have everything you need and the staff is bar none the best. I’m a novice ocean fisherman but Simon has always taken the time to explain any question I’ve ever had, from reading the water to tying a knot. They also don’t try to over sell you anything just what you need, they’re down to earth just good people, I travel to Charlestown at least 5 times a year and will not go anywhere else for my tackle, thank you.

They are always helpful and even put my grandsons picture in album of his first striper.

This shop is great. Good vibe. Really helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Set my son and I up with lures, live bait with some good tips but didnt oversell us. Will def be going back when in the area.

Vacationing from Cleveland, Ohio and wanted to take my chance at catching some stripers. Talked to Simon and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Gave advice on where to go and what to use. Great guy and great place!

Very helpful. Wasnt to familiar with rigs for surfcasting. They helped point me in the right direction And choose the right bait to catch fish. Prices were fair and quality was excellent .

Excellent bait and tackle shop! Staff is always friendly and eager to help. Pricing is very reasonable, and there is always quite a selection to choose from.

Always have a great selection and the employees are very knowledgeable. They always put me on fish. You want to catch fish go here and just ask whats going on.
