I like breakfast here. So fresh. We ate vegg eggs with home fries, two eggs with pancakes. It was so delicious. Guys please come here for trying local breakfast

Literally my favourite diner in the whole world. Country-sized portions of delicious, affordable, savory food. Kindest staff, accessible location, small homey dining room, local feel. Cant say a single bad thing- Old Mill rocks! *stomach grumbles* I might even go there right now...

Great hometown diner. Friendly staff, inexpensive hearty food. The home fries were well seasoned and the coffee was fresh. Not swanky, just good straightforward diner grub. Ill be coming here often.

We came to the area to camp for our 1 year anniversary and stumbled on this place for a late breakfast and loved it! Small, but quaint, with a walk up window and plenty of outdoor seating, the food was amazing. Want to talk about a rare steak? They got that. The coffee was great and the staff was kind and attentive. Thank you!

After a 5 mile hike at a nearby hiking trail I stopped in for much needed food. The coffee was good, the server was friendly and the food was fantastic! I had the old mill diner omelette which contains all the breakfast meats with pumpernickel bread and home fries. It was HUGE and I couldnt finish it.Fantastic location. I have not had lunch or dinner so this review is based solely upon breakfast.

Really small quaint restaurant. We go often. Has a large menu with lots of home cooked meal choices. Large portions and good prices. The burgers rock! Daily specials are always good and their soups and chowders are yummy.

Excellent service and relatively short wait time. The food is good and the menu has quite a bit to offer. The dining space is small, however if youre looking for a family friendly environment with friendly people, this is a great place to go!

The diner is bigger on the outside. Small dining area being 20 x 30 with only 10 tables that sit 4 people each. The server was quick and attentive. But the food was way undercooked, my friend and I had western omelets - the eggs were runny, the onions werent cooked all the way, the ham couldve been cut into smaller pieces, and the green peppers were cooked just fine. Its too bad the place is a hot spot for the locals. Ive had better. Dont waste your time or your money.

The Wife and I have been going here for years. A small little diner that servers large portions of good food. Their 4 egg omelets are very tasty and any of the fried seafood dishes are done just right. The chicken and turkey diners are also worth trying. Seating is limited inside, but there are also tables outside. Of course the people there are all friendly, we are all locals. If your by, give it a try.

We recently went camping in RI and someone recommended this place to us. Great spot for breakfast. The wait staff is extremely nice, food was great, and the prices were reasonable. I love small hidden diners for breakfast.

They are so friendly, and very respectful. The menu has so many good things for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are great. Well definately come back.

We are frequenters and we love the staff! The food is typical New England and the price is extremely reasonable. The servings are good size so we always bring something home. Its not fancy but very friendly.

Was in there this Fri. at 5:15pm . No other customers . On a Friday night??? Only sea food available was fish and chips or chowder and clam cakes. No scallops no whole bellie clams. Place has really gone down hill.

Food was good, service was not. It was an awkward wait, no one came to help us and we had out baby with us. We felt more of an inconvenience rather then a guest. We WILL NOT be going back.

Something has gone very wrong. They changed hands in June - I asked. Because they USED to be my local favorite. Not anymore. I was there 2 months ago and my chicken dinner was not ANYTHING like it was- which was tons of moist big pieces of chicken over mashed potatoes swimming in mushrooms - You could NOT beat it, we were regulars. That was called Smothered Chicken which is no longer offered - Heres what I got that night, after ordering their Chicken Parm-: Received just plain old chicken tenders over pasta with sauce and melted cheese.. 3 very small pieces, and not tender. Not a nice tender cutlet thats big, like they USED to do!! I went AGAIN tonight, on Saturday Jan. 6th, 2018- hoping for a return to the normal, and they no longer had my favorite dish, right? So I ordered the smothered sirloin this time- . It wasnt bad, tasted ok, not a bad size......but my fianxes dinner, the Shepherds Pie, was awful. It was literally a pile of gravy with hamburger in it, over mashed potatoes. No corn in it, did not even resemble Shepherds Pie. He left hungry. We have never left hungry from Old Mill when Johnny owned it. And the waitress never brought my hot tea! The older lady waitresses they USED to employ never forgot a thing. Never ever. We were only one of 3 couples in there tonight !I knew it was a change of ownership - I confirmed that tonight. That is why the food is bad now and the service is terrible.Ive lost my go-to local eatery. Its just sad. Where are you Johnny (I think thats the name of the owner who had it for years when we were regulars). You are missed greatly.

Only reason for not giving them 5 stars is for the fact that being a guy with a rugged build, it felt too cramped. Otherwise, the food was great, the wait staff was friendly, courteous, and very attentive. I would recommend to anyone in the area to give them a try.
