I purchased a phone there and I did have personal service. The gentleman that waited on me ended up living in the same community as me. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the phone. The reason it only got four stars was that I do not like their return policy. You actually have to pay for a repackaging fee if you find out that you are unsatisfied with the item.
This is the best Best Buy in the Charlotte Metro area. It always has what I need and the staff are always helpful. It probably has the best inventory, too.What strikes me opposed to the other stores in the area is how well organized and managed it seems to be - I never have any issues with orders, products, etc. at this location.
Shout out to Hit today at the Best Buy in Blakeney! I purchased a phone at the Verizon store where the representative could not get my data transferred from my old phone. Hit promptly reset my new phone and was able to completely transfer all of data, emails, photos, messages, contacts and apps! Thank you Hit and Best Buy for a great experience!
Got there before 10AM to wait for opening, was the first person in the store and went straight to the TV section. I knew what I want and found it. Called for someone to help but over 30 minutes went by of multiple employees looking at us and just walking by. When asking them for help they just ignored us. We took our business to another best buy.
Trey helped me as soon as I walked over to some phones as I needed a new screen protector since I just had my screen replaced. He showed me and said for an extra fee they could put it on for me which I was more than happy to do. He was super friendly, awesome to talk to and did a fantastic job applying my new protector!Thanks so much Trey. Youre the best

I can usually find what Im looking for at this store and for a decent price. The staff seems to be generally knowledgeable and always friendly.
Good, prompt service with knowledgeable staff. They only had 2 of 3 the three items I went for due to a strange glitch in their website. For this item category their site was showing 6 plus year old pages including the numbers they had in stock. I didnt know this until I got there and they had none of these specific items in stock. I thought I was losing it. Fortunately I had taken photos of my monitor showing items I was considering, just before going to the store. I was able to confirm to myself I wasnt completely losing it...
Buyer BEWARE: BB make is extremely convenient to purchase but return policy are draconian and nearly consumer fraud. No return or exchange after 15 days.Purchase Apple TV device on 12/22/2020 via online/store pickup. I could not return or even exchange this purchase after 15 days! As side note BB has sent approx. 30 emails since this purchase. Again BB purchase an item we are here for you, return item we do not know you.
My shopping experience here is always quick. I get in, grab what I need and I get out. They always have what I need in-stock and the checkout lines are hardly ever busy.
Someone working in this store would have made the easiest sale of their career. But there was no one willing to do their job and assist us on buying multiple appliances. One guy was swamped with customers asking 1,000,000 questions, but nobody else even bothered. We asked a couple employees chatting to each other if they could help us out, and they said Ill get someone right away. But then, we left after waiting, and they were outside STILL TALKING. Do your job, folks. Its not hard.
Jack was helpful and was even able to refer me to another store for my purchase. Product availability is limited but that’s everywhere these days.
The people are helpful and friendly, but you have to find one. This is a pretty good store, nice magnolia home theater and the guy who helped us was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the movie section is very sparse and small.
All checkouts closed, so huge line at the one line at customer service. In the end, just gave up and left. Had to wait an extra day, but got a much better deal online!
Best Buy off Ray Road is the perfect place to find anything you are looking for. Great shopping experience and good customer service.
Molade (I believe was her name) helped me at the in-store pick-up and was very helpful in knowing what I was picking up, and made sure I had everything I purchased. It was easy and fast, and the she was so nice!
I had a bit of a computer emergency today, and the staff at the customer service desk (I apologize that I did not get their names but it was 2 women and 1 gentleman) were beyond helpful. They immediately brought the Geek Squad manager, Brandon Silva, over to help me as they could see I was very distraught. Brandon immediately went into action to have my computer worked on to prevent any further issues, and the entire team helped to calm my nerves and make me feel better. They were able to give me guidance and set me at ease during an extremely stressful situation, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them!
They need to train the employees how to treat people properly.
Took my Grandpa because he wanted to buy a surround sound system. We asked several people for help everyone kept putting us off on someone else and that someone else never came. We were in there for literally standing around waiting for about 45 mins. Another customer and I had to stop a lady who was working in the back to help us and 45 mins later we walked out empty handed because they didnt have what we needed in stock. She was very nice and helpful and apologetic but she was the only one.
You know I really hate to shop at Best Buy! They may have what you are looking for but you never know where to find it, God forbid you need any help! Ghost town! Or if you do find someone! They know nothing about the product you are asking for! So frustrating! Only reason for 3 stars is they have good prices once you find it!

Went in to buy a game for a the older model than the one that just released they look identical except for I believe an s on the front in small lettering so we went to exchange it for the correct copy its just my nephew open it halfway didnt even pull the tape off Returning it was like pulling teeth

Nobody cares to attend a customer. We went there three weekends for assistance with appliances selection and order. First time we waited for 15mins, second time 25mins and third time 45mins. Asked three to four different people for help, but nobody cares to help. They would just say, they will find someone for help, but they just ignore you after that.Never going back to this store again.We could see employees just bludging around, but not interested to work.We just had to go to this store repetitively, since the other store nearby was remodeling.Worst customer service ever with Best Buy Blakeney!
Horrible customer service at the Rea Rd store.Picked up an online order at 7:30pm. My wife looked for help while l looked at tvs.Had questions about a few models and received no help. Some employees even walked away, except a polite lady from Geek Squad.Other employees completely avoided and ignored us. Some were even standing on their phones, one leaning against product.We left shortly before 8pm, because we were tired of waiting and being ignored.
5pm in the afternoon is a Great Time to go to BestBuy
The rooms here are very clean. The room I stayed in was well stocked with linens, and everything you need in the bath. The beds are very comfortable. Very spacious rooms, not like a typical hotel. Remote controlled air conditioning, two TVs. Separate dining area, living room and nice kitchenette with large fridge/freezer, coffee maker with plenty of coffee. My room was well appointed and decorated to match the area here. I like the private balcony, feels more like a house than a hotel room. Nice pool, and covered patio/pinic area on the dock with 2 gas grills. Great place if you want to come and dock your boat right on your own private boat slip with direct access to the waterway. Ill be coming back for sure.
Had to get a new phone for my dad who is traveling soon. We had a plan with Verizon that included Unlimited Data that we signed up for a couple months prior to this. Salesperson was nice and helped us find what we were looking for BUT changed the plan we were on!!!Had told him from the start that we just wanted to buy a phone, no changes in plan or anything needed. He said sure. And yet we just got a message from verizon saying that we were over our Data limit for the month (again, we had UNLIMITED data before this)Happy we got a phone my dad likes but not happy that it cost us almost double our original phone bill because the salesperson decided it was a good idea to change our phone plan WITHOUT TELLING US.One star due to changing our plan without our consent, not telling us at all even after the fact, and costing us double our original phone bill. Deceit isnt a good look, Best Buy.
For now avoid this location as they are EXTREMELY short staffed. It took me 20 mins to get some help and despite being told someone was waiting the person that finally helped was on his phone texting a friend. Check out was lengthy also. There were 5 people in line for check out and only one cashier, and he was being trained! I have used this store before and was very disappointed at my latest visit as they usually have their stuff together.
Very helpful employees today. I was looking for a video game for my youngest, and I didnt see it on the floor, however when I looked online before leaving the house, they had several and you could have it within an hour. When I talked with the employee, he asked the name of the game and proceeded to go and get it for me. He was even able to ring it up for me so I didnt have to go through the checkouts. Easy breezy...😎
I am a nerd so I love this store. This location is very well managed and has a good amount of product on the floor and their displays are very well done. Came in for a phone mount for my work vehicle and I had a really nice set of options. Was asked if I needed help from a staff member which is nice. Sometimes you feel like the only people that notice you are the loss prevention folks at the front door.Lots of open box products available right not at a great discount. Great store, great location./

Went in on a cold night to do a quick return & I COULDNT BE HAPPIER with how easy the process was. Talk about contact-free transactions!! Used my emailed receipt to do return & since there was no need to swipe my card either (goes back the way I paid automatically) my money went right back to my card. Quick, safe & hassle-free!
This place brought me a damaged refrigerator AND damaged my walls in the process and is impossible to get this so called customer service to do ANYTHING! I have called now 11 times and not one thing has been done. NEVER BUYING ANYTHING AGAIN FROM THIS DUMP
Waited 30 minutes for help. I get it there is a labor shortage but it was more lack of efficiency. I walked out and ordered my surface pro x from Microsoft. I still like to acually go to a store but they make it impossible. What a world.
Waited an hour to be told that the unlocked phone couldnt be added to my monthly service plan without applying for a Best Buy credit card. There were plenty of people working but they werent friendly and many people waiting without acknowledgment.

I love BB. Dont care about others comments. have not had one bad experience they are accommodating, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately sometimes busy but there is no play sells to go locally that has the electronics and the support that Best Buy does!!

I have always had great experiences at Best Buy. Prices on major items (TVs, computers, printers, phones, etc) are always competitive with the best available anywhere. Customer service has always been great, with no problems on the occasions when Ive had to return something. One of the brick and mortar retailers that really gets it right!

Im afraid for the chain. They seem to be returning to the old days of being a showroom for online shopping... and not a very good one. I was ignored by 5 employees and greeted by one. While checking out and buying an open-box product, the clerk literally took the discounted price tag off the box, set it on the counter next to him, and then tried to charge me full price without batting an eye.Side note: it may be because of COVID, but their shelves were pretty bare. My real guess is that theyve got plenty of product in the back with no supervisor paying attention to the disconnection.
They eventually found the memory I was looking for, had to ask a few employees who directed me to empty display case. Checked secure locker with no joy. Before finding it in unpacked delivery, Online it had them at least since the previous day when I checked for it.
This store is horrible and do not recommend. Geek Squad was pretty good here but there service has slipped significantly. Don’t recommend this location at all. Definitely don’t recommend the Geek Squad support here. Asked to speak to a manager and the rep hung up on me. Do not use this store. Will submit a corporate complaint as well.
Went to drop off a tv that i bought there, it broke, replaced with the same one BOUGHT THERE, and they still want to charge me 25 bucks to take it in for recycle?? I even explained it exactly as such and zero chance on waiving the fee. This place is going from bad to worse, swindlers at its finest. That just might be the last straw on BB. 👎
Wanted to get a booster for our WiFi signal as we cut the cable and have added a Tv in the farthest room from the modem to the load. No one greeted us, but a sales person approached us. We asked for the location of the items and he distractedly took us to the aisle. He immediately made a feeble attempt to talk us out of boosters saying they wouldnt work and most purchases were returned. Accepting that we then asked about solutions he made several suggestions but really never talked about the advantages of any of them. Things like might work, could work, should work. All while scoping the room for a more enticing sales prospect and talking on his comm. Left without making a purchase of any kind. When someone indicates they dont want your business, believe them and find someone who does
Lack of help to be honest. On multiple occasions I went there employees huddle up at the front or back of the warehouse where no one can see them. Not sure what’s happening with leaders. If yall plan on ignoring customers at least stock your shelves. Amazon seems to beat you 100% of the time on price, availability, and convenience.Another thing is lack of product knowledge with employees . Just cause you have a blue shirt dont mean you know more. Thats like me telling a doctor I know more about medicine than they do.I had to teach your employee a thing or two on wireless routers when they had no clue what Dual band and Tri band antenna do. He tried to bs his way and it was a simple question I asked. What is the benefit to me and to be fair I even said if you dont know ask or google. Nope still tried to bs. Embarrassing for best buy and that store.

Employee sold me a phone and specifically said that the Geek Squad Protection plan would completely cover it for any damages that occurred. After cracking the phone screen, I went in and was then told I would have to pay a deductible nearly half the price of the phone for a new one.Terrible terrible service. Please teach your employees not to lie about product protection plans in order to make a sale.
Went to look at appliances. Models we were interested in were not displayed on the floor and no sales member approached us. They do seem to have better prices than others.

I am happy now. Thank you Eric..!!I was very hard for almost 2 months, because of my phone was a sprint on an old Samsung Galaxy note 3, and my daughter phone was an iPhone 6s At&t. So I tried to consolidate it into one account. And I wanted to keep the phone number I used for over 10 years. However, sprint(Now T-mobile), at&t, sams club, and best buy also said that they had to either drop two phone numbers and try a new one, or keep only one number and the other phone a new one. It seems that I went around 8 times in 2 months and inquired about how to keep my phone umber. Everyone was bothered or asked to go somewhere else to find out, or to get a new number. I went to the best buy Matthew store, thinking that I would try one more last time and get a new number if it didnt work. the staff at the counselor and told me to go somewhere else because I couldnt do anything. he was unlike and bothered me. I spoke with him for less than a minute. He was not trying to hear my story, and he was unfriendly.Then I left an went to the best buy blackeney store to buy a new phone and new number. Then I met Eric, an staff there, to talk with, and he said he could keep phone numbers for both phones. And althouth it took a long time(2 hour more than) with the new phone, he tried to do his best to help me. My old phone battery had a problem and it took longer, but he did his best to connect with a new phone even after the store closed at 6pm. . Im keeping my number right now and using a new phone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5 G. Thanks to Eric.!! You are the best employee who knows the customers mind and thinks in the customers position.And thank you for the Blackeney store.!

This is the worst Best Buy I have ever encountered. I placed an order and had my husband as the dedicated pickup person. Someone REMOVED his name from the order. He gets there and some guy named Phillip or Silva or something refused to give it to him after i put his name on the order. They then cancelled half of my order and put the other on hold so I couldnt even cancel the order to get my money back. This is blatant negligence and completely unprofessional.

Couldnt be more disappointed in the lack of effort in returning an unopened Christmas gift by this location. Sit and wait 3 hours or.... dont bother calling the store- they simply dont pick up or Silva will tell you that it is because 51,000 people have been furloughed in other locations. Shopping elsewhere from now on.

This review includes my experience at this location and another one in Columbia, SC, as well as my experience over the phone. My first experience with Best Buy was two years ago when I took my Mac laptop into their Geek Squad for battery issues. I had read on Apple’s website that Best Buy is an authorized retailer for Apple and I decided to go there because the nearest Apple store was over an hour away. When I got to Best Buy, they told me they were going to pack up my laptop and ship it off to Apple because they did not have the capability or parts to fix it in-store. Not sure why Best Buy is an authorized retailer if they don’t have the capability or parts to fix apple products in-store and merely act as a third-party to ship your stuff. I ended up using a local company to fix my battery issues and they were much more efficient and helpful. My second interaction was over the phone with this particular store when I was trying to ask a question about my appointment that same day. It took me 10 minutes to get through the automated menu just to wait on hold for another 3 minutes to speak to someone. Why is speaking to someone in-store not one of the main menu options? Finally, I took my iPhone in for a scheduled battery replacement because the Apple store is less convenient. I scheduled it a day in-advance with my specific request and device. When I got Best Buy, the clerk told me they did not have the part and my options were to go to another location or the Apple store, which I was trying to avoid. Guess I will be going to the Apple store now for all of my Apple products because Best Buy hasn’t been able to help me out with any of my devices.

He was knowledgable without being pushy, and showed us affordable, great options. We love our Samsung 27 curved monitor. Thanks for helping us feel better about eye strain, haha! He deserves some commission for that pleasant experience!

Terrible experience!!! When I first arrived, a worker asked me my name and what I was looking for. He then pointed me in the direction where I could find my item and said someone would be over to help me shortly. When I went over to the product, there was no prices labeled and no one ever came to help me. We asked someone who had a best buy shirt on to help and he said he did not work there and the other workers around him did not try to help either. We looked for other associates but they all were just standing around talking to each other and one employee completely ignored us because of his AirPods. When we got to the register and the cashier began ringing up my products I told him to wait because it was a lot more expensive than I expected. He ignored me and rang them up anyway and then was not happy when I told him to take them off. The price was not the same as posted online and this would’ve been avoided if I had help or if the product was labeled with its price. Will not return.

I am writing this review as I wait for a representative 16 minuets so far, which is un-acceptable in itself:FIRST problem occurred with incorrect info on website, the item I wanted was on sale, and shoed IN STOCK, with one out of box discounted further. So I drove the 28 miles to store, only to fine none in stock or out of box.(I would have just ordered it on line...)On hold now for 20 minuets now ( I am calling from home and cell phone)Second problem, I was to receive an email confirming purchase and giving shipping info. there was no email.And my purchase has not arrived it 2 days late and I can get NO UPDATE!I have had my problems at Best Buy before and I am kicking myself now for giving them another try. 25 minuets on hold now, and when I was in the store 6 days ago there were plenty of employees standing around and I know they have access to phones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont bother to call them on the phone. No one answers the phone at this store. Also, I scheduled a delivery of a product which I bought at the store. It was not delivered and I am unable to find out where it is!
Whats even the point of this place? I walked in ready to drop about $1000 on apple products. Walked out with nothing because, not only did they have nothing i needed in stock of what was displayed, but the shipping was weeks? The death march of best buys. Pointless.

Not much items to review for purchase, unless its a TV. Minimum cameras, stereo equipment, etc. At least have inventory to WOW the customer!I understand logistics and getting delivered next day, yet, I am a hands on person.Employees were cool people.
Worst experience. Daisy was so rude to process the return. She doesnt know how to talk to customer. She didnt even look at full details and right away refused for the return. As matter of fact the delivery was delayed and my return was well within their return policy of 15 days. I hope she doesnt talk like that with every customer otherwise its detrimental for best buy image. I wish all the luck to best buy and hope they improve otherwise itll be very difficult with these kind of associates.
