I had issues with my tire sensors. They offered very competitive rates for the sensors and labor (I will never go back to the dealer). My truck presented unique issues..but Manager Cody assigned Major and Jack, 2 very experienced and knowledgeable guys that explained everything step by step. Making the process comfortable and painless. They simply got it done! This is my new spot. My first impression was a pleasant one.

Bought some VERY expensive TRUCK tires, had them delivered. Not blaming the location for the shipping delays. But once they arrived, and I had my appointment set, they installed said tires.And inflated TRUCK tires to CAR pressure. And told me the TPMS would go off after some driving... No, the tires are literally 55% inflated. The TPMS on my 2018 RAM will NOT go off, and if they had READ THE DISPLAY, the truck literally says the tires are 20+ PSI under inflated.And I saw it just looking at $1600 worth of tire that they were under inflated.I have been to different discount tires, and never had this issue. I expected the truck to be 55psi all around, which is a little high for the back. Not 20+ PSI under, on all 4 tires.

Ive been to many discount tires for a rotation and balance for my tires since I bought it there and never had a problem. Dont get me wrong, their service is amazing but the one time I go and ask for a rotation and balance not even a week later I found out my sensors on all 4 tires needed to be replaced and they want to overcharge me for replacing it knowing it wasnt my fault. Note that, Ive never had any issues with my sensors going bad and needed to be replaced despite going to other discount tires. I happened to be there at the same time as another fellow who bought all 4 new tires and had the same problem with their sensors. Now, I just dont know what to make do of this situation.

This morning I went to drive and found a flat tire! No warning, only a screw to blame it on. So I inflated the tire, went to the closest Discount tire and 30 min later my car was drivable again without having to worry. Not only were they nice, they didnt charge me. Happy.

Great customer service. I had to have a tire repair, fully covered under the warranty. If, I had one complaint; its they are always so busy!!! Of course, when you do great work at awesome prices that is to be expected!

Came in on Saturday had two flat tires (just my luck). Ramon inspected my car with me and ordered my new tires, he was very helpful and friendly I was grateful. I had warranty’s so did not have to come out of pocket for either tires. I came to pick up my car on Monday and Ramon was not there but another guy (didn’t catch his name but white guy with glasses) assisted me and he was very helpful as well and showed me how to reset the system on my car. As a woman I am always iffy about auto shops and feeling intimidated, but this was a good experience. I will be going back if I ever need to. Thank you!

I know it is corporate but Discount Tire is the single best place for tire work. The certificate program is such an amazing savings and I continue to be impressed with their service. Good tire places are hard to find so stick with ones that do you right.

New way to check in. Have to scan to be added to the waiting list. Didnt take long. Friendly and courteous personnel looked at my sons tires and made the proper suggestions.

A simple Air pressure check here can lead to buying new tires.The person said one of my tire had metal stuck in it.I asked him to show me the metal, he found nothing and he acknowledged that.He then said to contact manager there is air leak.My tires are in perfect condition .I filled air in near by shop.Last time for a faulty valve they changed the tire .Never going to this shop in North tryon again.After changing 4 tires all at this store previously.I found there only goal is to replace tires or fix perfectly fine tires over and over again.

I love this place. Ive been coming here for 5 years. Always friendly and understanding. Each member took personal time to acknowledge me and give me a smile. They laughed at my jokes. And did what they could to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

Buying your tires here is great. Its fast its quick and easy. Make an appointment get in and get out.However, if you are making an appointment to get your tires rotated, you have a lower priority than those who are buying tires. I made an appointment and had to wait for two hours, even though I was on time and had an appointment. I brought my son thinking it would be fast, but i was stuck trying to entertain a toddler in discount tire for two hours, rookie move dad, rookie move.. Buckle up tire rotators, its a long ride.

This Discount Tire is awesome. Their customer service is over the top. I spoke with both Ryan and Cody today and with multiple calls (on my end) and not having enough information, they still worked with me and had so much patience. They were so friendly with every call and helped me to know what I should be looking for. Will definitely highly recommend them.

Always so grateful to have my tires checked air put in my tires snd some good advice have been a customer since the business has been errected but ... when you have a long line of cars and someone decides to ask advice on car alignment which you donot provide that service and wait 15 minutes while the person in front of you takes the stage it should be adviced that they seek advice from that specialist. To continue the flow .Gas is expensive to waste so is my time . I asked to to speak to manager who listened and then dismissed my concerns by turning to employee saying your doing a good job. Not very professional at all . REALLY Danny!

Went in for tire rotation for my truck. The lady stated they would rotate the backs and cross them to the front. After leaving, I checked and they did not do that. They basically took the front and moved them to the backs. I knew this bc one tire had a plug and it was still on the same side. Pretty disappointed.

We stopped for air in dually tires. He said we needed tires and wouldnt even check air pressure. We went to a different tire store chain and the tires are fine. He said they were just trying to sale us 1000.00 in tires. Ive dealt with discount for a while now but may make a change for future purchases.

I’m forever a customer here. They try to charge you for as little as possible. I love that! There’s no pressure here. I had to ask if I needed to buy anything. That never happens to me anywhere else in the auto industry. Dakota and Daniel were both so helpful! They didn’t even charge me to fix my flat today which is why I’m coming back next week to buy two more tires from this location.

The staff at this tire shop is AMAZING! When another local shop told me my Dodge 2500 diesel long-bed truck was too long for their rack, I called Discount Tire. Danny told me to bring it in and theyd take care of me. As soon as I arrived, I noticed the efficient check-in process. Kareem greeted me and evaluated my tired. Dakota and the garage staff helped get my tire patched (for free!) and I was in and out quickly. THANK YOU! I will absolutely be back, and will buy tires from your shop for certain when I need them.

My daughter who just recently moved to Charlotte had a tire blowout on the interstate. Which is terrifying to say the least & called me immediately upset and needed my help. I am over 2 1/2 hours away. She called her employer who came and helped get her spare on her car. After I knew she was safe I spent the day researching tires and locations near her. After deciding to replace all 4 tires (yet with this pandemic) various tire dealerships were unable to help. We had used Discount Tire years ago back home; so I located the nearest one to her and made the call. Danny was extremely helpful, their location had 2 and he was able to get 2 more from other location transported over to their store within the day. Then they were able to work her car in that late afternoon. They inspected the rim to verify no damage had been done - as there was NO tire left on it. Then installed all 4 new tires and replace her spare back in the car. IT was a great relief to me since I was not there and they were helpful and respectful to my daughter. They walked her through the entire process and verified everything with her. I understand that most people make appointments. But sometimes emergencies happen and I hope people can understand that - especially if this was your child (yes-even thought she is a grad student) and you felt helpless. Discount Tires on North Tryon are Awesome. Very professional and reasonable in price. GMC wanted to charge $210 for a new tire with sensor. I paid $86 with no new tire and my light went out. Thats the place I will be going to for anything dealing with my tires. Thanks guys!

Visited this location last weekend - what a great location and staff!!Situation context: New tires, metal piece stuck in one tire (already 😒, thanks road construction). I recently moved to CLT and back home used Discount Tires, I wanted to check this location out for future reference.I am EXTREMELY glad I did! From making my appointment online, checking in with Kareem, having my tire looked at by Sam, and sorting out my options with Cody, it was such a great experience. My car and I felt valued, respected and taken care of.I was able to order a new tire and get my existing ones under the certification program; giving me a sense of relief and reducing my worry of this happening again sooner rather than later. (Heart you Cody!!)Lastly, I was able to stay in my car THE ENTIRE TIME for my service (their staff wore masks too). Now of course, in a more complicated situation, I probably would not have been able to do this, but I was thankful that for this one, I could!

Clean shop. I went to get a nail removed and tire patched on my wifes car. They supposedly do free tire patching. When I checked her tire, you could plainly see the nail near the middle of the tread. Tire was never flat. They didnt even attempt to see if it could be repaired, and were asking: Are you willing to buy a new tire? We just cant be sure if the tire is any good now. I worked for Goodyear and am familiar with what ruins a tire. I drove to another shop, they repaired it with no issue.Buyer beware!

Basically threatened to strong arm rob me. Ask for a tire repair and was told if it couldnt be repaired they wouldnt use my spare and I had to buy a new tire because of safety issues before they even looked at it. Took my vehicle elsewhere and a $20 repair with no problems.

Better customer service

A little wait during this time (COVID-19) but worth it. Got my tires and a new tire sensor replace. Great price for all of it. 2015 Chevy Impala Limited was able to stay in my car during service.

Ive had on too many negative customer service experiences. Whether it is long wait times in the past or yesterday when I wasnt very clear what to do with the new check in. I was already anxious about my tire popping, and without clarity the whole experience was miserable. When I was visibly confused, parked in the wrong spot, I was disappointed I had to address the employee and recieved attitude. They seem to pick and choose when they want to exemplify good customer service. Manager did address it, but again one to many bad experiences.

Very fast friendly service and great prices! 4 tired mounted and balanced and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes!

Just went up to this Discount Tire no more then 1 hour ago and they are the worse. Had me and another car waiting. Blasting music and 2 Employees seen us at the check in station (which is a terrible set up) and no one said anything for at least 20 minutes before I left. I wish I was the owner. I would fire at least the 3 who looked and didn’t say anything. Go to another Discount Tire.

Ive been coming here on-and-off for the past 10 years and it has ALWAYS been a pleasant experience. The technicians handle your car with the utmost care, treating it as if its their own. Ive never had to worry about any work theyve done to my car as oppose to the other places Ive been to. Ive seen a lot of the same faces there for 5+ years and this really does reflect in their knowledge, experience and customer service. I typically dont write reviews, but they make it hard not to with their consistency all these years.

I went into discount tire trying to get my tire plugged when I got a nail stuck in it. And when I got there they were very helpful and said that if they were able to fix it that they would do it for free!! It took about 30 mins and they did all that I needed and more and better yet they were able to do it for free. So I am very grateful for there service and recommend going to them for sure.

Got there 40 minutes to close and these guys still got my car knocked out in under an hour. Real professionals that I would trust my Mustang with again. Thanks to the team working there doing a great job even with Covid 19 e.t.c.

Glad I found this place again! Bought tires at the N Tryon location and they behaved like my business was important without being pushy. NTB was trying to get me 225/55 R19s for over $1000! Kareem with Discount Tire explained that with a slightly wider tire I could save money and get more options. So I learned something - the OEM aspect ratio is not set in stone, and more importantly don’t settle. I’m glad I shopped around and found a tire place that I believe gave me a fair deal. My first time buying tires from a Discount Tire. I had an appointment, which we miscommunicated on the time. They were super cool about it, and still able to work me in and get me out, even with finding my tire pressure sensors corroded, all within an hour. They even gave me a great deal on that little surprise. Everyone was kind and friendly. I measure my tread depth from the wrong place when I came home, and they were super cool about my concern and now I was taught how to properly measure tread depth. These are honest people that have earned my future business.

Appointment means nothing. I was waiting for over 30 minutes while listening to the employees telling possible customers If you make an appointment you get pulled right in no matter how busy. Ha! Tell that to me. I had a 11:30 AM appointment and the work was finished at 12:30 PM. It only took them about 15 minutes to rotate my tires. 45 minutes of waiting!

I had a wonderful experience with Discount Tire. I had to buy new tires for my car. I first researched tire deals online. What I liked was the upfront pricing on everything. Other tire stores did not tell how much installation was, stems and valves, tire disposal fee, and balancing would cost. After looking at discount tire online, it was a better deal. I could trust them more because they were upfront about the pricing online. I have been in tire places before and could expect to wait more than 4 hours to replace 4 tires. I went to discount tire, and was greeted by Julius. He was nice and courteous and helped me with my decisions. I waiting comfortably and had a good coffee from a clean coffee maker in a tire store (now that sounds too good to be true but yes it was clean). I had my keys back in my hand in an hour. I was overwhelmed. This was over the best tire store I have ever been too and I will be coming back. I recommend everyone else to check other out but look at the details. Discount Tire is a better deal because they are upfront about their pricing. Other tire stores are not.
