You get what you pay for. I have bought numerous items from Classic Home Showroom. 2 pinball machines and a antique Coke machine. I understood that I was paying a little more that what you might find on-line, BUT what you are getting is well worth the cost. Sadly, there are a lot of less than trustworthy people out there. If you buy a pinball machine, the chances that it works correctly are iffy (especially if you dont know what you are looking for.).I bought an Addams Family and Twilight Zone pinball from Classic Home Showroom. They have been available to come an fix and tweak as needed. (Frankly, you are lucky to get anyone elsewhere to even talk to you on the phone, let alone come to help fix issues.) When I first bought them, they made sure they were working perfectly. Spectacular that they stand behind what they sell. (I have played machines at various stores and gamerooms. NONE are as fun to play as mine that work as the manufacturer intented.)I have bought a second soda machine from a different showroom(as my first one sadly burned in a fire.) Buddy did not have what I was looking for at the time of purchase. It has not worked that well and the proprietor of that business is not available to help. Im on my own.Classic Home Showroom is not only a place that sells unique collectibles, they are also able to help maintain what they helped to restore in the first place. I paid a fair amount and got more than I paid for. Thanks yall. Ill be back when I have more room for fun stuff.Matthew
I had a very bad experience, everything was very expensive and overpriced. The salesman a old man was so rude. No way I will be back there.
I have researched pinball machines for my man cave for well over 6 months, probably closer to a year. Chris at Classic Home Gamerooms was an abundance of help and information. They have a lot of different things for the man cave. Very interesting store.
My cousin ask me to play Riddle School Game on riddleschoolgamecom with him? Does anyone have any comment about this game? Is it worth trying? I dont want to waste time.
Great game room products. Ive been buying stuff from them over the past 15 years. Buddy has been running this business for years and they service every game Ive purchased. Great service Dept and happy Chris is still with you. If youre looking for that rare item for your game room check out their large inventory of video, pinball games, jukeboxs custom neon and a host of rare items.
Great place. They fixed my vintage Pac-Man perfectly, knowledgeably and with great customer service. Then, when I got it home, I had knocked some of the settings out of whack in transport. They invited me to email them photos of the screen and then walked me through the adjustments I needed to make to fix it over the phone. Definitely will continue to deal with these guys anytime I need a game or service for an existing game.
Very fun place to look around. Very helpful staff, they make custom signs too so its pretty cool!
Thank you, for all the help that I received during my last visit to your store. All the staff was very helpful and knowledgable about their products. Buddy, the owner, and all his staff really know their stuff. I have been shopping there for many many years and have been very pleased with the service and products that I have purchased.
Best experience I have ever received. Great people and knowledge on fixing and restoring my previous machine.
Restored classic arcade games and juke boxes.
Smells like cig smoke, couldnt walk around with out Rockstar Ricky telling me his lifestory on who hes played guitar with, cool dude tho
My 2 daughters and I came today to buy 2 arcade games and a pinball machine. Drove 1.5 hours with our trailer and truck. Walked around for awhile waiting for owner to help us. He seemed more interested in shooting the breeze with two other people that didnt appear to be trying to buy items from him. Talking about Texas being the best place to buy arcades because Charlotte was picked over. And how spy hunter arcade was to hard to keep running. Blah blah blah... Owner never once acknowledged us or even looked at us. Did a few more laps waiting. Stood at one of the arcades I came to buy for a few and still nothing. So we left. Terrible customer service. Will never go back. Waste of my day.
Great store and visual display that took me back to my childhood days!!
They have some really cool stuff here and they can repair or build custom neons. I took in two neons that a guy gave me and said they were damaged and no good, I dropped them off and now there as good as new.
Should really be 0 stars. Same experience as the one below, except in our case, the owner ignored us when there was nobody else there??? We also had a trailer in the parking lot, and were ready to furnish an entire basement! Everything in the store says dont touch / dont play / keep off, etc. Its the complete opposite of what you would hope for and expect from a gameroom store. It smells like mothballs and stale cigarettes. The pricing is LUDACRIS for machines in mediocre condition at best. Easily 5-6x what you would pay on any Facebook group site, etc. A Taxi pin I had just passed on the day before from another charlotte local listing at 1600 bucks, was 5500 in this store, and in much worse condition. While I expect a little more at retail, I also expect it to come with some knowledge and friendliness... Forget it. Absolutely attrocious customer service. He seemed annoyed we were even inside the store. Mind boggling! Sadly a great concept, whos ownership is completely out of touch with potential customers and what they want.
