This is my first experience with Modern Impressions.Short version: Finding an organization that will work with a small shop such as mine is a priceless resource. I have been pleased with everyone from the front desk, accounting and IT support. I would recommend this organization to other businesses based on my first interaction and transaction. I look forward to my next transaction.Long version: I am a one man shop that, until now, has been self sufficient for IT and MFC service. I own an elderly Lanier MFC that is primarily used to generate marketing hard copy. Over the years Ive reached out to many companies for service but they have no interest in working with a one man shop. As a Lanier dealer I reached out to Modern Impressions and was pleasantly surprised to hear they would help with updating MFC firmware. I spoke with accounting to set up payment information and again found the conversation to be pleasant. Modern Impressions charges one hour minimum for service which is common practice with most providers. The service call was via Team Viewer remote access and phone as needed. Unfortunately remote firmware update didnt work but we were able to collaborate on a solution where under the guidance of IT I installed the system firmware and IT completed the remaining updates remotely. It is worth noting that I was very comfortable talking and working with IT support which facilitated a successful work around. Scan to file is a critical part of my office workflow and Ive been using a desk top scanner as my work around. Im very thankful for Modern Impressions support in bring the Lanier up to date so I may utilize its full potential. Many Thanks! SEMTEK, llc
