Always answered phone in professional manner. I plan to return as my usual shop - University Tire - has dramatically dropped the ball on service and quality of work.

The gentlemen at Settle were very nice and helpful. They told me up front how long it would be for them to get to my car so I could plan accordingly which was very helpful. My car had a tire that kept going flat and they got to it same day for a very affordable price. Thankful to the shop for making a stressful situation much less so.

Fast service, but was overcharged. I had a starter replaced in my vehicle, and was quoted .5 hours of diagnostic labor and 2.5 hours of labor to do the job. The tech completed the work in less than 1.5 hours. I was still charged the full 2.5 hours of job labor. When I called, I was told that they charge book time to do the job but their techs are so good that they can do the job faster. My position would be that I come to your experienced techs so that they can do the job quickly and, therefore, less expensively. Not sure why Settle gets to pocket the extra hour of labor.

It’s hard to find an honest auto shop but this place is great. They are not trying to take advantage of you and sell things you don’t need. I called in the morning to get 4 new tires, which they didn’t have, but they were able to order them and have them delivered in a few hours. I came by that afternoon and had them installed, with an alignment, in 1-2 hours. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I had a stress-free day with Settle Tire Pros. My sons vehicle would not start. The vehicle needed a new starter. I had the vehicle towed to the shop and within 3 1/2 hours the vehicle was fixed fast and ready for my son once he got out of his last class at UVA. I called the day before to see how I can get a state inspection through them and the person on the phone said that if I was the first person here I would be in and out in less than an hour. I arrived 45 minutes before they opened and they told me that there were 6 ahead of me. I explained what was said on the phone and they said that’s not true. I do not recommend them due to their lack of communication.

I happened to come here because the place I usually go to could not do my wheel alignment that day. I actually really like this place and wish I had discovered it sooner. They had multiple people working on staff. I was helped immediately. Everyone looked happy and in a good mood. Through the watching their interactions while waiting, you can tell they build a good rapport with their customers They were very friendly. The man that helped me kept me updated on the status of my car. I am not the most knowledgeable of cars so he made sure to break everything down to me and was willing to answer all my questions and address my concern. I really liked the feel at this place and plan to come back for future work.

I would say the best thing about Settle tire is theirbedside manner. They are very calm, patient and clear. But theyre also speedy! Settlee tire gets my car in quickly, gives me a ride back to work and gets the work done as fast as they can. They dont advise a lot of extra work on my car that it may not need...since my car is a Ford 2006. I even had a long in-depth conversation with a mechanic about how much work and what kind of work to put into the car before letting it go for good. I trust them. And when I talk to other people they say Settle Tire prices are reasonable. Love these guys!!!!

Out of state so I went with reviews -- sent my UVA son there for new tires on his Nissan Frontier; made an appointment - very courteous and professional in every way; well satisfied.

Got a low tire pressure alert one morning and found a screw in my tire. Called a couple of other places who said they were too busy. When I called Settle, they said “Bring it right by.” The staff was very friendly and prompt. Their shuttle was immediately available and the driver was also very friendly. They had the tire patched within a few hours, at a fraction of the cost I would have paid for a new tire. Very happy with the service, and would definitely recommend them.

I called Settle at around 1:15 pm in the afternoon asking if they could accommodate a state inspection before end of day, because the previous inspection for my 2018 Mazda 3 was two months overdue.They were the only place in town that was able to take me the day of, and performed the service in a prompt manner. From the initial phone call, to the experience upfront, and check-out, the service was extremely friendly and professional. The folks upfront wore masks when interacting with customers, and I enjoyed listening to their conversations and banter while hanging in the lobby.Given that my vehicle has few overall miles, the inspection was straightforward and only cost me $20.I have nothing but good things to say about Settle. Quality service, fair prices! Got 4 new tires and my annual state inspection this morning. Made an appointment through the online portal, super easy. I also took advantage of their free shuttle service. Jackie gave me a lift to work after I dropped off my vehicle. Then, he came back and picked me up once the installation/inspection had been finished! All in all, the tire installation and inspection took about three hours total, which was no big deal to me because I was at work during that time. Overall, very satisfied with the service at Settle Tire Pros!

Noticed a nail in the front tire of wife’s car. We had just purchased a house in town and got recommendation from realtor to take it to Settle’s. Good call. It’s obvious these guys are tire pros. We left the car, their shuttle drove us back to hotel and then from hotel back to shop when car was ready. Courtesy shuttle, no charge. The shop removed the nail, plugged the hole, checked all 4 tires for wear and inflation, and charged us $21. That’s a hell of a good bargain. The Mercedes shop would have charged 4 times that.Remember, your life is riding on your tires. Get it done here.

Greg and team were quite easy to work with. They listened to my complaint regarding my brake issue and also took time to consider several tires best suited for my ‘06 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, based on price and versatility in use and purpose. They fixed my brakes and installed a set of four tires all on the same day.

I have never written a review before but the exceptional service I received necessitates one. I had been looking for a trustworthy mechanic in Charlottesville for awhile before I found Settle. I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation; they were, quick, polite, and extremely fair priced. Then unfortunately a couple of weeks later my alternator needed to be replaced. I called Settle and without an appointment they were able to get my car in an out the same day. Then the next week (I have extremely bad luck), I blew out a tire. Again without a pre-existing appointment they replaced my tire the same day. At this point I think I have interacted with most of the staff and everyone is so polite, professional, and helpful. I will continue to use Settle for as long as I remain in the area. Thank you so much for all your help!

Love the business. Appreciate that Greg came outside, masked to get my tire to repair. However when my husband returned the next day to have the new tire replaced on the car, he waited indoors and reported that service providers did not consistently wear masks indoors.

First time using Settle Tire Pros for new tires...but not the last! I had used another tire dealer in town previously for tires and had a less than satisfactory experience. So even before getting new tires I spoke to the General Manager, Drew, and told him about my less than satisfactory experience with the other dealer and what my expectations were. In talking to him I could tell that excellent customer service was very important to him. After all, there are many places where you can buy tires, so excellent customer service will likely be the differentiator. Based on some specific requirements I had, Drew ended up recommending a set of Michelin Defender tires. I took my car back the next morning and got my tires replaced, an alignment, and the car inspected. I couldnt be more satisfied with the tires...a smooth and quiet ride (unlike my previous tires from the other dealer)! I dont know if the Michelin Defender tire is the right tire for your vehicle, but I would absolutely recommend heading to Settle Tire Pros for your next set of tires and getting their recommendation. Also, Drew offered me a loaner car when they were working on my car. I didnt use it (I ended up walking to a nearby coffee shop), but nice to know that I wasnt stuck at the shop if I did need to get somewhere.

Ist time customer and well be back! I had a fantastic experience at Settle Tire Pros. I called them because usually expect shops to not have my tire size due to the high performance tire and aftermarket wheel application. I didnt wait a week like usual at other places. They had my tires the same day within a few hours. I also had my daughter with me who I usually do not take her because at times waits can be long at other places. They gave her fruit snacks and kept her happy, but didnt need to because i was in and out. Two front tires: mounted, balanced, and out the door at a good price! Thanks guys!!

Great friendly service. They got me right in and took care of my problem. I really appreciated how they made sure I got a good deal on a new tire ensuring that I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg to replace one. Update: I took in my older Honda Odyssey for an oil change/tire rotation. It has always had a vibration issue other places couldn’t figure out. But after these guys rotated, inflated, and aligned my tires it was solved. Tire Pros indeed!

I had lifted my Jeep and wanted to get it aligned. My first choice was Mac at Zion Crossroads (I’ve used them in the past). When they quoted me a price ($30 higher than Settle) and then went on to say if I’m not a certified mechanic (when I told them that I installed the lift) the price could be much higher. I asked why, and he started to name off components that need to be checked that don’t even exist on a Jeep!!At that point I called Settle, which I should have done in the first place. The quoted me a price that was fare, they could see me the next morning, and didn’t blink an eye when I told them I had lifted the Jeep.When I got to Settle, they opened promptly at 7:30. Check in was fast and polite, and within a few minutes my Jeep was on the alignment rack. The mechanic, an older gentleman who’s name escapes me, not only did a great job but talked me through the process of what he was doing (it was like talking to an old friend). He also went out of his way to comment what a good job I did installing the lift.I will use Settle again without question and highly recommend them.

Ive been here once and it was a great experience. It took exactly as long as they said it would and the mechanic who looked at my car explained everything straight forward and timely. I didnt end up needed anything done so they just charged me for an alignment check which was only $45, I was happy to pay that after my experience with them. They really took care of me when my car repairs were more extensive than I was anticipating, working with me to get the cost of repairs down and lending me a loaner car when the car was not finished on Friday so I could still make it to work over the weekend. Wayne was able to order the specific tires I wanted and get them delivered the next day. The whole process took around 4 hours between me dropping off my car and picking it up with the new tires on and wheels aligned. The shuttle service was also very convenient and Jackie was friendly and professional.

Settle Tire is the real deal. They provided upfront quotes/advice and installed my tires with alignment in a quick & professional fashion. They were even slightly cheaper than Costco/Tirerack (although they dont have the built-in road hazard warranty that Costco provides). Definitely going back for any future tire needs.
