Needed to return their equipment as my mom could no longer use it. I walked in, an employee asked what I needed. I said I needed to return some equipment. He said he could handle that. From the time that I walked in to complete and walked out was maybe five minutes. This was good service. Comcast has really improved their customer focus. Good job.

Like many others I wish Xfinity had better customer service available via phone or online, and had better service packages. But this store had plenty of helpful and polite employees, I got my account reset and renewed with a very affordable package within 15 minutes. Definitely recommend visiting the store rather than waiting for hours on the service line. Atleast you get to speak to a human asap so 5 stars for hassle free service.Also Nice ambience of the store, good collection of phones and accessories.

No stars. They are the lowest of the low. Hours spent with workers who have no idea (and are in the Philippines) and cant do more than just reading off a script. They want to send and technician who says their equipment works fine, its your equipment thats at fault. Pox on that shameless company!

Sudden increase in the bill from 55 to 75. When contacted customer care they offered a increased internet speed and provided a 20$ credit for the current month! But this changes nothing!! If you forget to cancel the new plan before 30’days, you will be charged 110$ for cancelling it. Better to find other clear internet options.

This service is terrible it constantly loses service and they charge you double what others charge please look around before you get this service. I will take you 25 minutes to talk with someone. Terrible experience and company. Hope this helps

I was hesitant about this service when I moved to the area as I heard nothing but bad things. My experience was quite the opposite! When I called for an appointment I was greeted with the MOST HELPFUL lady who quickly set me up with my appointment and explained cost. The installer arrived on time and had to install everything from scratch, he was thorough and was an expert at installing everything exactly as I wanted. He made sure the wifi was working and that I was able to use it in other buildings on the property. He took his time in explaining how everything worked... he spent well over three hours at my home. After being on satellite service in my other location I am now paying $100 less a month for service that is ten times better. I am totally satisfied with this service.

Comcast is a joke. The 800 number is a smart idea of Comcast by hiring people all the in India. And when you call them, they are playing with in a nice way! I have been calling them for hours, all they do just transferring your call to one another. It’s so annoying! I remember there were a Comcast employee in Harrisonburg location, so rude, and you’re always unwelcome by them. Now I am glad they are permanently closed. At least I don’t see the rude faces no more!

I am going to return my Xfinity modem today back to this shop, I am using Xfinity internet since from last three years but every year they have increased my internet bill with the same quality of internet service, it is really sad. they run my credit when I was applying for internet which dropped my score and I was so much frustrated with that, :(

A tech came to my house to replace the DVR. When he left, he gathered up old remotes including my Blu-Ray remote. I cannot get a live person in the United, States, much less in this town to speak to. I want you to find my remote or give me money to buy a new Blu-Ray. Cant your tech go look in his truck? I dont want to talk to someone from Pluto. I want a live human being from Charlottesville, VA to go look in the back of his vehicle and return my remote. Get it?

I was told I had to replace my modem due to an internal antenna going bad. Brought it to the store for what should have been a simple exchange. 45 minutes later, still waiting just for them to take the bad modem back. Meanwhile, there’s a guy at the front door of my train traffic, doing nothing because we have all been told to wait outside. This is not an efficient use of manpower...

4 the last 3 or 4 months they have not got my bill right and saying they didnt receive my January bill but my bank statements show they did..I have been with them for 5 years and shouldnt have to go through this..then talking to a few representatives and each one says something different then tell me they would give me a fourteen dollar credit so I only owe 5 hundred and some dollars..its a big waste of time you get no where through contacting and taking to them..So my advice and experience with them go somewhere else.Dont use Comcast

Xfinity in Charlottesville VA has to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Their service is unreliable, and they expect non-technical customers to be able to correct malfunctions with their equipment. Unfortunately, the city doesnt have other cable providers. Maybe its time to switch to satellite.

Good luck trying to reach an actual agent to speak with. Automation isnt everything Xfinity! Before I drive 30+ miles somewhere, I want to know if what I need is available. The automated phone system doesnt have enough options AND doesnt offer to transfer to a store location. All I needed was a quick answer. I pay too much money a month for poor quality phone service.

Today I’ve called Xfinity in the order to find out about possible promotions which can be applied to my plan. Costumer representative Antuan picked up phone. In about 15 minutes my bill was cut off from $74.99 to $59.99 for two years. I have internet Blast UP! And on top of that I’ve gotten flex box for free. Thank you very much Antuan and Xfinity! Thank you for understanding people and their situations and finding reasonable solutions for them. Way to go!

Needing help with an issue, I phoned at least 4 different numbers for help at Comcast. Each one was handled by an electronic voice which was absolutely NO HELP whatsoever. Finally, I was so obnoxious that I wastransferred to a delightful young lady who took care of my problem withmuch grace and expertise. This review is not for the Charlottesville store for XFINITY in general, I have contacted not once, not twice, but three times to upgrade my service, each time I was told that a installer would come to my home, I even inquired as to Covid 19 restrictions if an installer would actually come to my home to install, each time I was assured of this... will its been 4 months and needless to say I STILL DO NOT HAVE UPGRADED SERVICE. I think INFINITY believes it is above customer service and feels it does not need to continue to provide such service. It is unfortunate. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UPGRADE YOUR CABLE!!!! You will only end up frustrated and going to another service.

I needed a cable that I was no longer using to be taken down due to renovation on my house. I was extremely hesitant to go into the Comcast office to get it done because who likes dealing with utility companies? But I was pleasantly surprised. Mike Ingalls in the Lenox Ave. store in Charlottesville was professional, he was honest about when it would happen and he kept in touch with me even weeks after I made the request. He very kindly checked in on my request after weeks of no activity, but because he kept on it, the crew came out and had the cable down before my deadline. Im extremely grateful to Mike and the folks that made this happen.

This place is special. Super special. Like a monkey trying to make sweet love to a football. Pretty sure no one has any idea about what’s going on. Spent 45 minutes waiting even with an appointment. Then I needed to keep questioning and having the guy switch out equipment until we got it right. There’s a reason Comcast has one of if not the worst customer service ratings in the country.

Do not go to this store to try and return something.... Says it is open online. The xfinity chat assistant referred me to this location, and told me it is definitely open. My husband drove to the store and it is closed due to COVID-19.... Most xfinity stores have now opened with necessary precautions. This highly inconvenienced our family as it is expensive driving 45 minutes to get your internet back up and running (trying to work from home.) We don’t have the funds to drive up and down the road when the store did not properly maintain hours online. Highly disappointed in this particular store... I recommend calling and scheduling an appointment to speak to an agent. We were prioritized and immediately given service, but no thanks to this location.

Im honestly torn, here. My experience with this particular location, while limited, is of courteous, professional, competent employees, and a well-laid-out storefront. On the other hand, Comcast as a company is a nest of rabid weasels. I visited this location to cancel my service, expecting a hassle and a hard sell by a retention manager or some such, but it was easy and quick.

Went to store to add a line for my husband, told me my credit wasn’t good enough even though I just upgraded to a iPhone xs plus a week before. They let me upgrade to a 1000$ phone but won’t let my husband get a galaxy s9. Such BS, every agent was rude that l spoke to as if I was a burden when I walked in the store. From greeter to sales rep rude and attitude. I couldn’t even get anyone to help me when looking for cases. 2 employees walked right by me, none asked if I needed help. Not even a Thank You!!! Waited for 1 hour for service. Never Again. This store and employees suck and the positive reviews are probably employees. Way to many negatives with same complaints for those to be legit.

Our cable box died a year ago and we never bothered to get it fixed until the day before the super bowl (again). We went in and were greeted quickly and sent right to the person who could fix it problem. She handled the replacement of it fault box quickly without trying to get us to buy anything. My guard was up and it wasnt even needed.

Horrible. Received new modem in mail. Went to return old modem. DO NOT DO THIS IN PERSON. MAIL IT BACK. I MADE THE MISTAKE OF GIVING THEM THE INFO/paperwork (including PREPAID mailing sticker) and modem UPON ARRIVING TO THE STORE. THEY GAVE ME A SMALL RECEIPT FOR IT. THEM YOU WAIT -going on 25 minutes now-Decided Id just mail it in. Asked for my receipt and modem back. SORRY. ITS BEEN SHREDDED. AND YOU CAN TRY DOING THAT (Mailing it with own label and at your own expense now that the prepaid label was Shredded!) OR USE THE 2x3 inch SCRAP OF PAPER GIVEN WHEN TO YOU WHEN YOU CAME IN THE DOOR AS YOUR RECEIPT AND JUST LEAVE IMODEM WITH US AND GO WITHOUT A REAL RECEIPT AND TRUST US YO CREDIT THE EQUIPMENT PROPERLY. 35 minutes later I left. Real receipt in hand. Tameka was great. Check in girl, not so much. Id give zero stars if I could. MAIL IN OLD EQUIPMENT. At the very least CALL AHEAD TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU HAVE TO COME IN. They said they were short staffed -1 check in person, 2 workers. Line more than doubled in length while I was there.
