This is such an amazing comic store and we are very lucky to have them here in Charlottesville. The staff are super knowledgeable, patient, kind and very helpful with whatever you may need. Special shout out to Anna for being super amazing. Shes the best.

Comic book stores are usually pretty small, but this one isn’t. It’s the largest one that I’ve been to. That’s why it’s easy to get lost (metaphorically) in the many different sections.The sections are: Manga, Marvel, Kids, Clearance/ Used, LGBTQ and more. The Manga section was quite popular. It also had a couple of figurines along with the manga.I like that most of the comics and graphic novels don’t have a plastic cover so that you can flip through them to see if you like it. There are also figures in the front of the store and other merch.This is one of my favorite comic store due to sheer size and organization. One can easily spend a good while here checking out all of the comics and merchandise.

Fantastic store... I go with my kids at least once-twice a month and support our local business owners. They are always nice to my kids, super-knowledgeable and they send you coupons to have you come back all the time! Why would you go anywhere else?

Nicest staff in the world! Their selection is better than some stores Ive been to that are twice their size. Tremendous amount of parking that shares a lot with a shop that has magic cards/board games/minis and painting. Its a nerds one stop shop for all your hobbies!

This is such a great place for hardcore comic lovers and casual readers. The owners/staff are always really friendly and helpful. I went in for a recommendation for a 9 year old girl who liked Dogman, and they had 3 awesome recommendations in my hands in literally seconds. Beyond that, they are really organized and communicative for subscriptions. Their online platform and emails keep me up to date on all my favorites coming out and new things that I will likely enjoy (and they are often right!). It is always fun to look through the well-marked and fairly priced long boxes of back issues. We cannot say enough good things about this place. So please, do yourself a favor, go in and browse or pick something up curbside. They are the best!

At no point should any employee of any establishment address or instruct a child to do anything, unless they are being openly destructive or disruptive.Your employee upset an 8yo girl over a mask. A mask which she was in the process of moving from her chin to her face.We went to the game shop and all she did was pout, because she thought she did something wrong.You should be ashamed

Telegraph is awesome! I live about an hour away from Cville but we try to get to Telegraph any time were in town. They have an awesome selection of comics and lots of great gifts for friends and family. Weve gotten our daughter a bunch of cool things from here. Definitely a great place to check out!

This was my first time visiting and my last. No one greeted me it was impossible to find anything that your looking for. Space is too small I walked around the store no staff bothered to see if I needed any help. You cant tell who works there from the customers unless theres someone behind the counter. Your other location is on the downtown mall. Im not going to drive to the other side of town for a comic book. Id rather have Atlas comics back.

Wow! Such friendly and helpful staff! I took my son in to his first comic book store (partly because he is doing a school project and partly because he wanted his first comic book.) They were really busy but it had zero impact on service. The staff was so in tune with the store they were all helping eachother and assisting customers without skipping a beat. How they had time to help everyone while answering 2,000 question from my 7 year old and moving the check out line so quickly makes me wonder if they dont harness a few super powers of their own. Also they gave my son old comics they have for cutting/crafts to help with his project.We will definitely be back.

My daughter loves manga. previously we were getting her manga from Amazon. this is infinitely better.it is a clean, attractive, large shop filled with well ordered comics, books, manga, posters, and collectibles. the staff know their product, are friendly, and helpful. the pricing is fairmy daughter now prefers to get her manfa here because she can make more informed decisions while looking at them in person vs online or reviews only.I prefer it too because the shop is a local business and it is super important to support local businesses.

Love the shop. Owners are super and they are great at making pertinent suggestions based on age or interests. They have so much more than comics too. Granted everything is comic related but its an incredible selection and they have something for all ages. If you have a comic fan in your family you need to take them in, and if they have already been to the shop this is also a great place to get a gift or gift card. My grandson loves this store.

I drove over an hour only to have to leave within 2 minutes of arriving due to mask complaints from the employees. Pretty upset about it, but i understand its their business, their rules. But i can assure you i wont ever visit again.Edit: i do not live in charlottesville, and i am not used to such mask enforcement. While i am sure the store is a well-run store, and i have visited them before this covid thing started, my review was meant primarily for others who, like myself, refuse to wear masks. If you have no problem with masks, then i’m sure you will enjoy the store.

I went there last Saturday for the first time and very nice merchandise it’s so hard to choose from. And very helpful staff I can’t wait to go there again keep up the great work!

One of the cleanest, in regards to the dust and the kid appropriateness/ PG rating, that I have been in modern times. There was a great selection of books and se other collectibles. There were Teen+ rated books and may have been some mature ones that I didnt see, but they werent out obvious where every little kid would be taking in. So a great place to take your young readers in other words. They are very strict on face coverings though, so make sure you are prepared.

I miss the atmosphere and service of this place when it used to be Atlas comics. Everytime I come in here I am unimpressed with the prices and customer service.

The staff is great, the selection is awesome, the vibe is wonderful. I have been coming to this location for decades under two previous owners and while I enjoyed my time among the nerd ephemera, nothing compares to how it is now. Its welcoming to all kinds and the staff know what they are talking about. The location is easy to get to (and will become even easier in a few months) and I just love the place. If you are just getting into comics, new to town, or you just havent been here in a long time, come back and check it out. These guys are awesome! /end gushing

Its always a treat to come here, one of my absolute favorite places to shop. They have any kind of graphic novel, also some large compendiums and art books!

Telegraph Art & Comics (Uptown 29N) has an expansive catalog of back issues and an even more impressive collection of trade paper backs. But, what separates both Telegraph locations from the bevy of other comic shops that Ive wandered into however, is the owners dedication to organization and accessibility. Whether youre a burgeoning fan of the medium or a longtime reader, Telegraph is the perfect way for any iota of the subculture to buy comics.

Everyone in Cville already knows and loves Telegraph Art & Comics, and I would hope that people also were familiar with Atlas Comics, which was a wonderful old-school comic book store in the Rio Hill Center. Im happy that the owner of Atlas was able to sell his store to Telegraph, and that Telegraph will be in this location for the next few months prior to their new store in the Seminole Square Shopping Center. Do visit them at Rio Hill while theyre there -- lots of great treasures waiting to be discovered in the overstocked space that was once Atlas!
