Scored a sweet electric acoustic guitar from here from an equally sweet sales women. Apologies for spacing on her name but she knew her stuff. Helped us pick out a wonderful case to go with it. Thank you very much, my kids loves the guitar.

Good people but. When they say full functionality is guaranteed on a keyboard. I expect that. One broken key is not right. I need all 88 keys. That’s like selling a guitar with 5 strings. Oh you don’t need the a string. It’s fine. Like. Follow your own policy. This isn’t aimed at anyone individual. But be careful buying a keyboard online you’ve never seen or touched. I’m returning my 87 key keyboard today and will update this review. I do realize I’m getting a refund but it’s the principal.

Who doesnt love visiting Guitar Center!? Looking for an affordable key controller for your DAW? Need good headphones? Need a good audio interface? So many options and possibilities to choose from. I did my homework and knew generally what I needed. The staff was excellent helping to finalize the product choices. Going back to acquire more great products needed in the near future.

They are honest, helpful and the prices are unbelievable. The classes are great for beginners.

Went to the guitar center on Walden Avenue today with my guitar that I bought at a estate sale and Craig checked it out and he was totally honest with me and said I really. Wouldn’t put any money into this guitar so I asked him if he wants it and he said maybe just for parts I told him I appreciate your honesty I am definitely going to go back there and pick out a brand new acoustic guitar that I have my eye. Amazing customer service, very friendly and patient. Wide variety and affordable prices on certain instruments and great used devices. It was a great first time impression, I would recommend anyone who to have a look around the store.

Staff was awesome, very friendly, and informative. Grabbed the kiddos first guitar on sale and the person cashing us out was excited about it and complimented and reassured my son this is going to be one of the coolest things and best choices he will ever make. Thanks to guitar center in Eagan Minnesota, great Yamaha keyboard, new keyboards are so expensive, but this one was very affordable, now I can enjoy music again.

I walked in 20-25 min ago and not ONE employee asked if they could help me. Only 1 customer in store at this time. I was looking for a lot of items for my band and purchased a lot from here in recent years. Dust everywhere including electronics.3-4 Employees more interested in talking amongst themselves then serving customers.Sad sad place for sure.🎶

Came in here early March to buy my first guitar and Steve helped me out super nice dude and showed me everything I needed to start out. He even carried my guitar out to my car! Came in today to buy a strap for that guitar and Steve cashed me out and was super nice again. Great place, shoutout to Steve lol.

My experience with Craig was 5 stars. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and a true craftsman. Guitar Center should move mountains to keep him because he would be snagged up by any guitar shop/manufacturer in the country.The store itself seemed empty. Lots of gaps in the acoustic guitar room and not the selection they usually have. The electric guitar choices were very solid, with plenty of Gibson, Gretsch, Fender ect...When I come back it will be specifically for Craig.

The staff is a super helpful with everything!! They dont want you to purchase the most expensive thing but the best thing that fits for you!! Definitely recommend this store!

Worst guitar tech Ive ever come across. Negative attitude and lack of willingness to help. I returned a new $2500 les paul. One of the saddles was a touch lower than the other 5. You could visually see it, feel it, measure it, hear it buzz and he told me it was perfect, after strongly disagreeing, I said Okay, and turned to the salesman and said I would like to return this guitar, thank you. The salesman looked unhappy with the tech.I never went there again. A beautiful guitar with a minor flaw, but they tried giving me the run around. Its a shame. I wont be back to patronize the store, I bought 3 les Pauls there, almost 4. I always get a hard time when I have to deal with their tech even for the most minor of issues. Good bye Guitar Center. 😞

Didnt care for the guitar lessons,and the staff kept messing up my balance also charged my credit card for lessons l hadnt taking yet,had to have it fixed on 3 different occasions.

What happened? There are probably only 50 guitars in the entire store. There used to be 10x as many instruments in there. Music has definitely changed :(

When you can get an employees attention theyre great! The most recent -Got an email that my online order was ready for pickup so I went and parked in the curbside pickup area and followed the email instructions to let the store know I was there. 15 minutes with no reply I went into the store and stood in front of the registers for another 5 minutes before an employee acknowledged me after playing on their phone with 2 others playing guitars. I let them know I was there for my order and they got it and were awesome and helped me load it into my vehicle and very nice. It just seems to be getting their attention thats a problem. Ive had this issue the 3 times Ive gone in. My husband kinda shrugged and said thats what guitar centers are like but idk Im not very musically inclined so 🤷🏻‍♀️

First visit: Tried to sell a 50W EVH amp head and they offered $100 because “the handle was replaced.”Second visit: Came in to get an amp head fixed after being told they did repairs. Without even turning the damn thing on, they diagnosed it as a blown fuse and said to take it somewhere else.Should have learned the first time.

Went into GC tonight. Guitar needed help. Craig was on top of it. Did a fantastic tune up and had it back to primo in no time. Thanks Craig.

This place is a joke. Sales associates know nothing, they don’t know their own lesson instructors names or schedules and the management here is a mess. Who on earth calls one of their employees at 10:45 on Thanksgiving Eve to “let them go”? No exit interview, no nothing. As a musician and teacher, myself and my household will not shop here (also have a guitarist in my household). Shame on you for treating employees like this in a pandemic!

I love going here. You can spend all day in there and play with the instruments. They also are extremely knowledgeable about everything they sell. You can even get lessons for learning how to play the instruments in there. Plus I really love that my Son Tim Johnson is the Manager of there. Ask for him and he can help you get whatever you want. He knows Music. Tell him Roberta sent you. Whatever you need...any question you may have, he can help you out.

So far so great first day of lessons my son instructor is Mike and he seems very laid-back and eager to teach

I absolutely love the service here I have bought an amazing life like piano keyboard there and also got my husband a green and black acoustic/ electric guitar. If we have any questions they are very knowledgeable about their products or know what exactly they can suggest to help us with any need or problems we may have . My daughter is going to be starting band next year and we are interested in getting her into lessons

Great place with excellent customer service, always has what you want and if they dont, they try to get it for you or find an alternative. Also a great place to jam out when you have 15 minutes to spare! Dont forget about their hold program which is also pretty excellent when you want something but cant afford it immediately. Ive used it a couple times. Lastly their guitar repair specialist is a magician, so if you think it cant be fixed, take it to him before you jump to a conclusion!

So much to see and so much variety. The staff at this location is highly cooperative. They take everything seriously from finding a small Tool sticker, to headphones to beautiful electric bass guitars. Easy parking. Easy to see from the road. Fun place to be.

Guitar Center has a bad rep but for a good reason. A lot of their stock is missing price labels (only so they can surprise you at the counter with a price much higher than expected). This is my second visit in a row where I had to ask for something and without even looking the told me they didnt have it.How about some customer service?From now on Im shopping online for the gear I need. Pricing, customer service, and store condition all leave more to be desired. Obviously management does not have a clue.

He even went a step further and helped us load the car and since it was a large keyboard and small car it was a challenge. Best customer service i have experienced in a very long time. Ordered a amp and cable for pickup little did i know that the orders can take upto 24hours to be cleared for pick up which i was not made aware of. wasted time. only reaso i gave a star is because i had too. Never will i darke thier doorway again.

I spoke with Nate I believe and he was excellent. I stood at the counter a good 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was there but once he did pay attention to me he took care of my needs and explained a few things. When Im ready to upgrade I will specifically call there in advance to make sure he is there.

They had virtually no Ibanez guitars and they tried to charge me $20 to put strings on My guitar.

I would never come back to this place if Craig, their guitar tech wasnt working there.He is honestly the only redeeming quality about this place.When I first walk in, no one is there to greet me or my family. Just people standing around on their phones.Much of their inventory is damaged and not worth playing.I went to go cash out and the person cashing me out gave me a huge attitude because I was bothering him from playing on his phone.I wouldnt shop here if it wasnt one of the only options.

Ordered a keyboard online because it had 3-5 day delivery. Guitar Center never bothered to let me know it was back ordered several weeks. Cancelled that order because they found one at another store in a different state. Said they would call me within 3-5 business days when it arrived. Never called. Need it for a concert at the end of the month. Will never give Guitar Center my business or my school districts business again. Nice guys working there, but untrained and without much business knowledge.

Guitar Center is my go-to brick and mortar store for all things guitar. But they have everything except school band instruments or a bathroom sink. Full luthier services available and tons of new and used stock. Worth the drive.👍👍👍👍

I was in the market for a Native Instruments Maschine MK3 controller and couldnt stump up the cost of a new one, the store in Cheektowaga, NY (I am in Minneapolis, MN) had a used unit that looked like everything that I wanted so I ordered. When it came it was certainly in good condition (what you expect for a second hand unit) but when I tried to register it, I found that the serial number was already in use. Obviously a little upset, I called the store and tried to get it rectified. I spoke to Brandon who is the customer service manager who told me that he would get in touch with Native Instruments to try and get the serial released. Unfortunately he wasnt able to but then discussed with me that he would try and source another used unit from another store for the same price point. Well, I received my 2nd used unit and its even better than the first, came with all the original software, box, cables and seems like its almost brand new! I feel Brandon went above and beyond to help me out and I really appreciate what he did. I dont have many great customer service experiences these days and I very rarely write reviews, but for the small extra wait and the work that Brandon put in, I feel it was worth it. I just wish I was closer to this store now after my experience! Many thanks to Brandon and the GC store in Cheektowaga!

One of the greatest places on earth. The entire store is named for guitars. Staff is sometimes helpful. It gets really busy on Saturday, so try to go during the week.

Super easy! all I had to do was tell the sales guy what I needed and what my budget was and I was in and out so easy. Store is well laid out and so easy to get lost in all the musical equipment!!
