This is one of the nicest and cleanest Stop & Shop stores I’ve been to. Very big and spacious with high ceilings and well lit. Not crowded at all, and everything was fully stocked. All the perishables (meat, produce, baked goods, deli items, seafood, prepared foods) looked fresh. The floors were so clean and shiny, definitely cleaner than many other Stop & Shop stores. Clean bathrooms. This store should be a model for how the other Stop & Shops are run. It’s definitely one of the cleanest!

Store is always clean. Produce looks fresh and carefully displayed. Good gluten free selection. I prefer separate area for gluten free rather than searching for food I can eat. Good prices on their brand products.

Its a great supermarket work organic produce at a reasonable price. Its clean and safe to shop but if you prefer, theres a curbside pickup service.

LOVE the Scanner I can use to bag & tally the total cost of my order WHILE I shop (must be a rewards member)!Checkout was the fastest yet!! Just had to place the handheld Scanner in front of the Instant Checkout machine, pay & DONE!! The Manager, Cashier & Cust Service were friendly &went out of their way to show me how to use it & even show me how to tally items I the Produce Dept.!! Can do your own Price Check as well!! WISH ALL stores had this system!!

Since moving closer to the Chelmsford area, stop and shop has become my home grocery store that. All food and produce are excellent! And MOST staff are wonderful! How ever there was one cashier who was not pleasant. She had a bit of an attitude and was borderline rude. Not going to assume what situation she was in to cause her to behave in such way on the clock, but what ever the reason may be it was not professional. I won’t share her name, but I did begin with a “K”. Other than this one incident, stop and shop is one of the best grocery stores you can go to! Very convenient, affordable, and sanitary. I recommend shopping here!

A fine grocery store, nothing special about it

The store is a bit pricey, in terms of meat selection. Which is more than Market Basket and Hannafords. Also, in terms of beef selection I can never find top-round or bottom roast there, unless you go to the butchers section but that is expensive. One thing that I like is that you get points if you join their rewards program that gives you money off your next purchase. Also, when there are sales at the store they are very good deals. Especially, the soda sales. I always go there when it is on sale. Nothing beats four for four dollars pepsi or five for five coke-cola.

The store has a great selection and the shelves are always stocked. If Dawn, the person bagging groceries, could keep her political theories to herself, I would give this place 5 stars. Ive been forced to listen to her conspiracies on masks, covid, the election and now plastic bags being replaced. I only write today because her quest for plastic was more important than not smashing my vegetables, bread and cracking eggs. Its gotten to the point where Id rather pay more at Shaws than deal with her.

It is a clean facility to visit. The sales are pretty good here.

S & S is always my second choice, love that theyre open one hour later than MB, love theyre butcher shop, great creativity in the meats they concoct with vegetables, easy meals when youre busy, basically put it into the oven 45 minutes later your eating and in the meantime youve gotten a ton of chores accomplished!! The prices are fair, plus you can save on your gas!

I had very bad customer service with KARRY, she was treating me in very bad way, even though I was trying in a nice way explain my self.

Its big more upscale than the average grocery store. Theres a daycare in it.... its pretty decent

I Was in store 8pm Monday September 28, and after picking up 3 items I had to wait in a 20 person line because only 2 registers open I waited 30 min in line.. No one even tried to call another cashier or have front manager hop on register for a few moments to help show good customer service.I live nearby and for years rarely shop here due to the high prices and now also due to no customer service.

Actually, I forgot to mention that the plastic bottle collecting machine gave me a hard time today. It kept kicking back bottle after bottle. It took about 30 min to cash in $3 worth of bottles. Customer service was down, just a tech glitch, but I felt bad for the reps. Good thing Im patient. I do have to say most customers followed the arrows in the aisles. One couple was very snarky when I nicely reminded them they were going the wrong direction.

They have good quality but theyre too expensive.😒

Id like to thank the owner for reaching out. I took a half-star for being out of things Id normally buy (pandemic), and another half-star for bulk purchase sales that require a membership and a bulk purchase (i.e. buy two get two free). I think its reasonable to just list an item for 50% off, and not use customers homes as proxy warehouse storage. Staff are professional and courtesy. Most items are in stock that I need/want, but I have a three year old that goes through phases where he only eats this or that, and occasionally items are out of stock. I like that most naturals and organics arent priced much higher than the regulars. Less pesticides, antibiotics, and artificial growth-hormones are always appreciated with a little one.

I think other stores have better prices overall, but S&S is rarely crowded. So when I need one or two things, thats where I go, especially at dinner time, cause Market Basket is mobbed then.

Me and my boyfriend went and got hoagies that were pre-made and in closed containers. A turkey hoagie, when i got back to my hotel to eat it a dead fly fell out. So nasty. Wont get pre-made food from there again.

A nice variety of vegetarian and vegan items. A few items are higher price than the market basket across the street, but to come here and get the variety of product is worth itAnd some items are very reasonably priced. A positive shopping experience

Love Stop and Shop. Stores are invariably brightly lit, clean, and well stocked. Produce is fresh and most Stop & Shops have great salad bars where you build your own and pay by the weight. One of their best features, though, are the little hand scanners. You bring your own bags, scan everything you drop in, keep an eye on the running total, and then instantly check out when done. All good. Give S&S a try.

Very difficult to walk the area in front of the aisles. Pushing my daughters wheelchair while pulling a cart is challenging. We are forced closer to people than before the rope was put up. Also, its ridiculous to turn in cans and be forced to walk to the other end of the store to get to customer service. Then the one way traffic in the aisles... like we dont get near someone when we walk by? Finally, while I completely understand a no return policy, its pretty silly to not issue rain checks on items not limited to a purchase of 1 or 2.

This store is extremely large with a huge selection of items. Very large selection of organic foods,kosher foods,& produce just about anything you could want you will find here. It is clean and well-maintained. Convenient as far as ample parking, plenty of self checkout as well as regular check out but prices are quite high. Not as competitive as I would have thought considering there is a Market Basket directly across the street.

Prices seem to be higher than Market Basket but they do have some very good deals. Staff is helpful and the store is clean and well stocked.

This is my favorite grocery store. But the items are not limited to groceries, they have hot food, sushi, stationary, seasonals, toys, flowers. You are not required to have a membership, but membership gives a lot of sales. Their app and weekly circular provide digital and paper coupons. Also, their gas point allows easy discounts from Shell. The workers are nice and kind. Compare to other grocery stores, they have more space and less traffic, which means you can enjoy your shopping without being bothered.

Massive stop and shop. Its only worth going to this for shorter lines and specific deals, otherwise you might as well go to the Market Basket across the street (busier, but cheaper across the board). Dont eat seafood or meat, so I dont know how those departments stack up, but their produce is fair and generally good main aisle items

I would like to commend the staff at the Chelmsford St location for their excellent customer service and persistent teamwork. You guys were awesome in assuring I received my order in a timely manner. Last week I had placed a large bulk order for some noodles and I was almost certain I sounded crazy. To my surprise, I received a courtesy call from Sara confirming that my order had arrived. Upon picking them up, I had brought some concerns to her attention and she kindly addressed them. After nearly an hour of checkout performed by Sienna, I was greeted by another associate who helped me wheel it out and load it into my truck. You guys are wonderful and are prime examples of what customer service means. From the minute I placed my order to the minute I drove off, your team assisted me in every way possible. Thank you Sara, Ed, and Sienna along with the rest of the staff for making this a stress free trip. You guys have played a huge role in feeding many families. Keep up the good work and thanks again.

We went last night around 8:45 pm to buy something sweet. We were at the breakfast bread section. The manager was looking at us like we’re going to steal or we’re going to leave without paying. It’s was so uncomfortable. We’re thinking that we are Hispanic people we can’t go to buy to stop and shop store.

They did not have any of the seasonal items that were advertised in the flyer. I was disappointed. The store however is always clean and Ill probably return but you have to pick and choose what you buy here because some items are very overpriced.

Great store

We go out of our way to shop at this store. The fact that they double coupons AND offer gas points really helps to ease our budget. Many of the clerks know us by now, so it is especially nice to walk into a store and have several people say hi and ask how we are.

Never enough cashiers at prime hours (2 today at 4pm - both with lines backed into aisles), empty produce shelves this visit, hard to find help in general... All this and higher prices than nearby Market Basket, which always has at least 10 registers open. Seafood is good selection though, but if it wasnt for the in store Citizens Bank, Id rarely come here. They try to tell you to go to self serve registers but then I think... Why am I paying more than Market Basket to serve myself???

Lots of things but surprisingly little selections in some things. Try plain pickle relish, for example. Lots of sweet relish and sweet relish with artificial sweetener. Lots made spicier. The last three times I went, couldnt find just plain dill relish. Generally ok, though. Bathrooms clean but missing hooks on the door of the stalls. Where are you going to hang your coat?

Big, clean, well organized and stocked Supermarket. The staff is friendly and helpful. I shop there, even though its a little farther than my usual stores because they carry some items I cant get at other stores ( organic and all natural products ). Their produce is very good quality. The store have enough cashiers to keep the lines short. Their prices are slightly above average which are balanced by loss leaders and good sales. There is plenty of parking and its right off Route 3 and 110 for easy access.
