Every question they had the answer to and were extremely accommodating with our crazy schedule to come do walk around and make our final decision. Sea trials and in-water walk through are imperative when buying a new/first boat especially from a new manufacturer and they go above and beyond to ensure everything is in order and you can comfortably and safely operate your new vessel.

Todd could not have been nicer when he discovered our sailboat, with an electrical issue, at his dock when he arrived on Sunday morning. He let us use his electricity to recharge and run tests and offered to open the Marina store if we needed anything. His off-duty mechanic, Joe, did a quick check and they released our lines as we pulled away. Awesome service!!!!

Purchased my first boat from Doug on 25 February. I went and saw him just after the new about a Robalo R222EX that was in stock. He made changes to his schedule so that I could stop by and see the boat. He was incredibly knowledgeable about ALL aspects of the boat and the purchasing process. He took his time to do a complete walk through to discuss the options on the boat then we sat down and discussed financing options. Being as Im in the military, he was also very accommodating to my unpredictable schedule. Once I was back in town, he made the final purchasing process quick and efficient. If I had one criticism, and this is a positive one, is that I wish the dealership had more inventory as they are great salesman and these guys could definitely move more inventory if they had it.

My husband and I were very impressed working with Steve Joyner. Everything was mainly done over the phone ahead of time and it was an easy process. When we went down to see the boat, he had everything ready to go and couldnt be nicer. He explained everything about the boat and showed us around. I would highly recommend working with Steve. I recently took my boat in for a diagnostic on my trim leaking down. I was quoted 120$ for a diagnostic fee. They checked the boat out, told me my trim pump was “shot” $1300 for a new one and the drive needed to be removed to replace it . (Drive does not need to be pulled to replace) While the drive was removed they wanted to replace the gimble and bellows . This boat has 200hrs. They also diagnosed that the power steering cylinder was “shot” and would need a new one . $900 for the part . I asked are they sure it wasn’t a line leaking ? (They said no it was my cylinder) . They quoted me $5500 to do this work. I decided I would come pick the boat up. When I picked the boat up my diagnostic fee was now $250. I ordered the parts they told me were bad off line at the tune of $2200. Upon installation of the steering cylinder I find the lines were loose and were the cause of the leak. Not the cylinder as they claimed . I installed a new trim pump per their “professional “ service technician. SAME PROBLEM. Drive leaked down.. I called Owen and told him this, his response was “ those pumps do that . It’s a internal check valve and it needs a new pump” I took off my trim cylinders and took to a hydraulic shop. Upon inspection there was broken plastic from parts inside the trim cylinders blocking the check balls INSIDE THE CYLINDERS. NOT THE PUMP. It cost me $150 to have these cylinders rebuilt. Which fixed the problem. I asked for a refund on the diagnostic fee, I was told if I brought the boat back and they found they miss diagnosed the problem they would refund my $. After I have spent over 2k on parts that are non refundable it’s kind of a little late for seeing a miss diagnosed problem. These people are crooks, very uneducated when it comes to boat repair, and are very dishonest. I do not recommend taking your boat to them at any time unless you like waisting your hard earned money.

No hight pressure sales like you get in a car dealership. Steve says if you are not in a hurry to buy a boat you can build your boat exactly the way you want it and have it in a few months. So thats exactly what I did. When the boat came in the dealership walked me through the boat, took me out on a sea trail, and helped me get it to of the water on the trailer. Amazing experience!My wife and I had been on the water a bunch of times but never owned our own boat. We decided to purchase our own boat and stopped by several boat dealers. Due to my hectic work schedule, we had to keep changing the date we were supposed to pick up the boat. We started looking at boats a year ago and worked with Steve Joyner. The timing wasnt right and we ended up delaying our purchase. This past June we came back to Centerville and started working with Steve again. He was very patient and was never pushy. He was very personable and a pleasure to work with. Everything went smoothly with our purchase.I waited to write this review after weve spent some time on the boat. Weve had the boat for over a month now and havent had any issues.

We recently purchased a used boat from a private owner. The boat has been and still is stored and maintained by Centerville Marina.This is our first boat and we couldn’t be happier. The staff and owners of the marina are amazing! Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful from day one. We met Kim and Owen the first day we took our boat out, they greeted and welcomed us and shared some information with us on our new “used” boat. Randy, who works in the front store and has helped me to become more familiar with our boat and has answered many questions from cleaning products to waterway information. Todd has helped to build my boating confidence and is always helpful whether he’s casting us off or helping us to dock our boat on return, we are always greeted with a smile! Tom is the head mechanic and has answered questions about boat parts and boat products. You can tell a lot about a business by how they treat the customers and customer service is clearly a top priority at this marina, and that’s something that is not very common in today’s world.I wouldn’t take my boat any other marina!

Steve was amazing, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Educated us on the boat, even offered extensive lessons in the water. I would recommend anyone looking for a boat to go to Centerville Marina and ask for Steve!

We went to Centerville Marina about a year and a half ago. We spoke with Steve about boats, but were still unsure if we were committed. Steve was very patient with us and stayed in contact, never pushing anything on us. He made our experience at Centerville Marina amazing. We were never pressured and Steve took us out on several boats. Finally, we decided to go with the 21 foot Chaparral. Steve even took the time to ensure we were ready to take the boat out on our own. He provided one on one training with my wife and I, always stressing safety, and then let us out on our own. Steve has the patience of a tree, and continues to answer questions we have and assist us when we need. When we are ready to upgrade, it will certainly be at Centerville and we will certainly ask Steve to assist us again. We love our boat. . . I think our kids love it more than we do. I would definitely recommend giving Centerville a chance to meet your expectations as we did. I assure you, you will not be disappointed!

Worked with Steve at Centerville to get set up with a new Robalo. He was very accommodating, answered all my questions and took a good long test run on the boat we were looking at to make sure it was a good fit. After purchase, delivery and boat walk through as well as follow up on our experience was great, despite COVID. Absolutely love our new boat and very happy with our experience at Centerville Marina!

Went to Centerville to look at a Robalo. I was trying to decide what brand of boat to purchase. I had narrowed it down to 2 boats (decided on the Robalo). When I showed up, I met Doug Garner. It was a cold rainy Saturday morning in late December. He was more than happy to walk outside with me and show me the R302 I was interested in. Needless to say he stood out in the cold and rain for over an hour, happily to answer all my questions. Little did I know at that time, I would talk with Doug countless times over the next few months. Well fast forward to last Saturday when I took delivery of my new boat. I recently purchased a 2015 Chapparall 277 SSX from Centerville Waterway Marina. I highly recommend this professional operation.As a relatively new boater- the processes seemed daunting. I had the pleasure of working with Steve Joyner who put my mind at ease through the whole process. Steve is Trustworthy, knowledgeable and personable which made for a great overall experience.Since my purchase- I have been working with Steve on next steps and coordination of delivery. They are trailering the vessel up to Washington DC and doing an in water delivery with a tutorial to get me fully acquainted. First I would like to say that Randy is amazing. Very helpful answering questions and getting my service scheduled. I have taken a couple of different boats to these guys over the last couple of years and have been overall pleased. The sales staff at Centerville Marina is just outstanding - we dealt with Steve and Todd and they were both great. It was our 3rd boat shopping stop and easily the farthest away from home. Went there just to look at Chaparrel boats and quickly realized we had to buy from Centerville. It was the only place we went where they seemed genuinely interested in helping us get started, not just selling us a boat. Bought a few days ago and theyve already logged hours with us for in-boat training (more tomorrow). Hopefully the service department is just as good!

Last year we purchased a 2019 Robalo Cayman 246SD with the help of Steve. We ordered the boat to have the options we wanted and the boat arrived on time as promised. We looked at many boats and Steve was very helpful with suggestions and knowledge of all the boats. You could tell he knew his stuff and he helped us get the boat of our dreams. We had a few minor things that needed to be addressed after about 2 months of ownership and Centerville Marina took care of it all in a timely manor. Dealing with Steve Joyner has been a very frustrating experience. While a very pleasant individual he has proven to be unreliable. He is either not there or un available. He has not followed up on his statements to me as it applies to communications with him. Others may have had good results with him, i have not. I would not recommend business with this company. I can not comment on the quality of their work as i have been unable to experience their work product.A month later and delivery of the boat i have been proven wrong and must apologize to Steve and the marina, they did an outstanding job. I couldn’t be more pleased

Steve Joyner is one of the nicest and most honest people Ive had the chance to know. He was truly concerned about our satisfaction and made sure that we had the training to boat safely. I would give six stars if possible because thats how satisfied my family and I are. Everyone we came into contact with was equally nice and Kim was a joy to meet.

I had a great experience in buying a boat from Centerville Marina. I had been looking for a year...and was having issues with finding a wakeboard boat that met my specs, was competitively priced (most were overpriced), and had a customer service focused team. I really wanted to but from my local marina, but they were pushing boats that weren’t close to what I wanted...but what they had to sell. I narrowed down the boat, and then who was selling it. Centerville was amazing. Steve responded quickly and was fantastic through the process. When I arrived for the test drive, I found the boat in spectacular condition...sparkling and ready! (It was tempting to look at others with the huge inventory they have). Everyone at the marina sales office was friendly, authentic and deeply knowledgeable. The price? It wasn’t “a deal” but it was market competitive and fair. I highly recommend Centerville marina. They were heads and tails above anyone else! A lot of knowledge, integrity and customer focus!

Centerville Marina was highly recommended to us by friends. My husband and I dropped our boat off for annual maintenance before we stat boating again and I was thoroughly happy with the results! The service manager, I think it was Owen or Randy, was very helpful and communicative about when the boat would be done and what needed to be completed. Fairly priced! My husband and I will be returning whenever we need maintenance on our boat!!
