Planning a wedding during Covid was not fun - so many aspects of the experience had to be forsaken - things like shopping for a wedding dress with your bridesmaids - things most brides take for granted. Avenir Bridal knew the special challenges that faced my daughter as she set out planning her wedding - and from the moment we walked into the boutique - they went over and above to ensure she had the absolute best experience ever. From the pure excitement they greeted her with, showing her that they were every bit as excited about her day as anyone could be, greeting her more like an old friend than a customer through picking up the dress and LITERALLY jumping for joy with her - we simply could not have asked for a more personal and amazing experience ... their selection was amazing, and they truly listened to the vision my daughter had for her day - and then magically brought it to life. I simply cannot recommend Avenir and Amanda enough - they truly turned what could have been such a sad experience into one that was beyond perfect!

I absolutely loved it here! I walked in a little nervous due to my being shy and not really know what I wanted. From the time I made the appointment online to even after my appointment, Amanda, who assisted me was just wonderful. I felt so welcomed. She helped me find the style I was looking for and loved, and let me and my family pick out some while she did the same. We had the entire store to ourselves and it was just nice to be able to experience this with my family without many people around. She made me feel comfortable and happy, which for someone who is shy, is hard for me to feel that way with someone I just met. She listened to what I liked and disliked about each dress and narrowed down to a style I loved to make my choice easier. The dresses are also very affordable and stunning. I cant not wait to go back for my alterations and see my dress again. I highly highly recommend Avenir to anyone. They truly are amazing.

Avenir bridal is an incredible EXPERIENCE! Even though I did not end up finding my dress there, they had so many amazing options and designers to choose from. I did hours of research and this boutique by far had one of the BEST selections in the greater tidewater area and HANDS DOWN had THE BEST SERVICE!!! This was the perfect place! I had the best experience with Amanda. She made me feel beautiful and was so supportive. I had previously went to a David’s Bridal, and it was like plain white bread compared to this place. They had such a welcoming, kind and fun vibe. Avenir Bridal was the first bridal shop I’ve stepped foot in. I came alone so I could have less interference of opinions. Instantly, Amanda made me feel so welcomed. She was super knowledgeable about plus size gowns and brought me such beautiful options, that it was hard to choose. The ladies here are super pleasant and patient. It was the greatest ambiance to have when finding the perfect dress. Avenir was my one stop shop for finding my dream gown and veil.

Felt like a princess and was able to find THE dress in my price range. Highly recommended. Staff is so friendly, helpful, and professional. You can tell these ladies truly love what they do.

If you want a perfect bridal experience you need to go to Avenir Bridal! Amanda is so friendly and willing to do anything to make sure you are happy! Anzen is the seamstress and I just had my alterations appointment and she made it so enjoyable and easy! Not to mention the variety of their dresses you are going to find one you love! I cannot recommend them enough!

They were very welcoming at Avenir! I worked with Tori and she really knew her stuff! She made me feel comfortable, had some dresses ready for me to try that we had mentioned on the phone, and gave suggestions about alterations. I was able to find a great deal on a leftover sample dress, and Tori and Amanda were so pumped up and happy with us! They also found me a nice headpiece instead of a veil.

The best experience I’ve ever had at a bridal store! The atmosphere was lovely, the ladies were so kind and helpful, and they made it such a fun experience. Some bridal stores are stuffy and rude, it was nothing like that here, if you are looking for a fun and special experience while finding your dream dress, this is your place!

My experience at Avenir Bridal Boutique was absolutely amazing! Amanda contacted me prior to my appointment to determine my desired gown style and had a few gowns waiting for my when I arrived. Surprisingly enough, the first gown I tried on was the one I chose. Amandas patience, assistance, witty sense of humor and glowing personality made my visit a positively memorable experience!

Any time I called the phone was answered promptly, any time I emailed I received a response in less than 24 hours. I had the dream experience at my first try on appointment even with the pandemic in full swing. Amanda remembered my name and style preferences every time we spoke and she went out of her way to make sure I found a dress I loved. I went to many local bridal shops and by far this was the absolute best.

Avenir Bridal was fantastic! Amanda was the only person to answer the phone on NYE of all the Bridal stores I called. I was nervous because I needed a dress in 2 months! When I got there she had dresses all pulled of the style I was looking for and the second was a winner right off the rack and I was good to go! I definitely recommend!
