The manager Karen went above and beyond in her attention to my needs and worked with me to find what would work best. Utlimately decided against purchasing at this time, and she was very respectful of my reasons. Will definitely return for future products.

One hand does not know what the other is doing. after a week of run around and being told a part would be brought from another store, no part, no call and now after a conversation with a very rude almost the owner Controller I am told to it will take a week to get in the part after 4 stores said they could get it by Fri. I could maybe wait ANOTHER WEEK but after being treated like I was by the almost owner (whatever that means) I have my reservations about the whole ordeal. Individual managers have been helpful but seem to have no communications with the controller that orders things. Sad but they used to be a decent company. As a Customer Service Manager I find the way I was spoken to and laughed at and her skirting my questions was unprofessional and at the least very rude. almost owner ???? I gave 1 star because you have to to post

Took my machine in for a repair was told they would call me the next morning with a diagnosis and cost to fix. After waiting two days for that call I called them the repair was done (which was nice) however I didnt give my approval. I asked to have another issue looked at while they had the machine. Was again told they would look at it and would get a call in the morning. Again no return call. When I called back two days later and asked about my machine I was told it was ready and I asked why no return call I was ignored, no apology. Then I had a friend pick it up and my cover wasnt returned. Again I call, they cant find it and again no apology. I was told they would call corporate to see how to handle it and they would call me in the morning. That was a week ago and Im still waiting on a return call. I guess their phone cant make outgoing calls.

I brought my Dyson vacuum cleaner for repair to their Battlefield location. The technician was able to evaluate it on the spot, diagnosed a clog on one of the hoses at the bottom, fixed it and then he declined payment.I also showed him another smaller, older unit that was also malfunctioning. He estimated the cost of repairing this one would be more than it was worth so I did not pursue it.Honest, knowledgeable and prompt. Great service.

The education, scheduling and communication is terrible. One example is the Summer Sizzler class schedules are sometimes published online and the public is not always aware of this. Then when you go to one of their open house events,to register for a class you desire to take, some of the classes are already full. The examples of the projects you will be learning to make are not always on display, which makes the decision to sign up for projects a hard one.You are also told you can register online and then sometimes the web pages arent even up yet. They arent even accessible to the customer service representative at the stores yet. I have even signed up for one of their free sew days at another TSV locations and did this online. I printed out my transaction receipt, along with the posted calendar and then when I arrived for my day of sewing, the calendar had been changed and no one notified me. The calendar had been switched .I was told there wasnt a free sewday scheduled. Be prepared to stand in long lines at the first day of open house. The transactions take such a long time to happen. All items are individually typed into the cash register and are not even scanned. Just updating their transaction programs would at least save everyone time, not to mention ink and the long print outs of wasted paper.Messages are not always relayed regarding orders or products that have already been paid for or picked up.Another concern and this is not only my observation, one of the managers is coughing almost all the time. If that isnt happening he is sniffling or clearing his throat. Several of the ladies in one of the classes stated, they wished someone in management would do something about this health issue out of concern for the public.Sitting in a room trying to enjoy time doing projects with friends is not very pleasant to experience for hours at a time.Comments are also being made of not doing classes at a couple of TSV locations because of these issues not being reguarded as a concern of the management. I know the exact thoughts are not new to me as well. With these management issues being considered,I still have received awesome customer service and teaching from Don and Debbie Strahan at the Great Bridge TSV.Have you experienced some of these concerns at any of the TSV locations? Am I the only one?

They went above and beyond to find a replacement needle plate for my outdated machine. I looked everywhere, even ebay. I thought I was doomed to retire my embroidery machine to being a big paper weight. The time and effort it took them to help me was A++ customer service. I highly recommend this shop.

The workers are extremely arrogant and rude. I came in with my vacuum and they just tried to force me to buy a new vacuum. When I finally got a quote on the repair the desk clerk demanded I pay in full before I hand in my vacuum.I have called this place on 4 seperate occasions to hopefully get someone who shows some decency but they were all just as bad as the other.Waste of time, they are not worth giving business to

I drove 2 hours to shop here because I thought from looking on line that they had a good selection. I researched quite a few brands and machines and narrowed it down to 4. They were all in stock but nothing is set up to sew! It seemed really inconvenient to actually use one. The salesperson was knowledgeable but seemed put out that I wanted to try one. No foot pedals were available. She said they just use the push button. She didn’t really demonstrate, just told me to go ahead and use it. So maybe this was low pressure sales—definitely not high pressure. So I bought one and so far I’m happy with it, but I didn’t even try the others. It seemed too inconvenient. I did have a pretty generous budget and by not trying the others, I spent only half of what I planned! Also, I realized later, I had hoped to get some fabric and other accessories, but they didn’t even suggest add ons. So this was definitely not a high pressure sales experience, which I would usually appreciate, but if you don’t know what you’re looking for, you need to do some research first and be more aggressive than I was in getting information and product. I came home and ordered supplies and accessories on line—which I normally don’t do as I like to support actual stores.
