Highly recommend After Hours Heating & Cooling for their professional knowledge. I have used Brian for my HVAC maintenance for a couple years now. He is always fair in his prices and has helped me troubleshoot issues before determining if any technical actions are necessary. Morad is also a friendly and hard-working technician who explains the various tools and methods he uses when diagnosing issues.My only gripe is that Connie is no longer the receptionist as she was always personable, sweet, and scheduling an appointment was a breeze. With receptionist Mary booking an appointment can only be done the immediate week as there is only one week in a month. Requested an appointment after a specific DAY and the response was short of, you asked, I gave, you declined, dont complain. Situation could have been handled more professionally without belittling a long time customer. Only after I requested did the receptionist even think to look at the subsequent weeks calendar for openings. Definitely will be contacting Brian directly from now on for any possible appointment scheduling.

Top notch service from estimate to install. Brian was extremely professional and knowledgable helping us troubleshoot the most economical and efficient way to cool our oddly shaped upstairs (Tudor home). We were so happy with the service we had them come back to add a split unit in our FROG. Mary was very helpful and expedient with communicating estimates and scheduling install dates for both units. THE BEST!!!I first discovered this company when I was far away on vacation and had to repair my evaporator coil back home that sprung a leak suddenly. Our House-Sitter let us know something wasn’t right with our AC. After Hours Heating and Cooling fixed it quickly and did a great job! I didn’t even need to leave my vacation early since they did such an outstanding job. I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of my vacation with my family. Very pleased then...and now I wanted a new system and they installed it. So very happy with this too!!! Brian and team do such a great job and are very affordable. He also takes care of the maintenance and anything we may need. They respond quickly and are honest and trustworthy. I recommend them to everyone !

We used After Hours off an on for a few years now and when my system went down for good we decided to use them to install our new system. They sent out Brian who had worked on our old system a few times. He is very knowledgeable in his field and most importantly HONEST. He didn’t sugar coat anything and for that I am grateful. Was having A/C issues where it was running and slightly cooling but not quite well and cold enough. After hours technician Dillon came out on a Saturday to check out our system and got our place cooling down within an hour. He was on time, professional, courteous, and very easy to talk to. He quickly diagnosed our potential issues and explained the options to remedy our issue. Didn’t try to push or pressure for upsales, but did go over options and estimates if we end up looking at a new system when it’s time. Just seemed like a real honest dude which I really appreciate. I think most of us hope to find honest technicians and mechanics when needing to get service that we have limited knowledge base on and that’s how I felt about the HVAC service I received today. He even caught the bad end of some nasty sludgy water from our exterior drain which I felt bad about but he trucked on and continued diagnosing the system. Excellent service overall and I’d recommend and use them again.

The best in heating and cooling. I had a weird noise coming from fan motor on furnace. Only to find out a bird had traveled a long ways to become lodged in the fan motor. They got me back up in running once removed.

I had to select all services because I first started out with After Hours Heating and Cooling about 18 months ago when I first purchased my condo. My AC unit became an issue the summer that I moved into my condo. To make a long story short, After Hours was very accommodating and professional and has been so ever since! I am huge on great customer service and I experience that every time I call to speak with Connie and here lately, Mary. And trust me, I have called a lot before replacing my unit! Fast forward, I had my entire HVAC unit replaced April 6, 2021. For a one income home, the quality and pricing worked in my favor as well. I had two other quotes before hiring After Hours to do the job! Mary did an awesome job of getting everything scheduled, Brian came out and took his time to explain everything to me, and the technicians were just amazing as they spent about six hours in my home. I have struggled with heating and cooling issues the entire time Ive owned my home. Had to replace the entire system years ago and even then it was inefficient.I called After Hours a few days ago when my AC would not cool. They fixed it. Then when the temperatures dropped a few days later the heat wouldnt work. They came right back within a few hours and fixed what has been hindering my system for years. Brian, the technician, was relentless. He was thorough and was not satisfied just fixing the symptoms. He dove right in and checked everything and fixed what needed to be fixed. All of this for hundreds less than One Hour was trying to charge me (and that was for far less services from them).Bottom line is that I dont normally leave reviews, good or bad. I was so satisfied with the service, the technician and everything else down to their phone operator. Its hard to find a business like this now a days. They literally but their customers before anything else and it shows. Give them your business. You wont regret it!

This is the first time I used them but will definitely be using them from now on. It isn’t just because of the wonderful service and caring attitude ( Which I appreciated greatly) that sold me. It is also the fact they are honest!When I called, I explained that I was almost 100% sure I needed a new thermostat. However, when the technician came out and inspected it he let me know that thermostat just needed to be tightened up. That in itself speaks volume. He could have replaced it just to make the money and took advantage of me not knowing. Instead he was honest! I only needed Freon. Now it is working perfectly, Nice, and cool.

Called due to A/C blowing out hot air. Came out same day and installed new thermostat. When the technician left, A/C was working well. The next day A/C was blowing hot air again, technician came out again to fix wiring twice with no additional charges. After Hours Heating & Cooling sent a technician to fix my Goodman Furnace/Air condition Package unit. Connie (the woman I spoke with to schedule the repair) was courteous and flexible with my schedule to get someone out when it was convenient for me. Morad was an outstanding technician, showed up on time, and very honest. He quickly assessed the issue to be a inducer motor because the freewheeling blades were binding. He went to pick up the part, returned, replaced it within minutes, and my heat fired up immediately. Great Job! I would recommend this company to all my neighbors and friends.

I wrote this review on Yelp on 3/21/17 and also wanted to add it to Google: With temps expected to be in the 20s - my heat went out on a Friday evening after 5 pm - lovely. So, based on the previous reviews I called this place. Long story short, Brian came out around 9 pm and thoroughly checked out the unit. You can always tell if someone knows what theyre doing and I can attest that he does. It turned out to be the circuit board (which is a known problem with some Goodman models). I would call this place not only for emergency repairs but, repairs in general. The price was fair and the service is excellent. Dont let the name fool you - I would call for any heating and a/c issues whether its installs or repairs. I am thankful for the previous reviews so, I thought I should also write one. Thanks for your help

As always Brian was polite, professional and prompt. He once again has gotten us out of a bind and kept us from freezing all night. We highly recommend Brian and the After-Hours company, theyre always friendly and professional. Brian has been here four times over the past several years and has always taken excellent care of us, & has never done us wrong. All of the services they have done for us have cost less than any competitor we could find. Frankly we dont even bother comparison shopping anymore because we know that theyre going to give us the best price.You know HVAC technicians are always busy on the hottest days and the coldest nights. I called Brian to tell him that our system just failed and he showed up within an hour of my call. Thats amazing when its below freezing outside late at night!They have always done is right, they charge very reasonable rates and show up late at night when it is below freezing on an hours notice

You can stop Google’n and just call After Hours!! When I called to try and schedule a technician for the following day Ms. Connie took the time ask a couple questions and was able to get a tech to my house that evening. Come to find out the tech squeezed me in on his way home after a long day. To me that speaks volumes for this companies work ethics. Mr. Brian arrived exactly when he said he would and had the issue diagnosed within 10 minutes. I’m pretty sure it took longer to answer the handful of questions I had than fix my A/C. There is no doubt I will be using this company for not only unexpected repairs but yearly maintenance.

We had a great experience with After Hours Heating and Cooling. They put in HVAC at my elderly mothers house, and did it very quickly since it was mid summer and super hot! They are VERY reasonably priced and go abouve and beyond. They also put in water heater at our house. All Of the technicians are awesome!!! Have used this company numerous times over the past few years always having friendly pleasant interactions with the technicians (Chris, Brian, Morad) and also Connie who takes the calls and dispatches the technicians. A+ customer service, work and pricing. I live in Virginia Beach and they always come from Chesapeake to my house quickly and get the job done. Will always use and is my go to company for any HVAC needs. I highly recommend them, all around good business practiced by this company. The tech was very knowledgable and quick with his work. They do not charge an arm for the diagnostic and repair and will attempt to fix on the spot. Another place tried to charge me 300 just for a leak check while this place only charged 65. Total bill was 500 to fix leak and refill refrigerant, while the other place may be 900.

I found After Hours Heating & Cooling on Angies list and selected Brian (owner) to repair my a/c unit. He does not advertise on TV or radio and doesnt offer silly advertisements but, if you find him, you will be a customer for life like me! I am not related to Brian nor have I never met him before today. The other reviews are completely accurate about Brian. His service is outstanding. His prices are fair. He cares about his customers. He has a tireless work ethic. He is a man of faith. Here is my story. I decided to contact Brian for a second quote after another company quoted me a price of $1,600 for parts and labor to replace my inside evaporator coil of my Lennox a/c system. I called Connie (Office Manager) this morning and she assured me Brian would come to my home today! When Brian showed up at my house, he was polite, put booties on inside my home, and explained the service costs up front for my approval prior to troubleshooting the issue with my a/c. Here is the bottom line so read this closely. BRIAN COMPLETED THE A/C REPAIR; HOWEVER, THE ISSUE WAS NOT A LEAKING EVAPORATOR COIL THAT THE OTHER COMPANY QUOTED ME BECAUSE BRIAN FOUND A LEAK IN THE OUTSIDE LINE! BRIAN SAVED ME $1,100 AND FIXED THE REAL PROBLEM WHILE THE OTHER COMPANY TRIED TO RIP ME OFF EVEN THOUGH THE OTHER COMPANY CLAIMS TO BE THE OLDEST OPERATING HVAC COMPANY IN HAMPTON ROADS! I AM SO THANKFUL THAT I HAVE CHOSEN AFTER HOURS HEATING & COOLING LLC FOR ALL OF MY FUTURE HEATING AND COOLING SERVICES! YOU SHOULD TRY THEM TOO BECAUSE YOU WONT REGRET IT!

I would lìke to share my experience with After Hours Heating & Cooling. One year ago our old AC unit went down. We did researchers for companies who are providing AC services, received about 5 estimates from different places. Prices were way out of our budget at this moment. I was lost.... stressed. I am glad I found After Hours Heating & Cooling. Brian Overton is the owner of the company who cares about his clients and their needs. My husband made decision by following Brians recomindation about the unit. His team installed the unit in a couple hours (we were not even home during the installation process, because of our work schedule), then I received the phone call that everything is done!!!! EASY!!!! The After Hours team installed the new AC nest for free!!! We saved $3500 with After Hours Heating & Cooling compared to other offers from different companies. Could not speak more highly of them. Woke up during a cold week to find my heat completely dead. Despite many other having the same problem they were able to get someone out to me that day. The technician quickly identified the problem. He was able to point it out, walk me through the solution and talked to me about potential for follow-up depending on how the fix performed.Felt like the markup and service cost for a visit was very reasonable for the work done. Would definitely use them again.

The gentleman came out and gave us an all clear and everything is in excellent condition with our system service. But, the very next day a friend check the system to which it was 1/2 pound low of feon and a week later the compressor went out! Not impressed!!!$160.00 down the tube!!!
