We purchased a van from out of state. Both women I dealt with were pleasant to work with and consistently courteous. They were helpful with every aspect from letting us know how to deal with long distance paperwork and payment issues to checking the vehicle for cigarette smoke smell. Great customer service and very friendly people. I drove 4 hours to this dealer because they were the only place that multiple vehicles that fit my criteria. The owner was the one that help me, she was great but unable to discount me $150 for MD tags. I mention her that I have a small HVAC business and that I would be buying more in the future, it did not make a difference to her.She told me that she already has discounted me $250 because the van was not detail. Why should I have paid $250 if the van was not detail, thats not a discount. I hope Vans of Great Bridge keeps doing well and gaining more customers but also listen and help their customers. I dont think I will be coming back not becase of distance but because of how she denied to help me with $150. If you leave near by I do recommend this business.

Its a long story, but I will not be buying a van from this place or referring anyone to them. Poor customer service, not willing to negotiate, took their time with the approval process and I missed out on a van. However, I am glad I did not buy the van because it was way more than Kelly Blue Book. The vans are priced so you will be upside down as soon as you buy it. I found a dealership who actually cares about their customers and was willing to negotiate and treated me with priority, unlike this dealership. It took them 4 hours just to run my credit and then another hour and half to call me with follow up information. They not act with a sense of urgency. Tammy was the contact for this situation.

3 months of searching for a Ford Transit van could have been saved if I had gone to Vans of Great Bridge first! What an incredible experience and a fantastic van! Tammy was awesome during the entire experience. From my first inquiry and throughout the entire process Tammy promptly returned every email and phone call. After driving 3 hours I was warmly greeted by everyone at VGB and received personal treatment that isn’t common nowadays. Justin was a pleasure to deal with as well on my trade in and gave me a generous amount of his time explaining details about he van I was purchasing. I contacted Vans of Great Bridge Sunday evening 8/25/18 in regard to a van I stumbled across while looking for Honda Odysseys. Tammy immediately contacted me Monday morning. She was extremely helpful and took all of my information. That evening I went and checked out the van and was able to test drive it. Since the team at Vans of Great Bridge had already assisted me in the loan approval process, I was able to drive my new van home that evening. I purchased a 2018 Honda Odyssey with low mileage at a great price. I would not hesitate to look here again in the future. Its nice to know there are honest hard working small businesses that still offer fair prices and are extremely helpful.

I had an excellent experience at Vans of Great Bridge. I had been shopping on their website for years prior to purchasing a van there. They have a no haggle pricing style which means the price is what you pay. I had no problem with this since I thought their prices were very reasonable (I had comparison shopped for a long, long time). The staff were friendly and helpful and I got a great vehicle. After going to several car dealerships in need of a family van, we were referred to Vans of Great Bridge by a friend in the summer of 2015. Amazingly easy experience. We were not harassed and followed around by commission hungry sales people; instead we were able to look around the lot at our own pace. Once we decided on a particular van, we were given the key and invited to take a good test drive - in fact we were encouraged to take it on and off the bypass and to try out all the features; again at our own pace. The actual purchase was just as relaxed and easy as the test drive! Almost one year later, one of the new (when purchased) tires was punctured. Since the tires were still under warranty, we simply called up Vans of Great Bridge and they quickly and kindly handled the replacement. I flew all the way from Texas to buy a passenger van from them, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. They picked me up from the airport, took great care of me, and were super easy to work with. About a month later, I had a serious problem with the motorcycle stemming from the previous owner. I called Vans and explained the situation, they told me to send them the invoices for the repair. After the repairs were complete and they got the documentation, they sent me a check for the total price of the repairs, no questions asked. Had a great experience with the purchase of our Suburban. We called asking for more information on the vehicle before traveling a few hours to come see it. We were emailed very detailed video and pics of the car. We felt very confident in driving to Chesapeake knowing this was the vehicle for us. We were allowed to test drive it without an associate tagging along (very rare in our experience). They were able to take care of the financing, insurance and DMV, so that we drive it home. Everyone in the office was so friendly and helpful!

Overall it was a great experience. At first, I wasnt sure about their no haggle pricing. They really mean no haggle.. at all. But in the end, it was truly fair for all parties, and everyone walked away very happy. I am very impressed with my new van, and know exactly where I will go when and if I ever need another one! A registered Virginia auto dealer (who also happens to be a personal friend of mine) made an agreement with Vans of Great Bridge to buy wholesale a van, which he was then going to retail to me for my business. He finds vans all the time for me from other dealers that I use as delivery vehicles in my small business.Everything went smoothly: we received a faxed copy of the mileage statement, which also stated the agreed-upon wholesale selling price. The dealer proceeded to try to purchase the vehicle wholesale, but the Vans of Great Bridge owner (I assume thats who this was, but could be wrong) then would not honor the price that was quoted by his salesperson. Im assuming that he did not like that the salesperson agreed to sell it $1000 below asking price, even though she had called him to confirm the price before quoting us in the first place!I understand that sometimes business owners/managers make regrettable mistakes quoting prices. I myself have made many of these mistakes, but I dont blow it back on my customers or employees. In business, your word is your bond (at least thats how Ive operated for 30+ years). If he had only admitted his mistake, we could have possibly renegotiated. Either way, he has lost out on MANY future sales, as I am in the process of having to replace a rapidly aging FLEET of delivery vans.All I can say is, caveat emptor. I got it in writing, and even that didnt matter.

I visited this location to check out a truck I was considering buying. My initial interaction with staff was good; the two women who assisted me were able to answer my questions to the best of their ability. After driving and testing out the vehicle, I went to the office to talk business. This is when things went downhill.The two women who were assisting me explained to me that they do not negotiate on prices. Strange, but I accepted this since their vehicles seemed to be well maintained. I moved on to get a better idea of what my trade ins might be worth. The ladies refused to give me an estimate of what my vehicles would be worth in the trade in, not even bothering to give me a ballpark estimate. Around this time, a man in the office across the hall starts bellowing about how the prices could vary. He continues his rant by appearing in the room and asking questions about the vehicles in a very short and condescending tone, and concludes by saying that my vehicles would not be worth much. I finally became fed up with the unprofessional and inappropriate language that was being thrown around in the office and went outside. The man who was making the comments continued to bellow his opinions about my vehicles as I walked out the door. One of the women who was assisting me followed me outside, at which time I explained how upset I was with the treatment I had just received. The woman, whose name I did not get, told me that she would tell the owner of the business about the situation, and that she hoped I would come back.The unprofessional and distasteful attitudes I experienced at this location put a bad name on small and locally owned businesses. While the quality of their vehicles seems good from a far, I have to ask myself how much they value the vehicles they sell if they cannot even treat potential customers in a professional and courteous manner.

I drove from nc to va to look at a unique van amongst unique vans. Not only did they know technical details about the factory equipment, they knew the vans systems that were aftermarket too. I am an older person and Ive purchased a lot of vehicles. Of the times when I purchased from a dealer, I would say I wouldnt go back but this experience sold me on this dealership...no van life destination dealership. Lol

Everyone there was way beyond anything I have ever experienced. I first called and got a salesman named Justin. He answered all of my questions quickly and accurately! He even agreed to hold the vehicle for me for a week without even flinching. When I got there I was greeted by two lovely ladies, with mind blowing customer service! They got me much better financing than I had come with....( wells fargo took 3 days to get me a rate that Sheri cut in half! in 30 mins!) I came in a rental car they took me to go drop it off Brandon was very friendly, I am sure he had other things to do than ride me around, but smiled and talked to me like he knew me. Checked out my van on their website, then decided to go check it out in person, even though they were closed on the weekend. My van looked great. Because, of logistics I had to come back the following week, and they had Dusty at the airport waiting for me the moment I walked out. During the drive to the shop he gave me a great dinner suggestion, and was super nice. Once I arrived I was greeted with friendly welcoming faces. Justin had all my paperwork ready for me to sign and was a pleasure to work with. Then Tammy started to help me, we ended up having huge problems with the loan that I was pre approved for. After talking on the phone for over 45 minutes to multiple people from the bank, my lender wouldnt let me use my loan for the vehicle because of a stupid technicality about the van being a cargo van. After getting off the phone with Navy federal I was heart broken, but Tammy and Sharri were there to to reassure me that it would all be ok. Tammy and Sharri helped me apply for a loan through another company (Ally) which was significantly more forgiving about the van being classified as a cargo van. During the process Todd was there to lighten the mood and show me some cool videos, and they have a adorable dog who was extra sweet. In the end I got my van! Everyone in the office ended up staying 2 and half hours late on a Friday to get all the necessary paperwork completed, so I didnt have to make another trip to Virginia. They were all so nice, and it was such a great experience thanks to the people at Vans of Great Bridge. If I could I would buy 10 vans from them!
