We recently purchased flooring and Cynthia was our sales person. I have been wanting to replace my floors in my old farmhouse but was unable to make a decision. Cynthias expert eye picked out a few options that were perfect. She made an experience I was dreading into a very easy decision. I love my new Mannington floors and when I am ready to start on the rest of the house, I am heading back to find Cynthia.

From budgeting, planning, choosing the carpet, to delivery and placement, they were wonderful. Tanner helped me so that I got great quality and color and fit. He communicated without delay for every step. I was having large area rugs made, so there was an extra step, but I always knew what was happening. Joe’s delivery and set up team was extremely tidy and professional. I could not have asked for more. My home is beautiful! I will be back when we plan the finishing of the basement and replace the bedroom and den carpets. They are the best!

I worked with Cynthia Charleville to select tile for a new master bath and kitchen backsplash. She was VERY knowledgeable about the different brands that Ambassador has and helped me stay on budget! With such a large showroom it was great to have somebody walk me through the whole process and help me select items that I love!

Built a new home through Payne Family homes who uses this company to do a lot of the flooring bathrooms and such. Everything they have done is just sloppy. First they ordered the wrong tile for our bathroom shower, they had to redo and fill in some of the grout on the bathroom flooring that we spotted on the final walk through. Some of the tiles on the kitchen backsplash were uneven and some holes in the grout. There were a bunch of nails coming up out of the carpet near the doorways to the bedrooms that I had to hammer down because my wife stepped on them. Their customer service people can be nice over the phone but then after talking to someone they never follow through on what they said they would do and you have to constantly call every day to remind them or to find out where materials are and to schedule installs. Have honestly never seen such a poorly run organization with such lack of standards.

From our first meeting with Haley and Brian, to the last installation with Mark and Dylan, we were happy with every step. We were grateful for their patience during our own complicated time-line, and love how well it all turned out.

Our residential account manager Cynthia Charleville was a delight to work with. She led us to exactly what we wanted without a “salesperson” pitch. I’d recommend her to anyone who wants to replace or have carpet installed. The whole team worked together for a seamless and easy replacement of an unacceptable carpet previously installed by another vendor.

Terrible customer service. Definitely the worst I have ever experienced. I would have definitely have given it a zero instead of one star if that was an option.

We purchased $20K of floors with Ambassador 6 months and are now having to replace everything. We came in knowing nothing about flooring and specifically asked for durable floors because we have two 60lb dogs. We were sold floors twice the price as others to get the best quality possible. After being destroyed in 3 months, we called Ambassador and their only solution was us pay for all new flooring. They told us we signed and agreed to the terms. Very disappointing we were taken advantage of and are now out $20K. Do not use Ambassador if you value your money.

I walked in to Ambassador Floor just to look around and Clair Pangilinan was the gentleman that helped me. He turned out to be the BEST! He came out to my home and made sure I got exactly what I wanted and that I understood the process. I had a consist crew Chuck that was great. I am a home owner who worked directly with Eric Lowe to get CoreTec LVT installed in my powder room and kitchen. Everyone I worked with from Eric, to the installers, to the receptionists were consummate professionals. They were always courteous, well informed, and honest. The job was technically difficult and they had to come back multiple times to ensure that the installation was exceptional. There was never any wavering in getting the job done right. The price was very reasonable and they allowed credit card payments without charging fees. I unequivocally give them 5 stars and urge anyone needing floor repair/installation to give Ambassador a call.

We are 100% pleased with Ambassador Flooring. We chose a tile (travertine) to put around the fireplace and the workmanship was exceptional. Dylan was the artist and Clair was our salesperson. There was a point when we were waiting for a longer bolt to arrive and Clair called immediately to assure us that his people were waiting for the delivery and the project would be done on time as promised. Group did a great job of leveling the floor and the install was awesome also. Very professional and courteous. The install went off without a hitch, both the hardwood and the carpet. Management and installers did a great job!!

The crew member was very professional and friendly. He repaired the defects on my floor within less than an hour. There were a total of three areas. The workmanship is good. I would recommend Ambassador Flooring. Their prices are pretty steep though. Each one of my questions were answered. The flooring was originally selected at the Chesterfield shop. The selection was limited, but acceptable.

Just had beautiful Hardwood flooring installed in my husbands office. Chuck and Shawn couldn’t have been nicer! So professional and knowledgeable! Will definitely have them back for our next project!

Very disappointed in the customer service. Had a good sales rep who helped us choose our floor and when we went back to order the floor was told our salesman had changed departments so we placed an order with a different salesman. Order was delivered and upon opening discovered it was missing pieces. Called our salesman who assured us we would be getting the missing pieces soon as it is made here in Missouri, we finally received it TWO weeks later and when we contacted Ambassador have never received any calls back as promised or any compensation. I will be buying the rest of my flooring elsewhere.

I could not be happier with the professional job Ambassador Flooring did with my living room and dining room. I replaced carpeting with hard wood flooring and it looks amazing!Ambassadors crew was polite and finished the job quickly. I highly recommend this company!

We had a house built about three years ago and the builder used Ambassador. We did not deal directly with Ambassador. Fast forward a couple of years and we decided to change some of the flooring and went with Ambassador. The best experience we had with Ambassador was with the installers. We spent about 8K with this time around and the customer service was AWFUL. Our salesperson, Eric Lowe, did not return phone calls or emails. He always seemed surprised to hear from us and rarely had the information we needed when we actually got a hold of him. NO ONE ever called or followed up after the installations (yes there were two) in any way. Id think as much as they jacked around with sales theyd at least be courteous enough to call/write/email/smoke signal/something to inquire if we were happy with the product. We are happy with it but I will never recommend Ambassador to anyone. Ever.

These experts installed my hickory flooring in my new home through McBride. They didnt leave a single extra piece of flooring for any emergency repair and low and behold my flooring is no longer available anywhere in the country (an exhaustive search by myself, their office, and McBride). Im now STUCK with $10,000+ of floor to replace because of their SHODDY craftsmanship and lack of attention to detail. Their improper installation methods have resulted in my flooring checking, cracking, splitting, and cupping. This was verified by an area flooring specialist after they tried to turn in a warranty claim and the manufacturer called their bluff. Now Im stuck with their garbage and no effort to make this truly right (trying to give me pieces of another close flooring is NOT right!!!)They send their office expert (Scott) to my house to be condescending, rude and completely unprofessional and he proceeds to flat out call me every name in the book via phone. He then calls back apologetic. Unbelievable lack of professionalism and customer service.I finally got around to replacing the base in my home and have uncovered their GARBAGE WORK and want to share it with whomever looks at this. I might be completely up a creek here, but perhaps this review and pictures will convince someone else to spend their dollars with a REPUTABLE local company who will stand behind their product, their work, their PRIDE, AND THEIR REPUTATION because at the end of the day thats really what we all are striving to uphold.

Nice large clean store. Pretty sure the sales people work on commission. There are also no prices on any of their flooring products. You also have to check in with the front counter before you can even just browse.

I usually dont post reviews, but I am very unhappy with the experience I have had with this company. We have had issues with our carpeting from the moment it was installed. We upgraded the pad (several levels if I remember correctly) and I think we upgraded the carpet itself as well.Initially, we found little carpet pieces all over the adjacent hardwood (the strands of carpet will coming off the backing). When I called to inquire, I was told that this was normal and that I should simply give it some time because the carpet was new.This continued for a long time. I still thought maybe the carpet was still considered new b/c my parents carpet lasted 20+ years in the house I grew up in.Eventually I called back and asked about it again. This time I was informed that I was out of the warranty period and there was nothing they could do about it. They agreed to have someone come to my house to look at the carpet.When he came out, he said that there wasnt much we could do about the small pieces that were pulling up. I also had him look into some sharp areas under the carpet. He said that it appeared that no one rolled or pressed doen the tack strips anywhere in my house. He noticed that we have small children and took care of the tack strips for me while he was there (thank you!).He also said that from the looks of things that the carpet in the entire house needed to be re-stretched. We have not been living in our house for a very long time at all up to this point.Now I am noticing that there are areas of that carpet that seem to be pulling apart, creating gaps in my floor. It is looking that I will need to be replacing some, if not all of the carpet that Ambassador sold us and installed in our home (after ~5-6 years).I am extremely dissatisfied with the product that we purchased from Ambassador and the service that I have received up to this point (with the exception of the person that came to my house and helped with the tack strips). Hopefully this post will help to educate other buyers when it comes to making flooring choices for their homes.

The sales rep who came out realized i only wanted the floor refinished so he never followed up after i called him several times. It gives the company a bad name, wouldnt use them anymore.

My wife and I had a very disappointing experience with Ambassador and would not recommend them. We had hardwood flooring installed throughout our entire main level (2 story home) and told the Sales Associate we had two dogs (65lb and 40lb). We specifically asked for durable flooring that would hold up. The Sale Associate ended up selling us $25K of flooring and ensured us it was very durable and would last. We are now 5 months into this new floor and its already been destroyed with scratches down to the bare wood (we trim our dogs nails weekly, but they do run and play inside. Nothing out of the ordinary though). We could have easily paid half the price for a laminate plank product, but we were misled and oversold. If you choose this company be aware of what theyre actually selling you compared to what you need and want.

Tried calling several times during business hours on Saturday 4/11/2015 and no one answered nor return messages. Was hoping to see if they had a certain product before making the drive to Chesterfield. Ended up having to make the drive to find out they dont carry it! Why have phones if you are not going to be answering it!! Complete waste of time!

I wish there were zero stars option for this review. Flooring that was put in by Ambassador Floor Company completely FADED within 4 months of installation. Anywhere that sunlight came through the windows, practically bleached the floor! We were shocked and disappointed with the poor quality of a brand new floor. When we went TO the store, (after our polite phonecalls were ignored) their salesman Claire was completely rude and unwilling to offer any help. We then spoke to the manager, who apologized for Claires lack of customer service. We were promised that this would be taken care of... Yet they blew us off AGAIN. ... I feel like this company robbed us of thousands of dollars. Just terrible.

Sales team was great to work with but the pricing of the hardwood flooring was 50% higher than other stores. We did not buy their floors.

Awhile back Ambassador put in faulty flooring in our house and replaced it. When the crew came to replace if they told my wife they were in a hurry and did the worst install job possible. Didnt even clean up before leaving, left the floors a mess, failed to put the baseboards back and didnt replace our appliances properly. They also cut pieces incorrectly and left large gaps. They are quite possibly the worst company Ive worked with.
