I travel a LOT and have been to several game stores throughout the West with mostly positive experiences, so when I say this store was one of the best, I mean that’s my opinion based on several stores in several states.It is focused more of miniature war gaming than other sub-genres but that’s exactly why I went there so still 5 stars there.

The selection is nice, the place is organized, clean,and well kept. There is a delineation of shopping area vs playing area, with plenty of room to walk around. The only knock I have is the 2-3 times Ive pre-ordered an item, it has never come in. Thats a big deal for me especially when I feel as though Ive ordered at a reasonable time in advance and notice.

I stopped in to ask about comic book cards. I was looking for acid free cards to use to wrap my quilt fabrics on so they can be stored vertically on a shelf. The salesperson was very nice and I bought a pack of 100. Being able to get what I need locally is great. Finding it in a store that is clean, well lit and staffed by nice people is even better. The meal on the back wall is pretty cool too.

Great location right downtown, easy parking and very clean shop. Owner was very friendly. Not a huge selection of comics but was able to find a few that suited my taste. Mostly DC and Marvel but some IDW, Dark Horse and Dynamite comics. Larger selection on the game side, D&D, Warhammer and others of the sort. Only reason for 4 star rating was the selection of comics I was looking for.

I love this place. The staff are all super nice and supportive, the location is nice and comfoting without being too sterile. I go here for all of my Magic: The Gathering needs and am never disappointed. The main issue I have is that there is one or two products I have been looking to buy but they have not restocked them in weeks. All in All, a great location.

The staff besides being of the highest caliber of study for the gaming community is the friendliest by far in Cheyenne Wyoming. The selection of diversified gaming platforms is very wide, for the dungeon crawler gamer this is the place to go. The card players of the community will be very surprised and delighted due to the fact that Olympus games and comics has all the latest editions of the popular games such as Magic the gathering, and the like. For the beginner gamer the staff is informed and very helpful. The experience was heightened by the fact that this is the only place offering in house play for all patrons not just regular customers. As a magic the gathering player I was very impressed that they offer a ROLL OF FATE for unique and rare cards : 1 roll for $1 and 6 rolls for $5. This is the place to go for all your gaming needs.

Proprietors were not very friendly or welcoming. One of them was willing to talk a little and help me, while the other scowled. I havent been back.

Olympus Games & Comics seems to be about 80% Games Workshop, 15% comics and about 5% other items. If you are looking for D&D, Games Workshop or Magic the Gathering, this is the place. But if you want anything else, the very polite and knowledgeable staff will have to order it for you - which is a shame, because there are a number of people in Cheyenne who *dont* play those games, but dont want to wait for a store to order it (because you can do that from the internet yourself, right?)

If I could leave a 0 I would. I placed an order for some D and D spell book cards through this location thinking it would only take a couple days. It has been over a week. I just went in to get a refund only to be told that I couldnt get a refund today and will have to wait until Tuesday to get it. When I asked if the person could call someone to figure it out he told me no. I live in Laramie so it is very inconvenient for me to come here. I will never shop here again.

Outstanding staff, helped with a sentimental lost and found item. Our camp staff visits every summer for prerelease drafts. They were very polite about us being seriously sleep deprived. Helped with deck building after a round or two to help make the games more interesting. One of the staffers who played didn’t take prizes, and donated them to some of the players. Hope to be back next summer. We card shop toured all over Cheyenne for a good magic spot and this is the unanimous place to be. Thanks for a good experience.

This place is awesome. I have moved around alot and have visited a good many comic/game shops similar to Gryphon in my time. I love the atmosphere, every single employee and customer I have come across has been extremely friendly and helpful and they have something cool going on every day of the month. They will be seeing alot more of me and everyone I know.

Selection of games is adequate, good selection of comics, and ordering things they dont have is quick and doesnt take a century like other places (not open anymore)! Is always hosting a good number of game nights and events!

The place had an all right selection of comics, but it was more of a game place. The Collection Guys has a better selection of comics.

Olympus is my favorite store for traditional hobby supplies, roleplaying games, and events.They have a great selection (and if they dont have what youre specifically looking for they are happy to order it) and a friendly staff.I attend Wednesday nights for their Dungeons & Dragons as well as their Savage Worlds events. The events are only $2 each for a spot and go for 2 hours. At $1/hr it is incredible entertainment value for the money (especially when GM Drew is doing the voices for the southern housewife NPCs during East Texas University games) and they are willing to teach you if you havent played before.In addition to these events Ive purchased a few Gundam models. Theyre fun kits to put together and they make a great display on my desk at work.Check them out if you havent already and I hope to see you at a table there sometime soon.

A nice small game shop in Cheyenne. This store was nice. My wife and I were greeted as we went into the door. The woman who served us was knowledgeable, kind, and talkative. We talked for a bit before she had to attend to another customer.The selection is small. They have the popular best selling gaming​ stuff and dont stray too far into oddities. They had books for D&D, Warhammer 40k, and a few other things. They have a nice selection of minatures.The prices there are on the higher end compared by many gaming stores.The environment was nice, looked clean, but there were also only two people playing a game, I think Warhammer 40k. It is hard to say what this place is like when packed for a MTG night.Overall, it was a nice experience and I would love to investigate further. I would probably stop if I were in the area again just to check out the gaming crowd.
