I would not give any stars for this business if I could. I had a gas stove replacement put in over four years ago. I was told it would heat up the whole house. It did not. Harmony came and took the protective screen off to increase warmth. It didn’t help.Last year I called to have them come and fix the blower. I had a schedule service call. They called the day before to confirm and I was out of town. I called the next day to confirm the appointment, Harmony cancelled the appointment because I didn’t confirm the day before.I had to wait another six weeks to get them in to look at the blower. Of course, they had to order the part and because of COVID they couldn’t get the part in. Not Harmony’s fault. Finally got the part the middle of July. I had them clean the furnace while installing the blower. They sent a bill for over $350. I thought that was for installing the blower and the cleaning. Several days later receive a phone call telling me that they had not included the cleaning so they added $100 to my bill. I asked the service technician for the warranty for the new blower. He told me the warranty was for 90 days. I said we would not be using the fireplace in July and he said he would honor the warranty through October. The blower is not working. I called and they said they could not get to us until January. HARMONY HEARTH AND HOME ARE UNORGANIZED, DON’T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, AND UNPROFESSIONAL! DON’T USE THEM!
The technician from Harmony Hearth & Home just cleaned my fireplace and it looks so nice. He said all the gaskets were fine and it was in great working order. He even showed me how to turn off and ignite the pilot light. Very nice man. So happy with the cleaning service they did.
We have a fireplace remote control (SIT) and no manual for it, which came with a fireplace that is no longer sold. After over 45 minutes of phone calls, a couple of hours searching on-line, and ++ frustration, I decided to phone Harmony Hearth & Home for help on how to program the smart temperature feature of the remote. I had the wonderful pleasure of speaking to Barbara. I explained the problem to her and to my great relief, she knew instantly. and exactly how to resolve my programming problem. She even directed me where to find archived manual for the fireplace/remote control. Going forward, HHH will be our go to for any of our fireplace servicing. THANK YOU Harmony for having such a terrific employee in Barb!!
I would never use this company again. I waited an extra month for the more experienced person to come do my inspection. They ended up sending the newer guy anyways. He had to take pictures and ask the other guy the whole time. Then they reach out to me a few days later wanting to have the other guy come check something and bill me again. I understand service call fees but if they would have just sent him in the first place. I called the owner and she just asked me what I wanted done. Just not professional.
Terrible company. All of the bad reviews are correct. Incompetent poorly managed. Give your money to a company willing to do there job which isnt this place.
We used Harmony Hearth and Home to service/clean our gas fireplace. We recently bought our home and had no idea if the fireplace even worked. They scheduled us fast and the technician came out and showed my husband how everything worked. When we bought our house the fireplace was dirty and the glass was really foggy. After the cleaning it now looks great! They were so friendly and easy to work with! We will use them in the future for any cleanings and service needs we have.
Very helpful and friendly. Mark was patient and never hurried us. Well do business here.
I took my wood stove door inside harmony hearth and home for repair, I walked in they said it would not be a problem they asked if I wanted to wait for it to be installed I asked them to call me when it’s done. Never received a phone call and when I went to check on it they said it would be two weeks out. Worst customer service ever would not use them for any service
So we had a misunderstanding with booking an appointment, but the owners were wonderful in making it right and contacting me so we could get my fireplace working.Turns out it was user error, but they took the time to walk us through everything so we fully understood our fireplace and didn’t have any issues this winter. They really went above and beyond in making us feel valued as customers and making sure we understood our fireplace completely.
What a joke of a business. Ordered a part for my stove last week and was told it would be here yesterday. Called to find out about it and was told the parts guy was not in and wouldnt be able to check until this morning. Was told someone would call that morning. Nobody called so I had to call only to be told the part wasnt in and they would have to call to find out about the delay. Not sure how they are still in business after all the negative reviews they have.
NEVER NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY HORRIBLE SERVICE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! HORRIBLE OFFICE HELP VERY RUDE AND LACK EXPERIENCE!
A negative experience from the time we first walked into the store. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but every time I look at the stove and what they did to our stone surround during installation, my stomach begins to churn. We began our ordeal in February, when the tech that did the installation measured incorrectly and cut too much stone from the surround leaving a 1”x 8” gap on one side of the stove. He completed the installation and said “you stack wood on that side of the stove anyway...just move your wood some more and it will cover the gap.” It took more than three months for them to even attempt to rectify the problem. Now we’re left with a gap they tried to blend into the stone surround by cutting out more stone and filling with mud. I guess it’s the best that can be done without replacing the entire stone surround, but it’s still impossible to ignore what is an obvious blemish. This is just one part of the experience. I don’t have the patience or time to lay things out in detail. The bottom line is that we’ll never do business again with harmony hearth and home. I recommend you save yourself the headache too and go with almost any other store in the Cheyenne, Laramie, Fort Collins area.
Had a good experience getting my fireplace cleaned. The tech was knowledgeable and explained to me how my fireplace works, what he was doing, and other products to help clean it. Ill definitely be looking to get an insert from them in the future.
Love the warm atmosphere of all my fellow co-workers.
They responded quickly. Responded quickly and were accommodating with warranty. Good to have someone who gives such good customer service.
The place to go for your heating needs. The pellets are the best in town for your pellet stove. Slow burning low ash pellets at the fairest price in town and an amazing group of people who work there. They are always nice and help me load up my pellets. Thanks for being the best!
Wood stove was installed in October last year. in November when raining I noticed drips coming from top of stove pipe. called them next day. they never came. its March, 1st rain and dripping again. probably damage in my attic. very upset.
I was delivering food to one of the employees and my car stopped working. I left a note with my name and number on it in thier door letting them know I was going to leave my car and be back for it the next day. They had it towed and I did not get a call.
Terrible company to deal with.this company insisted i had a chimney sweeping done before estimating work. Did not send me my estimate for over a month. These people are more concerned about their google review than doing what clients pay for.Update. Had contractor come to my home to install flu liner. After beginning work, the contractor informed me I needed to have my flu swept before the liner was installed. I told him it has not been used since being swept. He showed me the pile of loose creosote on the smoke shelf, and the heavy lining of creosote in the lower portion of the flu. Im wondering what this company actually did in my home. The qoute they took months to send me was for installing a flue liner that will not fit in my flue. The owner told me mailing me the qoute i was paying for would be too much of an inconvienance for them.Ive told this company multiple times to quit calling me. They do not care about quality of work or customers, have attempted to screw me over and steal my money, and now will not leave me a lone. Will not let these people back in my home again. I really wish they put the effort they are currently using to annoy me into properly cleaning my chimney, and sending me a qoute in a timely fashion. I cant take this company seriously.
If only I could give this ZERO STARS!PLEASE do yourself a favor...NEVER buy from Harmony Hearth in Cheyenne!! They lack customer service, note taking, timeliness and accepting any blame for what has gone on!!In May we paid Mark at Harmony Hearth to come give us an estimate for installing & purchasing a pellet stove. He was full of ideas & changed our minds on how to install the stove. on 9/22/18 we purchased a stove from Anna. We paid for the stove, the vent system, install & delivery at that time. They told us the stove was a week out & two weeks for install. Three weeks later I called, the response, laughter at how it magically shipped that day and was back ordered! No phone call to tell us it was back ordered! They couldnt install until 12/5/18!! We got on a cancellation list, so they came on 11/20/18 to install with the wrong vent work. NEVER asked us which option we wanted but brought the wrong vent work. NOT only did they NOT install our stove they canceled our original install so now it will be 12/26/18---Three months after I paid them for a complete install!! So trying to keep my cool and talk to Barbara about how to resolve the issue (after my husband had already talked to them today) she continued her giggles and just how crazy it was I was calling just as she was looking at it!! Needless to say I will have someone else install my stove and hope to shout it is a quality stove because I am VERY certain they will not warranty their product!!
Working with this place is an absolute joke. We bought a house with a gas stove. It didnt work, and the sellers told us it was installed by this place, so we had them look at it. They said it needed a new pilot light assembly; we told them to order it. We checked up on it after a week or so; we were told it was backordered. Several more weeks went by with no word, so we followed up. Then we were told that there was absolutely no record that we had any interaction with them whatsoever; no record of the stove service call; no record of the parts order; no record of the chimney cleaning that they also did in the meantime. All the guy could say was that hed have to look into it more and get back to me; several more days with no word; didnt answer their phone; didnt return my message. Their behavior has been so surreal that Im beginning to question my own sanity. Theyll probably respond to this post saying theres no record that we were ever customers; just to cement the alternate reality theyre apparently operating in. But hey, they did manage to clean the chimney, and after only re-scheduling twice! What service! Not that they have any record of it...
Live in Laramie and got a second hand stove and was shocked when none of the local stores would install the piping through my roof.Harmony Hearth & Home not only drove over the hill to do this, they did it in timely and professional manner.
Barbara, Mark and DJ were all very polite and helpful. This place exudes customer service! I drove up from NOCO and wouldnt hesitate to make the drive again for any stove or fireplace needs. Great selections too!
Purchase a Harmon Pellet stove. Was installed at the shop for the main heat source. Loved it so much we had another one installed upstairs. Very knowledgeable and professional. The Rocky Mountain pellets we get are awesome. They burn very efficient with hardly any waste. I WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! LOCAL BUSINESS THAT TAKES PRIDE IN WHAT THEY DO!!!.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. They didnt seem to rush me. And they let me sit down. These things are important because Im handicapped.
Very poor service. They came many times to my folks and did not fix it. Not very good customer service. I would not recommend them.
Worst customer service ever they told me the blower motor on my stove was what was causing the issue well 425 dollars later I still have the same issue they were to come look at my stove again on the 18th and they didn’t show. Scheduler says she called me and I said nope don’t need it and hung up but I have been trying to get my stove fixed since January with them. I will never return to this place and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
Popped in a couple times while in the neighborhood to check on the status of my part that was ordered and have to say right when you walk in its a warm feeling from the atmosphere to the amazing group of people that greeted me they all were very on top of fixing my stove, from the owner Mark which is a very knowledgeable kind yound man to the young lady Tiffanie that does the scheduling which she was very kind and prompt in helping me get taken care. Highly recommend Harmony Hearth and Home to everyone
They helped me with a few parts on my gas fireplace. They called when the parts arrived. Im an HVAC professional so doing things myself was super easy. Now I need a few things done that they are good at. Im skeptic after seeing some bad reviews. Ill update this review after the work is complete.
If Zero stars were an option that’s what they would get. This place is terrible and the employees love to lie. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!
I requested them to come and check on my fireplace. I was told I needed a new thermopile and they would have to order it. They disassembled mine and took the part. I kept checking with them for months and couldnt get a straight answer from them or my old part replaced. Eventually I had to have the whole unit replaced, but not by them!
Its great place for your wood and plillet stoves. The staff is great.
Buyer Beware. We purchased a pellet stove and then we got news of a large, unexpected medical bill. The unit has not even shipped but they will NOT let us cancel our order. We would have even paid a restocking fee but NOPE. Do not think this mom and pop store has your best interest.
Tech was so careful to keep white carpet in front of fireplace clean....it was as if he hadnt even been there! Very pleased with service and customer service.
Very, Poor customer service that stems from the attitude of the owner. We purchased a Harmon stove from them and they told my us we would get a call when the stove came in and that install would be 2 weeks after that. We asked several times about this timeline and were assured that this is what would happen.Well...We never got a call that the stove came in so when we called them to ask about it they told us it had come in almost a week before. So then we asked when could we get the install scheduled. To this we were told they were 4-8wks out for install!!! WTH? We had told them we are on a tight timeline for our remodel when we ordered the stove and we only ordered it with the understanding they told us before. They would not even acknowledge that they told us 2wks for install. They also would not refund our money for the stove. So we are basically stuck. These people will lie to you just to make a sale, BEWARE.Update 12/10/2018So we have the stove and been running it and really like it a lot. The install was done well and looks good. The issue we had previously has been addressed as well. It was an issue with getting the pad the stove sits on. These are ordered in and were being delivered late which affects the install timing. The owner told us this as well as apologizing very genuinely for the mix-up and how we were treated. This is much appreciated and is the way customer service should be done. Honesty and humility are appreciated and so I am changing my review and giving more stars.
We purchased a Quadrafire stove from HHH about a year ago. We love the stove and they are always available to answer questions for us. After they installed it they gave us a great demonstration on how to clean it and care for it. They are super friendly and very helpful, they get my high recommendation!!
The service has been slow with being a busy season last fall. It took a while to get scheduled for them to come back to fix things that could not be done on the initial install. They did diagnose and replaced a couple parts for free. One issue for me was with a trim piece they had made and thats because two different people measured for it and it was to small in height and length when I picked it up.
Beautiful fire places and friendly staff.
If there was a zero rating, that is what this company would receive, use a lot of caution if you are going to do business with them. My suggestion would be go to someplace else.
Very helpful and lots of stock to see.
Mark and Barbara Brennen, and their crew, know about the technology of modern wood, pellet, and gas fireplaces and stoves. Their showroom has 20 or so fireplaces set up, some burning gas logs. They have a parts room, and can even answer my questions about control wiring on pellet stoves. You can park in the lot at their front door, off West Lincolnway, just past Snyder Ave, going west.It takes an engineering degree to permit and install these new fireplaces, so let them do it right for you. I learned. Dont depend on a Depot store to help you install a box of expensive fireplace parts, with some missing, and instructions written in India. Our homes are very important in windy Wyoming.
Excellent assistance and information we requested.
This business is very hard to work with
I dont recommend this place 😟
