Patrick M. provided my soon to be fiancé and I the best experience we could ask for in our engagement ring process. This was our first time ring shopping and he did not make it feel like a sales pitch. He helped me find the style I was envisioning by listening to my preferences and feedback when trying on the potential rings. I was able to find the perfect ring that I loved! I glanced over it when scanning the available rings. He suggested it, explained why he thinks this would be a good fit for me, and he was right! It was everything my boyfriend and I wanted for my ring. However, since it was our first time shopping we did not purchase it. I wanted to keep looking at various stores. At other stores in the mall, the customer service did not compare to Patricks! They just let me try on a few rings and felt a bit rushed. Due to Patricks impeccable customer service, we will be purchasing our engagement ring and will be definitely be coming back to find our wedding bands in the future!

I had such a wonderful experience with this jeweler! Viveca was the associate that helped my boyfriend and I pick out some rings to celebrate our 5 year and she was incredibly patient and sweet. She let us measure our finger like 10 times and explained everything we needed to know in terms of care for our rings and was completely honest about anything and everything! Everyone else was also very sweet and welcoming and overall had a great time :) If you ever go in 100% ask for Viveca!

Customer service was great but my selection of mens bracelets and chains were limited. My sells person would have to order from a catalog for more things? If I see it I may buy it everyone doesnt want to wait for a purchase.

I went in today to purchase my wedding band, and I came out buying two rings. One wedding band and another engagement ring with diamonds. Matthew was great, patient and friendly. He helped me decide on a gorgeous 1/2 a carat diamond ring and I love it. He guided me through the process and helped me open a Kay account to save money. The hubby bought me earrings here a couple of years ago. They were not my style so we went back the next day to find something that I liked. The sales woman was extremely helpful and didnt pressure. I stuck with diamond studs, but chose them in gold, another cut and even went down a 1/2 karat. I walked out happy and with the exact earrings I wanted. This Christmas my husband took me to the store to pick out a piece of jewelry. I picked a new ring, we bought the warrantee and a couple weeks lasted, I decided to have it sized down. I got my ring back a week faster (1 week) and I love it even more now.They do a 6 month inspection of my jewelry and I can stop in for a free cleaning anytime. The same sales woman helps me. Just like the jingle, Every kiss begins with Kay.

Ive been a long time customer for Kays. The day i happened to walk in with an issue with my engagement ring it happened to be Matthews first day at this location. He quickly addressed my issued with my ring also asked about my wedding band which ive never been able to find the perfect wedding band due too the design of my engagement ring. Matthew was the first person after coming here for so many years to offer me a custom wedding band he got me approved for a Kays card and came up with a beautiful design. Fiance picked a ring out from online store. It was perfect. When he went to place the order in person due to sizing issue he was belittled and attempted to be hussled. They said that daimond was too small and could get a bigger one for a little more. He exclaimed we were set on this ring and we both wanted it. He go side eyed and attitude the whole time. I absolutely hate this place, my husband has bought me many pieces of jewelry and chains always break. I get them fixed and they saunter the chain back together, making it even weaker...I’ve had my one ring for 2 years now and every 6 months I need to bring it in because the stones keep falling out. I took my ring in 2 weeks ago cause 3 stones we’re missing and went to pick it up today... Guess what? Still missing a damn stone. Now have to wait another 2 weeks for them to send it out 😡Make sure you keep up in your 6 months services so your warranty is still valid. Tell them you want them to inspect it cause if you don’t they won’t do it. I would never recommend this place. They’re are way better places with better jewelry.

Bought an engagement ring and then had it appraised. Has a Giant flaw in the center Stone. Complete rip off and Im stuck paying for a ring of terrible quality. Valued way below what I paid for. Do yourself a favor avoid these places like the plague. Go to local jewelers that only sell quality rings. Will never buy from them again.

Service was great during our purchase of a $2500 wedding set. But when we went in to pick it up the service was terrible.
Worse experience ever. The staff along with the manager were huddled up having a good time. Its seems like my arrival interrupted them. I asked for my $3000 ring to be inspected and cleaned and was told I could not without my paperwork. I stated ive been here several times w/o the paperwork and asked if they could look it up. The lady shrugged as if there was nothing she could do. I stepped out to call my fiancé and was reaffirmed that all they have to is look it up. I came back into the store to the huddle and exclaimed my past experiences and the staff member rudely said well this is my manager here. I addressed the manager who was just as immature and borderline rude. She stated we can inspect your ring but our system is changing so thats why you need it. I asked what that had to do with now. I said I just for off the phone with my fiancé and you all typically look it up for us. Visibly aggravated by me she said well he isnt here so we cant inspect it. I asked well which is it your staff initially stated that you cant inspect without the paperwork now you can but he has to be present? At that point I was so disappointed I explained that the service I recieved was less than optimal for customers who spend good money with them and it is important to be consistent. The end result is I left the store. I will not order my wedding band nor his band from here and will take my business elsewhere. Tip for management get new staff for this Kays jewelers. They are more interested in hanging out then providing good service to consumers.
This is just horrible costumer serivce. My husband bought my engagement ring from kay in chicago ridge. He bought it in july 9 2016. I have already had to get it repaired once from two stones falling out. In about December the same two stones fell out again. This is twice in less then six months.So my husband to be takes it back there feb 4, mind you he bought a life time warranty. They turn around and tell him you missed your appointment we cant fix it you have to pay out of pocket. Now there was never anything sent out threw email, mail or even a phone call, which they have all the information for. They do not explain or even say that there is appointments. when you are purchasing the life time warrenty you think it is life time.It is all of 5 days after January that is when they say the appointment was.The lady that was at the counter was beyond rude. Would not even touch the ring said she did not want to be blame for stones falling out. They already fell out that why we are here. She was beyond rude had a attitude from the moment he walked in.My soon to be husband has is very calm and respectful at all times. This is why he goes to do these thing and wait outside the store. We will never go back. This was just a overall horrible experience.
I bought a pair of earrings. $1,000.00. When the gem stone broke, they couldnt fix it!!. Even if I payed for it!!!! Why sell something you cant fix??!! Dont recommend this place.
One of the worst Kay Jewelers Ive ever walked in! No customer service whatsoever. I walked it did not get greeted at all. They walked passed me did not even ask if I needed any help! They were all huddled up in the register pretending to do work
June 2019 Looked for a replacement of a stolen watch But the sales women did not have the same as my original .
Bought custom jewelry (simple heart pendant based off a current model) from them and an employee gave me a 4 to 6 week estimate for completion... 10 weeks later i still dont have my custom jewelry... each time i inquired about the pendant i keep getting more pushed out completion dates one after another... at this point im fed up waiting and they wont give me a refund (yeah i paid for it in advance like an idiot)... i called customer service and found out there were gaps in the approval of a wax mold (step right before they make the real thing) of up to 20 days which is false bc i i recieved a phone call and that they recieved it and came in the very next day soo me the customer is being blamed for all of thisi say these people are liars and if i dont get my full refund they are theives in my eyes avoid them
