Comfortable wine shop for friends or partner to spend time. The wines I sampled were wonderful, and they offer a broad range. This is a really nice location to rest or unwind. I appreciate this places quiet atmosphere. The meal I ordered corresponds to the wine I had.

You will never be disappointed or leave empty-handed. In fact, just try and stick to your ‘I’m just getting one bottle’ promise to yourself. Plus, they do reward points so really you’re paying yourself forward. But don’t stop at wine because they have a well curated selection of beer, ciders, coffee, cheese, liquor and mixers. I literally can’t go more than a few days without visiting.

My wife Sherry and I had a warm welcoming experience this past week as we visited our daughter and her husband here in Chicago on Printers Row. The service was so pleasant. Kate served us each evening out on their sidewalk patio area. The choice of wines surprised us. Kate is well versed on all the selections and each night was a new refreshing experience. My wife loved the spritzer with a touch of grapefruit. We both recommend this local wine shoppe to visitors and locals looking for great service after lunch or for dinner. The Jazz club around the corner was a bonus!

I was really impressed with the wines from this shop. It was so indeed tasteful and not too over flavored. The staff has a wide knowledge of wines. She was the one who recommended the wines that I bought. Kudos to her! They had also whiskey and beers. I will surely visit this place again and buy some bottles of wine.

This is a good place to start learning about local wines and other things. James is a very interesting person to talk to, and he is very knowledgeable about the area and the things he has for sale. We had a great time meeting him and would suggest that everyone in the area take a lesson at this wine store.

We stopped in for a wine tasting to see which ones we wanted. Sophia assisted us in selecting the wines we desired, explaining the differences in wine types and how they were made. We ended up purchasing three bottles of wine and were given complimentary glasses of wine! Sophia was very knowledgeable and supportive. They come highly recommended from me!

I moved into the neighborhood in the summer of 2020 and no place makes me happier than this one right here. Such a great and varied wine offering with some solid beers and other liquor. The bar is fantastic if youre looking for a quiet night in and the patio is perfect in the summer.Also, Mason is hands-down the best.

Printers Row Wine Shop has been a staple in the neighborhood for 15 years and on top of having an amazing selection of craft beer, wine and spirits, has just opened an on site wine bar!

I was a little bit tipsy, but the wine here is definitely one of a kind! This wine shop really the best quality and the best service when it comes to serving wine. Everything here in this place was really good, and the charges are very affordable too. I will surely recommend this shop to everyone, including my friends and family. Thank you so much!

Yesterday afternoon, I went to this wine shop. Concerning the menu and wine list, the server was well versed. I was pleased to see that he had at least one Sauvignon blanc from the rest of the world. My meal went well, and the crab dinner was also fabulous. I recommend this place very much!

We walked in and had no intention of buying something, only browsing. For a while, I was set on another business before I tried this spot. The staff were highly professional and did not hesitate to assist us!

This is my go-to wine shop. They have a great selection of wine and beer, too. Their rates were way cheaper than other wine stores in the city. They have the friendliest and helpful staff than anywhere else. Their store was fully stocked always and the wine and beer were well-organized on the shelves.

Really nice atmosphere. Dim lighting, old wooden floors, tin ceiling, lots of wine and other select alcoholic beverages. You can order from the menu (QR Coded) or purchase a bottle off the shelves with an additional uncorking fee. High tops, table tops and low armchairs are all seating options. Great for a solo trip or a small group.

What a nice surprise. I heard good things about this bar. I had never been there until recently. Now, I try and stop in whenever I can. Not only do I enjoy their alcohol, but interesting people seem to be there talking about alcohol and foods, particularly about local wines.

Excellent food and alcohol selection

Well stocked liquor store with a super cool sign! Located in downtown which makes the fact that this point has its own dedicated parking lot quite amazing. Entire staff was friendly, from the elderly smiling security guard all the way to the staff member that let us use their chiller to cool down our red bull!

A relatively quiet spot. Good beer & wine. And, every time I have been there Katie was our server and she is always friendly & knowledgeable.

Love the store and the owner. But the last 5/6 times we’ve gone There the associate who runs the till and manages the shop doesn’t talk to us, and when asked a question gives one word answers and shoved a wine in our face. We’re there to explore wine and we trust them. But having no dialogue and not even being allowed to enter our phone number for our rewards points sucks pretty hard.

The selection of wines are great, love the hardwood floors and the feel of this place! Will come back!

I was discriminated against by this establishment. I stopped in on Saturday September 5th around 8:40pm and asked the gentleman at the counter what time they close and he stated we’re closing in 10 minutes.While in that area waiting for a table reservation for a neighboring restaurant, I seen at 9:20pm that they were still open. I stopped in again to inquiry why they were still open when I was told earlier they were closing.The same employee, who identified himself as Lee, informed me that they are close. The individuals and customers on the patio were just “finishing up their experience” as they are unable to serve liquor past 11pm.Well to my surprise, I seen him seating a party of three where he just refused my service. He poured them a glass of wine and when I asked why was I being discriminated against and not good enough for their establishment, he was tongue tied.Stay Away!! I’m not sure why I was refused service. I have an idea, but I digress. However at ANY establishments where customers are not treated equally is not a business I would support.All Patrons Matter.

Good, varied selection of everything from fine wines to craft brew and cider. Has tastings on a regular basis, though Ive never been lucky enough to make one. Warning: not cheap by any means, but if youve got the scratch chances are youll find something youll like.

The store manager did not allow me to redeem my points I have earned for shopping in this store for over 2 years. Reason: The bottle of wine was $0.13 too *cheap*. Quote: Rules are rules my friend. It was the wine we always bought in this store for the last two years. But to earn $15 you have to spend $15, and our favorite bottle of wine was just $14.87. I wouldnt be surprised if immigrations officers are more flexible with passport expiration dates than this store is with its reward program.PS. First review of my life

The owners live in the neighborhood and make an extra effort to host tastings and events for customers. You can catch live music and tastings most Fridays and always find a little something to take home.

Extremely disappointed in this establishment. Not sure if it was my race (black) or age (30s) that warranted neither of the two men in the shop to welcome us when we came in to look for wine. There was a white older couple whom they both stared at and talked to all while eating their pizza and drinking wine. Neither bothered to look our direction, speak to us or offer any assistance as we walked through the shop. We live in south loop and just got back from napa so were very excited to continue to explore wines. But clearly not here. Shame.

Im in love from all the way down in Houston. This charming boutique has stolen my heart. Ok, so that may not be *too* hard given their business but the staff was so cool! Award for Honorary Southern Charm. We arrived 5 mins before closing but the guy behind the counter didnt rush us. We even got a little tasting of the official Chicago drink Malort. While I wouldnt recommend the drink, the gesture was on par with anything this Southern gal would witness down here.Swing by next time you are in the hood and pick up a local bottle from Revolution or a nice bottle of wine to enjoy with friends. Printers Row is the closest place to me that carries mead from B. Nektar so I make the trip up from NWI and its totally worth it. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.Protip: they offer a bag for $5 bucks that has dividers so you can take beer with you without the bottles moving and clanging around. Every time you bring it back, it gives you 10% off your beer or wine purchase. Its worth it if you plan on going a lot which I do.
