This is where the rubber truly hits the road for car stereo installation. I have switches in my vehicle which regulate the hydraulics to raise my vehicle up and down and provide me the ability to run three wheel motion. These guys can do anything. I have an old 1980s era space shuttle in a hanger behind my house. Im pretty sure the guy that works there named Eric can get it up and running. I just want to take it out for a little spin, not necessarily go to the moon but maybe just get up in orbit for a little while.

Update: it has Alexa voice start capabilities by setting up a pin on their web page dashboard. Whenever you give voice Command to your Alexa to start car you must confirm with the pin before it will remote start. The voice command you use will be “Alexa ask Drone mobile to start my car”You can also use Siri to only lock and unlock.

What a great group of guys. Imagine this, I bought used Mercedes starter that had been custom programmed a year previously, on eBay from Florida. I had it shipped back to Chicago, reset to original settings, updated to the latest firmware and checked for contents in the box. Within a day of receiving it, they finished everything as promised and shipped it to me in Canada as if it was new. They didn’t have the correct Drone mobile unit for our 3G service, but gave me list of local suppliers in my area that I could buy it from. Everything worked perfectly, the online videos guided me to a tested and complete installation in 5 hours. Most of that was while I tried to figure out how to put the pieces back together, after I took them apart without taking photos along the way! Thank you very much. It’s working perfectly even at 20 below zero. Great product and even better service.

I saw an article about their innovative work with alarm systems for Mercedes Benz vehicles and submitted a question regarding my Audi. I wasnt certain they would even bother to respond. Much to my surprise and delight they not only responded quickly but they also gave me detailed information and contacts. Since one of my sons now has a MB I will definitely point him in their direction.

I got the reverse camera for my 2016 Sprinter. My van was pre-wired for reverse camera, so installation was mostly easy. Produce is really good, only issue i had was that MB doesnt connect the cable to the back of the radio/monitor. It took several iterations with Mid City engineers to figure this out.I would give the produce 5 stars if they had a basic wiring diagram. Its really easy, but a diagram would help to trouble shoot in case of issues

I installed the VIM221K system (with camera and programmer) in my 2007 Mercedes S550 in order to activate the backup camera function. I had it professionally installed. The system works very well and is a very important additional safety feature on my car. I do not use the video-in-motion function (also for safety reasons) but even removing the VIM221 module from the system allows the backup camera to continue to function. The VIM221 module remains in the car so that the backup camera can be re-activated in the event the COMAND controller in the car needs to be reprogrammed for any reason. The module is superb, the programming is excellent and the Mid-City support staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I couldn’t be happier. I bought the remote start system and had very little problem putting it in. The hardest part was getting a small plastic cover off of the start switch connector. The rest was cake. All together it took something like 15 minutes to install and activate. The best part is that for $15 a year I can use my cell phone to start the car anywhere I have cell phone reception. I called Mid City about another product and the engineer I talked to was very friendly and quite helpful. Pretty funny too. All things said I cant recommend them more. Great product and wonderful company to deal with.

It took way too long for this product to reach its destination. A contact from the company said it was because her mom was sick. While I empathize with that, a business should have someone else to take charge in case of emergencies. Based on my experience, I could not in good conscious recommend this entity.

I installed Mid Citys remote ignition system on my 2015 ML400. Works exactly as advertised. Very happy with it and wouldnt hesitate to use it again. Works from inside my house at least 25 line-of-site from the car. Ive used outside more than 40 from the car.

MB dealer preferred company for remote start. There was one hiccup that occurred because of a brand new model car that Mid City quickly resolved with an update to firmware. Great customer service and better yet, when its below 40 outside it automatically turns on seat heater.

I bought this kit and done a DIY install of this in my 2013 Mercedes Benz CLS63 AMG. I was a little skeptical of the idea of having to tear into my dash to install the kit but the packaged instructions alone with online references and tutorials was excellent. In addition, the phone support from Mid City Engineering ( including Noah ) was impeccable in giving me PATIENT hand-holding phone support. For my model,car this is not a typical task for the DIY, but if you are brave and wanna tackle it, the staff there at Mid City Engineering will give you all the support you need. In closing, I recommend taking the kit to a Mid City Engineering dealer to install.

Awesome product. I purchased the SmartKey Starter SKSNG204D4 for my 2016 CLS 400. I also purchased the Compustar DR-5400 add on phone module and the ignition switch removal tool.First of all, I am not a mechanic and I have never installed a remote starter. At first I was a little intimidated, but was immediately impressed with the online installation manuals that were made available, even for novices like me. The explantations along with the photos and illustrations made me confident that I could tackle this myself.I especially like that this installation doesnt require any splicing into the original wiring harness and that there is an on screen display to change some of the settings, such as the temperature for the heated andcooled seats and engine run time.The fact that you use you can use the factory key fob to start the vehicle is amazing. I did, however, opt to get the Compustar 3 mile, 2 way remotes. Totally not necessary, but I do like the extra range and the start confirmation from the two way remote. Also, the phone module is great, as I can use the app and remote start from anywhere that I have wifi or cell service.Installation for the most part was a breeze. The hardest part to understand was how to locate the KeylessGo wire and how to access the starter menus. These are two areas where the instructions could use some updating for use with the newer units.Although anyone can do the installation themselves, I would recomend that you have some experience soldering and a decent soldering iron. You could do some real damage to your EIS, if not done properly. If soldering is not your thing, then I would recommend contacting MidCity Engineering to have them install the jumper wire.Another thing to keep in mind, since this installation requires sacrificing your spare key, it might be a good idea to order an additional spare key beforehand. I have heard that there could be issues trying to program a spare after the installation.The best part about this product is the level of support. Not only is there plenty of easy to understand installation manuals, but the customer service is great as well. Yes, you can actually call and talk to one of their technical experts, that can help with any snag you may run into.All in all, 5 out of 5 stars. Everything works as advertised and is even more functional than any stock remote starter. My installation looks so professional that my friends are trying to get me to install remote starters for their vehicles.

I have purchased both the escort radar integration module as well as the started module and both products have performed extremely well. For the last two years I have had one problem where the radar update caused the display to stop working and Mid Coty and the guys at MSC Calgary fixed it immediately at no cost. Sold a product that never worked and could not commit to an ETA to get it to work. They never followed up and then after nearly 4 months and repeated emails they refused to provide a fix.

When I purchased my 2016 GLA250, the demo vehicle had remote start and i was assured that mine did too...NOT. After many failed attempts to activated remote start with Mbrace, i had to find alternatives. MCEs product for my GLA250 has been working flawlessly for almost two years. Although it is virtually plug and play you will need some hands on skills and be prepared to take your dash apart. Took me a good day from start to finish. Well worth the time, effort and money (especially considering i had MB reimburse me for the cost of the kit!)
