I biked here on a 90 degree day after 3 failed coffee house attempts to find a working Print-with-me kiosk. Ritual’s worked perfectly, AND it was located right under the blasting air conditioner which was fantastic. Treated myself to a toasted everything bagel and a Cortado which was the perfect size, temp, and texture. Baristas were super nice and the shop was clean and calm. Go here 😍

I have searched high and low for an amazing iced matcha latte. If my iced matcha latte with oat milk doesn’t taste like it was delivered from heaven on a cloud to the depths of Chicago then I don’t want it. I am proud to say that I found that matcha latte here at ritual house. My personal fav in the Chicago land area.

Got a green tea latte w: oat milk & it was pretty decent and basic. Watched the barista make it and they have cute decor and seating! Place is super rustic looking and it’s pretty nice to see records and others all around the walls!

There are great seating options, some inside, plenty outside. nice atmosphere with chill music. generally not too noisy. i asked for a raspberry mocha but they didnt have any raspberry, however the barista suggested lavender and it was seriously one of the BEST mochas ive ever had. she was very friendly and helpful. 9/10, love this coffee place.

This is my second time going to Ritual Coffeehouse - workers are very welcoming & patient, store is very clean and organized. I didn’t know they had bagel sandwiches but I knew I had to get one when I found out! They’re quick and I see their efforts to adhere to CDC guidelines. I’m definitely leaving the Starbucks near me and coming here more often. Put the money back into the community.

Ritual is a dope coffee spot full of good vibes. When you walk in their whole record collection is displayed to the left of the store and they have the records rotating all day. Great coffee! The iced beverage lids are the straw less which is much appreciated. I want to give a shout out to morning crew for reinforcing the new mask mandate Chicago has put it place. The Barista kindly offered a gentleman a mask since he didn’t have one with no problem, but apparently he had all the problems about it. The customer harassed the barista about the new mask mandate, vaccines, and what they thought about everything. The Barista handled the situation so well and with class. Thank you Ritual for providing a safe and clean space ☕️

Made my first stop here in Chicago a coffee stop and couldn’t pass up the apple fritter. LOVED all the vinyl records inside, totally my kind of place, wish the vinyl was for sale! I totally would have snagged a few of them for my collection at home. Oh, and my coffee was delicious too! I shall return before my trip is over and if don’t, I’m saving this place on my Chicago list on google maps for future reference. 👍🏻

Really chill vibe here. The pour over coffee and moroccan mint tea is delicious.When I was having a conversation with Pete, a guy named Paul at Ritual Coffeehouse approached me. I shared the gospel of Jesus with him. I told him that it is by the stripes of Jesus you are healed and he wants to restore the broken places in your life. Paul shared that he is Catholic and has no feeling in his left hand for 2 years because of bike accident, where he fell on his left hand. We prayed for him and asked him if feeling had come back to his left hand and it did.Before we left the coffeehouse, Paul said, we are more to come back and see him.

Lovely little coffeehouse steps from the Irving Park L. (Take care finding it...the only signage is small, printed on the door.) Excellent pourovers & bar drinks, beans from a variety of craft roasters, wonderful cinnamon buns. Sit outside on the back patio -- nice little oasis from the Chicago summer sun.

Jacob, the owner, is very warm and welcoming. Each time we come in he hands feed our dog, Tater, treats. We love the back patio.

Visited for the first time this morning. Rustic interior design with expansive record collection. Coffee was good with various milk options and syups. Light pastry with breakfast sandos also available.

Shhh! The best chill coffeshop vibe, kind staff with great service, and great simple menu. Keep it secret! And dont ask my dog why he pulls to get there every time we come within the block, even at midnight.

I love the small, backyard get away vibes if you seat outside. The inside has a cozy feel to it too. The coffee is on the stronger side, more burnt and bitter notes so if youre a fan youll enjoy that. I had trouble finding the entry, but dont give up... its there! Enjoy!

Kind baristas. Ive learned more about coffee since I started going here. And I just learned about the cute back patio!The place does need a bigger sign. I drive down Irving Park every day and had no idea it was there! Does that make it our best kept secret?Love that they use the coincidentally titled Ritual pre-order app too. I loooove when good things are convenient.

Really friendly staff and very clean! They make a delightful dirty chai latte. Right off the brown line, but never overly busy. There is a cute alley way patio in the back for nice days.

Great coffee and they allow friendly puppers. Who doesnt need dog therapy right now? Im so happy this is in my neighborhood and so conveniently located next to the brown line stop. They have online ordering which I appreciate. Ill need to bring extra cash for my pick up next time since I didnt see an option to tip online. Hopefully thats a setting that can be updated for their site, I like to tip on line when possible!

Really nice little shop that seems great for getting some work done. Unfortunately, the clientele that come here are super annoying loud people who don’t consider sitting patrons when they enter. Wish they could improve on this aspect but seems mostly like an issue with location. Food prices are also super high and not usually proportionate to freshness/quality.

The cold brew was good, but the patio was great. I’ve missed having coffee outside this summer, and Ritual offered a pleasant space to catch up with a friend.

Great coffee and service, good vibe, and not impossible to find a seat in like some other coffee shops nearby. Tiny space, but during the months when the outdoors are hospitable to human life, it seems they have a huge back patio. Pastry and bagel selection is just okay, but the unadvertised breakfast sandwich is quite good.

A rock and roll coffee shop that manages to be relaxed and comfortable at the same time. Love the vinyl records, like a jukebox without the machine. And the coffee is incredible. Dont miss the turmeric latte, esp. good with soy milk.

Good coffee, good people. They do charge for refills, which I love because it shows they value their product. And it is a product worth valuing! They serve both intellencia and Passion House. Will definitely be back for the atmosphere and delicious hot coffee.

Very friendly and passionate staff. Lots of attention to detail, and great care taken with in-house drinks. The dont boil their milk like most coffee chains, so you get the full richness of the coffee. Great spot for killing time or doing some work.

First time here today and the barista was so nice and so helpful in suggesting drinks I may be interested in! My oat milk chai latte is delicious. I got my coffee to go, but the atmosphere of the space seemed like a great place to do work or catch up with friends.

I am in love with this coffee shop. They have an excellent variety of teas and yummy donuts, and its never too crowded to sit down for awhile and get some work done. They also have a solid record collection so you can put something on if you want. This place is a hidden gem.

Front room is somewhat unremarkable, but the back patio is a really nice retreat from the city. The owner is very nice and welcoming. Definitely worth a try if you are on the fence.

Ritual is an adorable coffee house near the Irving Park Brown Line Station in North Center, and it is 100% worth a pop-in! I tried the Vanilla Cold Brew, which I recommend if you are a cold brew fan.The shop itself is small, but offers table and bar space. Free Wi-Fi is a plus, and the chalkboard walls and serene feel of the shop provide the perfect backdrop for a day of working remotely or a casual coffee with friends.The baked treats look great, so I will have to try one of those on my next visit. I have a feeling this will soon be my go-to as it is much more local than the other coffee shop options in the area.BONUS: This place has a record turntable and will let you play from a selection of records OR bring in your own to play! =)

Lots of great reviews for this place. Good atmosphere. Knowledgeable barista that knows customers. On the cons, for me, the batch coffee tasted watered down. The tables are reclaimed wood (or themed so) and make for an uneven work surface and also hard to use a wireless mouse. Lastly, they dont offer free or discounted refills which is pretty odd - Dark Matter even does cheap refills on cold brew. I can see why regulars like this place, but would not use it as a go to coffee shop for work.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Most importantly, coffee is good. They use Intelligentsia beans and have a good selection of coffee drinks. They play music louder than your average Starbucks so I dont recommend coming here to work if you take a lot of calls. But it is otherwise a very work-friendly place. Plenty of open outlets near seating and good WiFi speed (I was averaging about 45 Mbps download).Bonus point: theyre also pretty quick if youre on your way to the train or bus right there.
