I came to Chicago from out of state on 09/24/21 only the night. I threw out my contact lenses, not knowing I had forgotten to pack my daily disposables and my glasses. I called Vision Boutique on 09/25/21, and they were my saving grace. I first spoke to Dr. Hellen, who was incredibly sweet and empathetic and so very understanding. Shortly after, she handed the phone to Cynthia, who proceeded to ask me questions regarding my prescription and confirmed they had two pairs I could pick up at my convenience. I went to the store and interacted with the individuals mentioned above. Whitney allowed me to put my contacts on before leaving, and I walked out with some solution and a case to ease any troubles I may encounter. I can’t thank you all enough for being so accommodating. I plan on moving to Chicago soon, and I will most definitely make Dr. Helen my doctor of choice at Vision Boutique.

It was my daughters first experience with glasses. Dr. Amy was extremely informative and nicely answered all my questions I had. To be honest, this subject about prescriptive glasses its new to me. My daughter loved her RAY-BAN prescriptive glasses. I will definetely be going back for future appointments for my daughter. Also I will be requesting an eye exam for myself, as well. Customer service is great and employees are extremely nice 👌🏻😀✌🏻

This review is for their email services. I went to Vision Boutique in 2014/2015 and didn’t love my experience. I ended up moving away but found myself on their mailing list. No big deal. Unsubscribe. Well, come 2021 and I’m still receiving emails. I have clicked unsubscribe multiple times and nope I still get emails. I’ve reported the emails to Google and continue to do so. I hope the company sees this and updates their email mailing lists. Right now, this company is spam.

Excellence every time. Have had two optometrists who are excellent, and Greg in the front really took time to help explain all my options and pricing, as well as giving me much needed style advice. Nothing but good things to say.

My experience at Vision Boutique was wonderful from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The staff was friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Cartwright was fantastic and explained everything in great detail. After the exam, Jason helped me select my glasses and let me say that he was beyond amazing. I’ve always been overwhelmed with the process of selecting new glasses but Jason made the experience so easy and stress free. I’m so glad to have found an eye doctor in the city.

I have only had positive experiences at Vision Boutique - The eye doctors are great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I recently got glasses and contacts there and I thought the price was reasonable for what I received with my eye insurance. It is also a great location and the facility is nice!

I visited yesterday for my annual eye exam and the team was more than helpful. Veronica was very nice and walked me through the initial intake and preliminary exams. Dr. Neil was a cool cat per usual. Catherine did an incredible job of recommending various new glasses. She also took the time to educate me about my current glasses and how to optimize my vision with the new glasses.

They even walked me through all of my insurance and what insurance would cover, and helped me find the best way to utilize my insurance to make it cheaper for me! I love this place! I have been coming here for years and bringing my whole family. Dr. Neil is amazing, detail oriented, doesn’t leave a stone unturned, cares deeply about your eye health. Jason is a true gem! Has your best interest in mind, always there with a great advice on frame, style, features. Their whole staff is amazing, every person you interact with. Dr. Helen and all of her staff were incredibly courteous, professional, and helpful! Dr. Helen took the time to explain and answer all of my questions. I have been nervous to make any dr appointments during COVID, but am so glad I entrusted Vision Boutique to take care of my eye needs. Their office is immaculate, they limit the number of people allowed in at once, and take every precaution necessary to make you comfortable. I had excellent service from Dr. Neil, Cynthia & Katherine and am so glad I found a trustworthy eye doctor in Chicago. Also, the office is just super cute, so that’s an added bonus.

Been for contacts, glasses and eye appointment! Phenomenal customer service at both Lakeview and Old Town locations! Glasses selection varies a little per location but found two pairs I loved at Lakeview. 10/10 recommend and very fair pricing, paid parking usually available out front as well!

I was very impressed with the quality of my eye exam, choosing new glasses and then coming back to get contacts. Jason at the Lakeview location, did a phenomenal job with helping me choose new glasses and spent quality time helping me find the right ones. He also did a great job with the adjustments and making sure that they fit properly.

The staff are knowledgeable about eye care not just eyeglasses. They have made useful suggestions regarding problems with dry eye, for example. They are very patient and take their time without resorting to a hard sell. Quite the opposite. If you really want their opinion, ask them in a way that lets them know you want some honest input. They can provide it in a tactful but informative manner. In my case, they have picked out some that they would like me to try on. This is a good spot to try something different. Last week I had the eye exam. I have had quite a few. Again, time was taken to do a good job.I say go here with an open mind and have a bit of fun. This is not a place with attitude.

I have been going here for the last two years and really love how friendly the staff are and how efficient they are with their patients. I mostly wear contacts and my eyes have always been sensitive and Dr. Helen T. recommended daily moist acuvue and it has completely changed my experience with contacts. Also, knowing I’m always staring at the computer she recommended blue light glasses over my contacts and that has been super helpful as well.

Overall amazing experience! The staff was polite and welcoming. There was an array of frames to choose from. One of the specialists helped me pick out frames that were the style I was looking for and picked ones for me that best fit my face shape. The experience was quick and efficient. And on top of it, they have their own lab so I was able to take home my new prescription eyeglasses the same day!

Able to see me right away and earlier than my scheduled time. Everything was sanitized well and frequently during these covid times. All wore masks and I felt very safe. Dr Neil was great and answered all my questions.

Everybody that took care of me was amazing. I am terrible about going to the eye doctor. Dr Tzanetakos was very insightful and didnt shame me for not coming in sooner. She helped me understand my eyesight and what I can do to better my lifestyle. She has inspired me to return annually. Also Stephanie was amazing as well. She helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. She made me feel very comfortable and inspired me to try new looks. She was very easy going and didnt pressure me. Loved the experience!

This place has a great selection of frames from conservative to ultra funky. I walked in with no appointment and spotted a frame I wanted. The doctor was able to see me.Derrick was extremely helpful. The entire team gave feedback on which frames looked best and fitted my personality.Derrick also showed me pricing with and without my insurance.They dont to up sell. It was an excellent no-pressure experience.

Dr. Neal is a great! I dont live nearby any more but I make sure I come back to see him. He has a great demeanor and treats his patients respectfully. The office is always clean and appointments are timely.

I highly recommend this place. Dr Helen is the best. She’s very professional. She takes time to go through the eye exam with you to get the perfect vision. She understood my problem that my hormones fluctuated a lot while breast feeding, which affected my vision. She was very patient. She welcomed me back many times to replace the prescriptions. She definitely made sure I found the right contacts. I moved to suburbs but I would still come back to see her.

Dr. Boldus and the team are always friendly and professional. I have had problems at other eye places where they try to get you to spend as much money as possible, but that never happens here. I have also been impressed with their attention to procedure during the pandemic.

Everyone here and Dr Helen were incredibly friendly and actually eager to be helpful, especially considering my visit was during COVID-19 pandemic... The facility was clean and plenty of sanitizing supplies were available. They also limited people and controlled random walk-ins to reduce capacity.

I am such a fan of Vision Boutique! Dr. Neil Boldus is great - he got me into a new pair of contacts that have made all the difference. Hes kind, funny, and thorough. The front office staff is just as fabulous. Derek help me find 2 pairs of amazing frames I love. He was so incredibly helpful and patient as I tried on pair after pair. He has a real talent as an optician in making people feel comfortable and relaxed, while finding them the perfect pair of glasses.

Vision Boutique is great. They are always super transparent about maximizing insurance benefits to keep your out of pocket costs low when purchasing contacts or glasses. The care is always exceptional, and the doctors are extremely personable and kind. Ive been going here for a couple years for all my vision needs, and dont think Id consider going anywhere else!

(They offered to have them ready in 20-30 minutes, but I opted to pick them up the next day.) Im wearing the glasses now, and they are both comfortable on my face and perfect for my eyes.

Im someone who actually enjoys going to the eye doctor, however, if you are someone that is nervous or gets stressed when thinking about going you should definitely check out this place! Great customer care from the moment you walk in and continues throughout the experience. I saw Dr. Shah, who took the time to really explain what she was seeing with my eyes and current prescriptions and made sure that I actually understood what her plan was for my vision over the next year. I didnt feel like I was just an in-and-out number/customer and truly valued the experience that I received.

I went in for an eye exam and to get my prescription updated. The check in process was incredibly easy (coffee, hot chocolate, etc. provided) and the exam itself was both painless and quick. They have a lab on the bottom floor so you can get your prescription changed quickly and painlessly. I’ll definitelt be going back!

I went in to Vision Boutique Lakeview for an eyeglass vision renewal after my eyeglass prescription expired a year ago. Dr. Helens eye exam was very through and she really did a great job explaining my eye glass prescription change, and how I can keep my eyes healthy. I needed a slight eye glass prescription change, so I immediately saw optician Jason.Previously, I typically purchased neutral looking eye glass frames at LensCrafters that werent very exciting and did help me stand out. Jason immediately identified that I needed a bold new look. After reviewing several options, I found a pair of frames from an independent company in California that I couldnt have found at the big box eye glass stores, and further these frames fit very comfortably.Jason offered to have the glass lenses cut and ready in 15 minutes. Derek did an amazing job with preparing the glasses, and they were ready before the promised time. I literally walked out with my new eye glasses within an hour in arriving. I dont think Ill go to another eye glass store in Chicago. Thanks for the new found confidence.

Vision boutique has been my go-to for years! Ive worn glasses since I was 8, so at 32 I can say Ive been to MANY eye doctors. Dr. Helen Tzanetakos is the best! That said, I suddenly found myself with what turned out to be an eye infection during Covid Shelter-in-Place. I had been intending on making a regular appointment around this time because I was a few months overdue. I was concerned that the Doctor would not see me because it had been a while, but Dr. Neil not only made time for me via telehealth, but he was able to diagnose the problem quickly! Matt, who helped me set up the appointment and paperwork for their new system was kind, patient, and genuine, helping me troubleshoot while I only had one eye to use.Really looking forward to my usual eye exam when shelter in place is over!

This place is awesome! From check in to check out I felt comfortable and informed. Check in was easy and quick and I was taken to the pre exam room immediately even though I had arrived 20 minutes early. Rosie was great and made sure to explain each step as she did some initial testing before my visit with the doctor. She also made sure to wipe down all of the machines to ensure they were sanitized prior to having me use them. Dr. Tzanetakos was friendly, prompt and addressed my concerns. When getting new sunglasses, Derek was super helpful letting me know what my options were, what my insurance would cover and made recommendations for styles. I first met Derek last year when he helped my husband pick out new glasses and am always impressed with his level of service. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure you leave happy and stay happy. Overall a great experience, I will definitely be back.

Dr. Boldus was really knowledgeable - he was able to identify an inaccurate diagnosis from a previous doctor and did his diligence to identify changes (for the better!) in my vision. I didnt feel rushed, and thats hard to come by in a medical office in Chicago.

As for the frames, my only complaint is that I have a hard time choosing between frames whenever I visit.Lastly, if you have vision insurance, they are great at figuring out the best options for you!Vision Boutique for the win!
