Nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. really nothing but good experiences here. it has a good interior. reminds me of a restaurant in philadelphia that i enjoyed.

Firecakes has an awesome selection of donuts! Unique seasonal changing flavors, and the old fashioned donuts are basic perfect. Doughy with light crisp exterior and a great ratio of glaze to match. Experimental with flavors but not so crazy that it makes you question the basic integrity of a donut.

Incredible donuts. fresh and interesting combinations. The only sad thing is that it looks like they have such an extensive menu but because of the size of their locations, they only make about 6-7 of their various donuts every day. If you are looking for a specific donut you saw on the menu be sure to call ahead to make sure they have what you are looking for or you may be disappointed.

I dont like doughnut normally! But this espresso filled cute doughnuts are amazing!

REVISION TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW...Firecakes corporate office responded to my below review shortly after it posted. My contact Rob did a great job remedying the situation and even went a step further to treat my office to a box of donuts. It made everyones day. This gesture also got them (2) more patrons who had never eaten Firecakes before. At the end of the day we all make mistakes and I understand that... What is great about Firecakes is: They are willing to listen and accept the feedback and fix the problem. This is definitely a company I will continue to support! I am really happy with the remedy and the quick attention to my issue!Before paying I told the staff member that I wanted to use my accumulated points. Their system however did not recognize me at all and I ended up paying for the 7 donuts. I was told that they would look into it and asked that I give them my name, email address and phone number and the Manager would get back to me on the matter. No one called (Its been 5 days). Shortly after leaving I received an automated email from Firecakes confirming the # of points I had (over 200). I will not be visiting this location again.

Yum. Most creative flavors of the doughnut spots I went to in Chicago. The triple chocolate was very good. Peanut butter was tasty as well.

Dont come here. We saw this on a list of must-try foods but when we arrived, no employee was there. After waiting a few minutes, someone did come, presumably from the toilet, and they werent dressed professionally at all. The whole thing was just unappetizing. And then the donut ice cream sandwich we got was the most average thing ever. It wasnt even nicely wrapped or decorated at all. It looked NOTHING like advertisements.

Came here late morning to try one of their doughnuts and was pretty excited since they have gotten awesome reviews. I ordered the honey glazed doughnut and honestly it was nothing to rave about. It was good but nothing spectacular, maybe I should have tried something else? The flavor of the glaze was good, and the consistency was ok, but nothing close to melt in your mouth. Would like to give it another try and have a different flavor!

Posted hours state that this location is open from 7am-2pm on Saturdays. Walked over in the rain this morning (Staurday) to get some doughnuts with a friend that was in from out of town only to find that this location is closed on Saturdays. Not cool!

Very pricey, decent donuts.

Donuts were dry. Ive never had a dry Firecakes before... definitely not coming to this location again.
