Great place to go to. They have everything for every job. And the price is unbelievablePlus the people who work there, are always so helpful and nice as well.Im a painter. At the regular paint store a good brush is $22. But at this place its 5 and actually the brushes are so much better than a regular Purdy brush. Atlas has Stanley brand. Ill never get a Purdy again.

This hidden, hole in the wall hardware store is mainly for contractors. It is possible to set up an account without a lot of paperwork. (You have to have an account). It is NOT retail...consumer friendly. But they have a very large stock of hard to find things. Things that contractors and repairmen need. If you are a skilled homeowner, with some DYI skills, and you have experienced frustration because the local big-box hardware store did not carry the tiny little stupid part you needed to get your job done....then try this place.Their prices are pretty good. I saw a toolbox from DeWalt, for $49 that I just purchased from Berlands House of Tools for $69 (yeah #$#%@^!!!)

Tucked away? Maybe ought to be locked away. Called for availability of mulch, got transferred three times, including to someone in the office upstairs whose dialogue was punctuated by rather long periods of silence which one usually encounters among friends who later check into rehab, waited ten minutes, finally had a bizarre conversation with the final person in which I repeated wood chip several times and he answered red chip? It was like being in the rabbit hole. It was finally determined that they did not have wood chip mulch, only the red mulch, which, since it looks like a bad hallucination, pretty much fits the experience. The Idiocracy has arrived.

Been doing business with them for over 20 years!! They may not be up to par with technology, but they do have a good variety of items at competitive pricing.

I shop here for work literally all the time (2-3 times/week), and we save *so* much money by shopping here. Mini blinds for $5, Purdy roller covers for $3, GFIs for $12, supply lines for $2, etc., etc.

Unbelievably large selection. this hardware store is tucked away on a side street behind the intersection of montrose and cicero aves. no lumber, just lots of hardware, tools and building supplies.
