Stay away from this business. I filed a complaint against this company with Better Business Bureau and others.Summary: Delays, lack of transparency, false promises and most importantly shoddy job, lack of respect for your dollars, timeFew details:I hired J & E GLASS INC to install a new shower glass shower door in my newly remodeled shower in the month of August 2021. The installation was delayed several days and once the door was installed, it wasnt properly sealed. Water was leaking out of the shower and flowing into the closet which has brand new carpet installed. Apart from ruining the new carpet, this leaked water poses a hazard because someone might slip and fall. Since the shower door is glass, the risk is higher.I clearly explained the situation to Javier and after several calls and messages and failed promises over weeks, Javier sent a technician on September 9, 2021 and the technician did not fix the issue and water continues to leak. I sent him photos showing where the leakage was occurring and Javier said he will send a technician again but hasnt responded till date.Javiers daughter has been answering the phone now and even though she promised she will fix the asap, nothing has been done and the same thing continues - lack of respect for other peoples time and money and business.I am attaching pictures to show the poor job that this company did!

Unfortunately my contractor hired J&E to install appx 45 new windows and a glass foyer door/sidelight to my 3 unit building in 2017 and it’s been HELL ever since. Most of the windows were installed crooked, are out of alignment preventing locking, or are too small causing separation from the walls, water damage, insects, and heating/cooling energy loss. Now I have tenants who have suffered losses due to water damage that I will have to compensate them for. I will definitely be hiring an attorney and notifying the BBB and OIG. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Very unprofessional. Told me he was going to come to my store to repair my glass. Never showed up. Called him again and he said he was busy and was going to arrive the next day. Never arrived. Do not recommend. I found someone else to fix. Seems like a shady/fake business.

This guy is very rude and unprofessional. The owner promised me for a week straight that he would be able to come fix the window to my store. He never showed up he blocked my number out his phone I have prof of everything. I’m very disappointed my grand opening is tomorrow. Heart broken is not even the word.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They measured my space for a shower door with no laser. They came install my doors and damaged my ceiling. They didnt bring the correct door handle so they said they would return. They came back with a new glass piece, this time with the right door handle and wrong size door.They do not communicate with you. You consistently have to call them to ask what is going on with the installation. When I spoke to owner regarding the damage he asked me what particular race I was because all I did was complain. This is not the way to do business with customers. I was fed up the second time around so I decided to have them remove everything and leave my property. Aside from the ceiling damage, there are chipped tiles next to the holes where the door was along with permanent marker on my tile. They are not professional and their prices are not reasonable. I contacted a reputable glass company in Chicago and I was quoted $200 less. I have contacted them about the damage and they have yet to respond.

I strongly urge not to deal with this company. We had two installations by them and both were faulty. Unfortunely the projects were back to back and we found out by the time it was too late. There was no weather stripping on the doors even though they were exterior doors. The solution to not installing a proper threshold was screwing a rubber flap on a brand new door. The gaskets leaked and we came to find out by the contractor we hired to repair the work that the installation was missing a critical component to provide a seal to the floor. I offered many opportunities for their Managment team to rectify the situation but after they were paid they did not make any attempt to see the problems in person. A company that does not stand by their work is not good for any project. Please choose who you bring on your project as their work will be a reflection of yours.
