I called in first before going in great customer service. Needed some jewelry checked for quality of karat, they have an xrf scanner. Also had some other jewelry that im looking to sale checked and (they offered me a great deal). Who would have thought, some straight up fair business in the Chicagoland area lol. Highly recommend them, also going back to pick up troy ounce bar great price if your in the area.

Went to Chicago Coin Company Today and was very dissatisfied with the service. I read a couple of reviews afterwards and I must concur I hope I was not treated the way I was because of my ethnicity Im Black. The tall female was very rude and belligerent. Glen was ok. It was a customer after me that was buzzed in immediately (he was Caucasian)But probably wont be back and wont refer anyone there !!!! Customer Service Goes a long way and fairness means alot. You never know who youre shunning away just a word of advice 🤔

I called, asked for a certain type of coin and how many. We agreed on a price and when I arrived they stuck to it. What more can I ask?

This is easily the best place to buy or sell precious metals in the Chicagoland area (including the suburbs). Wonderful staff, considerable selection, and very fair pricing.

I came all the way across town to view some silvers to stack, and when I got in, I was quickly disappointed. They told me, in an uncomfortable fashion, that they wouldnt allow me to come in to the showcase to take a look at their items. That I would have to be handled at the register in the front room; however, their was a man in the showcase being shown, enthusiastically, all the goods they had to offer. The man was Caucasian, and I am an African American man. I only hope that that wasnt the issue, but it sure felt that way.

If you are in the trade, CCC is the place to go for liquidating your metals. They pay top dollar and are a much better alternative to refining. Glen and Bill are pros! Check them out!

Was very disappointed. Went there with the intentions of spend a fair amount of money. Had $6k in cash on me. I Was told I could not come into look. That it was against insurance policy. They didnt really carry coins and where mainly a wholesale distributor of bullion. However there was an individual back being shown all kinds of things. I understand the need for precaution but I told the man what coins I was specifically looking for so he would know I wasnt some reject just looking to gain entrance and rob the place. For the record I am 45, white, clean shaven, know how to dress and know what soap and water is used for and make a very good living.
