Great shop. Owner is very friendly and easy to work with. I had a squier bass VI set up done and he talked me through what he would do and gave me some recommendations on strings to make it play and sounds as good as possible. Really a wonderful guy. Prices are extremely reasonable.His guitar builds are awesome the man is a true Craftsman. Im really happy overall and cant recommend him enough.If your looking for a set up done call him first before guitar Center or any other shop.

I highly recommend Chicago Guitar Space for any guitar repairs. I brought in a Taylor acoustic guitar that was basically unplayable and after Richard’s (The Owner) repair, it plays better than it did brand new! Richard is a an expert craftsmen and has a real passion for the instruments he works on. I was really impressed by his attention to detail and holistic care for the guitar. After my experience with Richard, I simply wouldn’t want to work with anyone else.
