At the time I bought a used 2005 Honda accord and my experience was awesome so it was a No Brainer to go back for my next vehicle purchase. UPDATE: Service:Selena is beyond disrespectful in all ways possible. My mom went to get service done on my car and she was so rude!!! I am not the only one to have an experience like this with her, based off reviews. I know this shouldn’t be tolerated, but unfortunately it has been.Great experience . My sales person was patient with me and open to addressing all of my concerns and answering any questions I had. Very happy with my new car.

After looking at the reviews I wasnt too sure about this place. However as soon as I walked in I was welcomed like it was a home. I wasnt sure which car I was looking for. Jose, a sales associate, gave me great information on both models and helped me choose the best car for me. Mike Siddiqui, the sales manager, gave me the BEST trade in price for my car. Both awesome people and friends for life. REMEMBER most people wont write a review of the good, they will only review the bad.
Five stars for Adrienne! I came in looking to buy a 2013 Chevy Sonic, so not exactly a super expensive or flashy car. Even though Adrienne works on the new car side of the dealership, she went out of her way to take me across the street to the used car lot, and then stayed with me through the entire process, from test driving to credit application to driving off the lot. It was a long process, but it was as pain-free as buying a car can be. Everyone else was great too, but highly recommend working with Adrienne!
Sincerely the most terrible place in my whole life. I ordered online and received confirmation email. Then I spent 2h taking a train to Chicago but they told me that the vehicle has been sold when I arrived there.
Joaquin & Martin did an amazing job helping me get a Pilot Touring 2021. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Wrong!!The review was written incorrectly. The sales person, Joaquin, forced me to write this review based on what he said. When I took the car home and drove the car for the 2nd time in 2 weeks, I realized the driver rear-view mirror was shaking. So, I took my Honda Pilot back for Service and scheduled for next Saturday on July 31. Hilarious!!! The Service emailed me that the charge would be $137.Then, I called the Sales guy and he said, I only sell the car, but not responsible for anything.Everyone, please be careful. I would NOT recommend to buy your vehicle at this dealership!!!Honda City called me a week after I wrote this review. This call really calm my disappointment. They also did not charge for the side-view mirror since my vehicle is still under warranty.Update on Nov 2: When I called them & left a voice message, they never called back, happened multiple times.
It’s a no… we wanted to see a car and we kept calling days or hours before getting there, to make sure the car was not sold prior to our arrival. And still, we get there, we sit down, our salesman comes to us just to tell us it was already sold. Drove 2 hours for no reason. there is clearly no communication within their departments so I am leaving a bad review.
I called into Honda City, spoke to Mike Siddiqui he had the vehicle ready for me, I was in and out less then two hours. Previously had a deposit at a different Honda dealer (couldnt tell me when they would get the vehicle) Come to Honda City they have vehicles in stock and outstanding service. My sister purchased a 2021 CRV in July 2021; twice she has had to call service due to car not starting after it sits for several days. They came out jumped the battery. She took it to Honda service department after second jump; they told her she would have to pay for diagnostic. After stating she was not paying a penny for a car that doesn’t have a 1000 miles and she has only had it 2 months. Then Honda said, they would have to keep the car for several days, and they have no rentals… REALLY! Inconvenience her; she can go without a car until they figure out what’s the problem.Good customer service????

I needed to get my son’s car in for service at Honda City Chicago and I called to schedule an appointment. I called and got transferred a few times and finally left a voicemail. No one responded to my message, no one called me back. I reached out to the salesman who sold us the car, Cesar Ambrosio, and learned he was no longer with Honda City Chicago. But here’s why my experience was positive - Cesar, who didn’t have to and who doesn’t even work there anymore, made some calls on my behalf and got us in at Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn. He got me in touch with Jonathan, who was able to help me out right away. I now know where I’ll be going for service from now on. Thank you, Cesar, for going above and beyond when you didn’t have to. Honda City Chicago lost a great salesman and any future business from me.

This isn’t the first time we’ve came in this Honda city location and we were not let down!!! As returning customers we came in (7/16/202) knowing what we wanted and Jose Perez attended to us immediately. Every question we had he solved it for us. I recently financed my first car through Honda City Chicago. My experience walking through the door was a great one. Adrienne ended up helping me through the sale. She was kind and bubbly and honest. She was patient but quick with paperwork and answered any of my questions with ease. The test drive was great! She was very entertaining with some accessories in the car.I got a good interest rate.It was snowing so they sent me out with my new 2019 Honda Civic through the side door on the main road. I hesitated so the door came down on the back of my car. However, they quickly took it to the shop and repaired it in no time.I loved Adrienne! She is fantastic. If you ask for her, you wont regret it.

Im rating this review 5 stars only because of the service Ulises Castillo provided. When I came to my appointment to purchase a uses 2019 Honda accord, I was informed it wasnt ready. Even though when I called the previous day they said it was ready and I should come by. I was upset because with my work schedule I wasnt going to find time to come again. But Ulises offered to deliver the car the next day, I was audibly relieved and contempt with the situation.Thank you honda city for a lovely car, and especially thank you Ulises Castillo for the help and understanding my situation.

Had a great experience working with the staff here, never even had to step into the dealership which was great because my schedule is insanely busy! Did everything online and via phone and they delivered the van to my house. Sales manager Carolina is a superstar, she went above and beyond to make sure we got the color combo we wanted! This was the worst experience ever being here. I would never want to recommend this honda city charges lots of extra for no reason. The extra price which doesn’t even shown online. When we talked to sales manager and Salesperson (Brian) they were so rude to us didn’t even answer are questions. She said this is a private honda city so if you want to call corporate you can walkout of the dealership. The sales manager was the rude with us. I would never recommend this dealership.

I had a deal in the works. Was quoted a price and ready to buy. I then went to visit the dealer to confirm it was the model I wanted which it was and then asked for an out the door price to be emailed to me. When they gave the price the numbers were 2 thousand dollars higher than originally quoted. When I asked about it I was told the vehicle had a pro package. So... I went to Hondas website and there is no such thing for 2k. I asked the salesman again to confirm what it was and he told me it was paint protection (about $350) floor mats ($150) and wheel locks ($20). Mark up is insane!! I responded that I didnt want them and to please adjust the price and was met with the lie that it was allocated to the vehicle. Another lie. Honda does not allocate add on parts. I called American Honda. This is really upsetting when a dealer is trying to take advantage of a supply issue, price gauge during a pandemic and then straight up lie to a potential buyer.****Update**** The responding customer service agent NEVER RETURNED my email or attempted to contact me. Dont be fooled by the feeble attempt to appear that they take care of their online reviews. I gave it plenty of time and no contact whatsoever! Honda should really look at how City Honda tarnishes the Honda brand.*****Update 2**** I finally got a call from a manager who wanted to make the shady bait and switch tactic right but he needed the to talk to the owner first. Kind of suspicious when a manager has to get permission from an owner to do the right thing. All they had to do was honor the quoted price in which I have an email to prove. Well a week has gone by and no contact whatsoever. This is a strong statement that money is everything to this dealer. Honda Corp needs to read these reviews and see how this dealer is ruining the Honda name.

Ive been here for 3 hours and my car havent been touch and all i need is a transmission and oil change........5 hours later to just finish hearing about my expection! Just to hear i need more stuff done and its expensive! They could at least go down on their DI $137 IS TO MUCH! i had to get two which is wild. $300 to not get anything done
My daughter bought her car there in 2016 and the air conditioning is failing and she received a letter from Honda saying that there was a fault in the condenser that would take it to the dealer and they will check it at no cost, which my daughter did and there they told her That they are going to charge her.39,99 which confused my daughter and said okay, do it but the price was 399.00 and she signed (her mistake)but 400 dollars to check and say the compressor does not work Well, it is an abuse and since she is a woman they always take advantage of it, it is ridiculous what they charged her, I hope my daughter complained to the consumer department! Or better business bureau

They charge a $137 fee just to “diagnose” the problem, i.e. run a car code reader. I told them I knew what the code and issue was and came in to change out a part in the EVAP system, and they told me they’d still need to charge a $137 fee to run a test to diagnose the problem I know I have.
This 5 star review is for Adrienne. From the minute i walked through the door she was super helpful and made me feel at home. I wasnt fully sure if i was going to purchase a new car when i first came to Honda City but Adrienne helped me find the car i was looking for that fit all my needs. She took me step by step through the process by giving me a thorough explanation of the vehicle while test driving the car and showed me how to use every feature that the car has. When going to car dealerships, im always nervous that someone is trying to use me as a quick sale but Adrienne was the complete opposite. This review is for the service center. I’ve been a loyal customer bringing my car here for everything from inspections, new tires, oil changes, etc... I’ve called 9 times over the span of 4 days to find out if free rotations were included with a previous tire purchase. Every time that I’ve called I’ve been transferred with no answer. They even have a deal on their website right now for free rotations with purchase of tires but no one seems to know the answer nor has anyone attempted to check in my purchase history. It’s also not like I’m speaking to the same person each time I’ve called - seems like no one in this place has an answer for anything. Won’t be trusting them with my car again.

Worst experience with a service shop!I’m from little village, Our garage mechanic shops can teach the Honda management what a good customer service should be!!Without mentioning the poor quality of work received which is why I’m giving them this rating.I’ll leave a second review that describes my experience.
Was given a price quote that they wouldnt honor once I got to the dealership and had spoken with a sales representative. There was a fine print, really tiny letters and with a light grey coloring that makes it impossible to even tell it was there. The fine print is vague, the explanation is even worse.They finally agreed to the price after much sing and dance routine, you know the sales manager coming over acting like hed do anything to make the buyer happy. But then, they tried getting the difference from my trade-in. Then the finance guy tried to do some bait and switch with the numbers. Auto shoppers have a high level of distrusts for dealerships, it seems Honda city tried living up to the stealership moniker dealerships have been known for. Stay away from this dealership if you dont know what to watch out for.

Joaquin helped me purchase my new 2021 Honda HRV EX & was very helpful. He answered my millions of questions and made sure I was all set and ready to go.
I have been to many Honda dealerships and this is the worst one, perhaps even the worst dealership I have been to period. Price gouging, time wasting, etc. After calling multiple times to confirm the price, I arrived at the dealership after an hour drive. The dealer tried to add a set of supposedly non-negotiable set of features (Phantom Footprint which is usually only an added $200) which I have seen at NO other dealerships in Chicagoland for $1800, as well as ANOTHER residual charge for ANOTHER $1800, and she would not explain what that one was for. If that werent enough, we were lied to. Dealer claimed the sticker explaining these extra charges was on the car and it was not when we first test drove it. It was added later by her or a porter while we were waiting for financing information. Please shop elsewhere for your Honda!
Employees just keep talking to each other and look at their phones. No body greets or ask if I need help. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere.

I have been going to this Honda for over a year. I will NEVER go back again after dealing with the service department. I was called to come in for a product recall. After fixing my car, I drove away and two lights came on plus a noise. When I tried to take it back in, they refused to let me come in and told me to come back in two days. When I came back in with my car, I was told that there was a 0% chance that they were at fault. They would not even look at it without charging me money. When speaking to the RUDEST MANAGER EVER, he assured me again that there was absolutely no way that this could have been the cause due to Honda. When questioning the manager, I found out that he is not a mechanic nor does he have the experience to make that statement. Between him and Selena, they both made me feel very uncomfortable with their attitudes. I will NEVER go back to this Honda again. If you take your car to this place, you car WILL come out broken and they will refuse to even acknowledge this. I am appalled by the service at Honda. My car is still currently broken and Honda will not call me back. Shame on you Honda for your poor service and your even poorer staff.

Went in with my husband looking to purchase a new Honda CR-V. This was the only place that had them in stock, now I know why.Test drove the vehicle & was ready to buy from Jose when we were told they would charge extra for certain colors and ALMOST $5000 over MSRP for two packages that are add-ons which I didnt want.The tall women everyone speaks of- the sales manager whose name I missed- tells my husband and I that:- Everyone is selling the add-on package (theyre not & if they do not 5000 extra)- Its mandatory (no its not)- She cant be the only dealership not adding it on (we ended up going to a dealership in Countryside that didnt upcharge us.)She brags about being the only dealer w/ CR-Vs in stock, well of course since she thinks all dealerships are trying to screw people over in a pandemic.I responded I was willing to get the gap even though I could easily get it through my own insurance company, but would not pay for these mandatory add-ons. She would only state she could try lowering the add-on fees, so we walked.As a 2nd gen Hispanic woman, it was obvious this is the kind of person who would have tried taking advantage of ppl like my parents. They think having a tall white woman walk in to do the financing is going to intimidate our people into making a horrible financial decision-please!Dont let your parents or yourself be taken advantage of, shes lying and there are dealerships out there not ruining their salesmens chance at making their commission.
Very straightforward assessment of services needed after inspection, I also like that we get a copy of the inspection report to look over. The option to use Lyft for drop off and pickup while the car is getting worked on is great-Lyft had cancelled on me a few times but Reina kept on trying until they finally sent a car for pickup
My girlfriend and I went in for a new car considering we haven’t bought ourselves anything in a while lol. We walked in and Jose Perez was so welcoming, he sat down with us and explained everything so clear and made sure we understood what we were signing. We walked out with a 2017 and we couldn’t be any happier. We loved the process with Jose. We definitely will recommend people to him.

I was a bit weary going to refinance my car because last time I came, I did not have a good experience. However today, I was extremely happy with how Joaquin handled our situation. I’m glad I was able to refinance my car with barely any increase to our monthly pay and hardly any down payment. He explained everything clearly, and I genuinely believe he had our best interest at heart.

I’d like to formally thank and recognize their manager Mr.Jesus Jauregui. He is extremely knowledgeable in the car business, very professional, and he will explain things to you in detail whenever you have any questions or doubts. It is obvious that him and his team work collectively to provide the best customer experience. I was very impressed by his kindness and willingness to step in and help. I’ve been to other dealerships before and many times the manager doesn’t step into the show room, this shows how involved managers are at Honda. At first I was hesitant due to some of the reviews on here, but my experience was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dealership. I was straight up lied to by both my sales person (Estebon) and the finance department. They price gauged me and then got upset and frustrated when I would counter their offers. They kept telling me that my monthly payments and APR couldnt come down, but suddenly when I decided to pass on the offer all together, they were able to lower them both. I felt pressured to give a good review because my sales person was standing over me and even checked to make sure I left one. This was my first car buying experience with Honda City and it will definitely be my last.

Adrienne Rogers simply rocks. She sold me an Accord Hybrid, with lots of cool gizmos (and none of the useless ones) because she listened to what I wanted and needed. Her knowledge matched what Id learned in a long search (amazing how many salespeople at other dealers didnt understand the hybrids). She LISTENED!!!I chose Honda because after thirty years of Civics, I saw no point in going with another brand. IMNSHO, the quality and reliability is second to none. I came to Honda City because the prices they offered were well below those from other dealerships. I BOUGHT at Honda City because Adrienne Rogers knew her stuff! She was cheerful, upbeat, and a superb salesperson.I appreciated the other people with whom I came in contact (valets, cashiers, insurance monitors, and someone I believe was the big boss). Five Stars for this dealership and Mike Siddiqui.Okay, I was perhaps not the ideal customer, as I had specific needs, and after calling every dealer in the Chicago area Mike, and Lauariel, and the rest of the City Honda team were amazing, they actually did what they said they would do and the sale went perfectly. Buying a car during covid and the current semiconductor chip crisis has been a pain, I was 90% of the way completed with a sale at another dealer and then when I asked for the final pricing, which was okay, the dealer was adding window tint for 3K and other stuff that was not discussed that added 20% to the price. I mean I know tax license and fees are normal, but this was excessive. Somehow I found Mike and City Honda online and the deal went seamlessly. So here is my scenario, I am from California, (dont hate), my daughter was accepted to a post grad school in Chicago and needed a car as public transit was not going to work in her particular location, used cars are a gamble and expensive during covid so I had narrowed my search to Honda, Toyota, Hyundai and Subaru. The City dealer had my preferred car (Civic Sport), which was hard to find, the dealership, though a bit further from my daughters school near oak park, was close to the airport where my wife and daughter were arriving (Midway), and rather than rent a car to shop for a car, I called Mike. I placed a deposit on the car we wanted to hold the car for a couple of days, my wife and daughter arrived at Midway and City Honda sent a driver to pick her up and a ton of stuff, drove to city Honda and completed the transaction. I have to admit, Mike, Lauriel, and the City Honda team took great care of my wife and daughter and in less than 2 hours she had a new Honda and is now living in Chicago. I never write reviews, but as a parent who was getting frustrated with all the calls and nonsense from other dealers, Mike listened to my proposal, called me back, transacted cleanly, and did exactly what they said they would do, and its Covid. I am very happy and so are my wife and daughter. Thanks Mike and City Honda. If any parents are in the same situation I would recommend City Honda . Buy, Fly, Purchase, Airport Pickup, and drive away happy.City is the place.
We had just a great experience buying our new truck from Honda City. We had some concerns about the purchase but the sales people were all very patient with us even though we went past their closing time. Mike was great contacting me throughout the day with updates on the features of the truck. He texted pictures of the truck and went out in the rain to take them. Carolina was a genius at helping us solve a problem with Apple CarPlay. Jose was so nice when we almost pulled out because of the Apple CarPlay issue (which was completely a problem with my phone) and was very patient when we finally decided to take the truck. Dennis was great with the financing of the truck and very fast given that it was late in the evening and we had a long drive home. After all that, I love my truck and I highly recommend Honda City and its excellent service! Thank you Mike, Jose, Carolina and Dennis!

I walked in thinking this was going to be near impossible, however the team at Honda City really pulled though to make this year for me. My sales rep Jesus M. was by far the most professional and understanding representative I have had encountered on this car shopping journey of mine. I was really appreciative of the financial manager as well! He was able to find me a better rate that also got my cars warranty extended by 3 more additional years. Overall, I was just really impressed and will either be buying my next car here or sending my next friend over. Thanks again !!
We had an excellent experience at Honda City, our family has been shopping for SUVs here for years. This time we were fortunate enough to have Adrienne Rogers as our Sales Consultant. From the minute we walked in she made sure to show us all the available inventory, and answer all of our questions. We had a good idea of what we were looking for, but Adrienne patiently went through colors, add-ons, and models. She kindly offered refreshments for our whole family throughout the whole process. As we closed the sale, Esteban did everything he could to help accommodate me and my family, and to speed along the process. As with all dealers, patience throughout the process helped ensure I received the best deal while trading in my prior vehicle. Marked up a 2022 Civic by 3k. Went to another dealership they sold me it at MSRP (sticker price).
Ive never left a bad review for any business in my life, but I had a really bad experience here. I went in to buy a used Honda CR-V listed at $5,500. I test drove it yesterday and told them I could come back the next day. The salesman told me he would have it detailed and ready for me in the morning and would give me a call as soon as it was ready. I called in the morning and got sent to voicemail. Left a message, and my call was never returned. Checked their website and they had all of the sudden listed the car at $9,000. I called again and was told Id be transferred to the direct sales line, and was instead sent to voicemail again. I can only assume they didnt want to sell me the car, because they had finally inspected it and realized it was worth more than the original listing. Finally got a hold of someone and told them I would be there in the afternoon to see the car again. When I got there, they said they were repairing the alignment and replacing the tires. They left me in the office for an hour and gave me the runaround. I heard one of their salesmen talking about how bad he had to take a piss. It was super gross. Then finally I was about to leave and they told me the car was not safe to drive. I knew they probably just wanted to raise the price because they messed up on their original listing and the car was actually in great shape. They told me they had to auction it off because it didnt pass the safety inspection, but wouldnt give me any details on the inspection report, or tell me what was wrong with the car. They said the only way I could buy it is if I signed a liability waiver. Later today, I checked the original listing that I found on cargurus and theyve updated the price to $9,000 on that posting as well.
