Best Market in Chicago, highly recommended, they have everything you need at super cheap prices. I LOVE GREENLEAF FOOD MARKET!!!

They closed before 9:30 PM, though their posted store hours are until 10:00 PM. The two attendants on site kept walking into the back of the store with the front door locked & pretended to call the cops when they walked back to front to yell at me that they closed at 9 PM (which is not what was listed on Google Maps or on their storefront window). It became quickly apparent that they simply closed early so they could do whatever it was they were doing in the back. This truly was the worst customer service experience. I wont be returning as a customer.

You’re phone number doesn’t work. Or your employees just don’t answer the phone. There’s another Indian store a few miles away. Go there instead so this store front can be replaced by something useful.

It is good to have indian grocery near by for sure especially in this lockdown situation. But BE VERY CAREFUL while buying from this store if you choose to do so. 5 out of 10 items I bought tasted very old and I had to throw it away, there was no dates on them. So be sure to understand how to read it from batch number. These items were manufactured in 2017!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE! SHOULD NOT BE OUT THERE!Also, keep eye on billing on checkout. They do not provide full bill by default. DO NOT TRUST BLINDLY

It’s no longer an Indian store which is a shame. They are basically trying to get rid of whatever Indian stock they have. I call to see if they have an item and they say yes and make me drive over only to not have them.

Greenleaf Food Market on S. Michigan Ave is easily the best store in Chicago. Phenomenal customer service, excellent selection of hard to find goods and a supremely clean store.

Very good customer service and huge variety of desi stuff at reasonable cost.
