I couldnt be more pleased with the workmanship of my stainless steel stove top counter top. This is the final phase of my long awaited kitchen remodel. To see my vision for this space start to come together is surreal. My job was small, compared to the projects I saw the employees in the shop diligently working on. I was elated to learn my job was completed in less than a week, especially after observing all of the work going on in the shop. The owner was very personable and took the time to explain the process to me. I would definitely recommend Avenue Metal to my friends and I will definitely be a repeat customer, should I need their services again. I included before and after pics. Cant wait to finish my back splash.

I emailed the address on the website with my specs and what Id like to hear back about. Waited a week. Nothing. I called and was told that no one checks the email listed on the website. Ok... I was told to email Mark. So I did. Waited a week. Nothing. Emailed again. Nothing. Called. Sorry, Mark is gone for the day. Emailed again. Nothing. Its been over 3 weeks. Dont waste your time with this company.

33 emails. Yes, that is what it took to get the job done...and I wouldnt have changed the experience at all! Jim and his family are the epitome of a true Chicago family business. The 33 emails were a friendly discourse between Jim and his new customer (me)...with Jim wanting to ensure that everything was fabricated just right...knowing that his companys craftwork would be the finishing touch to a once-in-a-lifetime home kitchen remodel.Now, you would think that we had a big job for Avenue Metals...but in fact, I imagine it was one of their smallest jobs of the year...a simple stainless steel backsplash...yet, there was Jim...wanting to ensure every last detail was thought through and accounted for.If you are ever in the need of any custom metalwork, look no further...as long as you can accommodate a business owner that cares more about your job than you can even comprehend...you are in good hands with Jim and his family.
