They will lure you in with a loaner guarantee then when it comes time not have one available for you. Also received a quote to flush our transmission for 209.00, to keep the warranty it has to be done. Received a phone call after dropping it off that it will be 309.00. My wife had taken her 2014 Chevy Cruze in to John Holt for scheduled work on alignment, tire rotation and two replaced. Well, since that service, my wifes car was returned to her with two new issues that were apparent the same day. One issue is a popping noise when coming to a stop and when starting to go forward. The second issue is the car pulls drastically to the right.... She showed me by letting go of steering wheel while driving and in two seconds the car moved into the shoulder... This was never a problem before her visit.My main concern is that when she contacted John Holt they told her for $130 they would look at it...I believe both issues are a result of them fixing her car because both issues deal with parts of the car that involve the alignment...

John did all the legwork for me. He found me the best used Cadillac in the whole world. People walk up to me in parking lots all the time just to tell me how beautiful my car is. He’s a great man, an honest man and you will be glad for a lifetime that you did business with him.
Sorry for the lengthy post.I would NOT recommend John Holt & if I could do ZERO stars I would. We put my fiancees vehicle in the shop for what we were told was an anti theft issue. They hooked the vehicle up and ran diagnostic codes/test. Again we were told was still just an anti theft issue that just needed to be reset. We picked the vehicle up and not even 6 hours later it stranded us more than 45 miles from our house and we had our 6 children one being an infant under 6 months old with us. We finally get back the shop and tell them its doing the EXACT same thing. The next day we were told it was a relay module that needed to be replaced and not the anti theft issue. When my fiancee questioned why were told previously it was anti theft the response was I am sure you still would have had the anti theft issue! So after already paying $130 for the issue now we were quoted $813 for the apparent new issue. They told us we were to pay for the part prior to ordering due to it being classified as a special part. We paid $490 for the part. It charged the account on 9/4/2020 and it cleared our bank on 9/8/2020. When the part arrived they called and asked to set up a day and time to bring the vehicle in for servicing. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN THERE NOT RUNNING THE WHOLE TIME. Then over the next 3 days, we received 2 more phone calls asking the same thing to set up a time to bring the vehicle in for servicing. FINALLY, the vehicle is fixed. My fiancee & brother pick up the vehicle last Friday. The gentlemen who assisted them told them they had already paid for everything. My fiancee then told him that we had only paid for the part and still had a balance. He was persistent that the charges were paid. So my fiancee and brother left. Now we have since received numerous text messages from personal cell phone numbers from John Holts employees regarding payment of $813. In fact, one text message informed us that we WERE going to be there by 5:30pm to make the payment. That actually was the first text message we received regarding this matter. With my fiancee work schedule and my work location, there is no way possible that either of us would make it close to 5:30. Yesterday evening upon returning home I noticed a strange vehicle sitting in my drive way. When they realized it was my house the backed out and left. However, I pulled in the driveway and they returned. I got out of the vehicle and my children started to get out of car when I noticed the stranger and made them get back in the vehicle. The lady identified herself as Debbie. She told me that she was with John Holt Auto Group and that she needed to speak with my fiancee, who again was still at work. This is beyond scary especially with my young children having someone come to our house in such a way. At this point she informed me the balance of $813. I informed her that it was incorrect that we had already purchased the part and that when we picked the vehicle up the gentlemen was very adamant there was no balance. She told me that he just was NOT aware of what he was doing. I then pulled up my bank information and showed her where the part cleared and then showed up everything up to date because she then claimed they credited the part back on the 10th (I showed her again that there was no credit back). She then left and said she would find out tomorrow (meaning today 9/23/2020) what was going on. I told her to contact my number to clear this up since again my fiancee schedule does not fit to deal with this thoroughly. This is absolutely not acceptable. In fact I still have yet to hear from anyone there today. The vehicle was released to us after my fiancee stated we still owed money, However, it was stated no we did not. John Holt needs to get his employees all on the same page. This is ridiculous and as a family with 6 kids we have to budget and now the lack of communication has really messed with our budget.

I came for routine service on my car and a couple of warranty issues. They did their best to accommodate my transportation needs while they had my car. They just charged us nearly $400 for a 2011 Malibu fuel pump I can find online for less than $200. Now if I can find that part for that price, new, why couldnt they get that part for the same price or lower? 1 owner car that was bought from them. Thats how they show their appreciation for your business. AND they quoted me $620 for the work. Final price was $720. They obviously dont care about return business or word of mouth. And the average score on their review isnt even accurate. You do the math... Now for an update: they used to show how the customer care team would respond to all reviews. Theyve gotten rid of that. At least I cant see it now. Probably because I took them up on their offer to fix the situation. They never returned calls or e-mails. Thats great customer service for ya! Another example of how most businesses truly dont care about the customer experience. I will tell everyone I can, every chance I get.

I was looking for vehicles online. This is the only dealership that would give me any kind of estimate on my trade in. Other dealerships wouldnt even consider giving me an estimate online and when i went to other dealerships their offer on my trade in was a joke. I feel like I did get a good deal on my trade in and my vehicle purchase, however i do wish i would have tried to negotiate a better price on the vehicle i purchased. (Im really bad at that kind of stuff) when we test drove the vehicle the AC was not blowing cold air so they gave me a loaner car and ordered a new part. When I came to pick up my car Michael installed my car seat (Im really bad at that kind of stuff too) so that was very much appreciated!When we decide to trade in my husbands vehicle this WILL be the first place we look at
Drove up from Altus, they had ad advertised price on a 1500 WT Truck. We found the truck they dealer had advertised, went and did the paper-work, guess what, they refused to honor the price and their price was quite higher. We left and drove to Lawton Ram Dealer, bought a truck on their advertised price and they sold me a 2019 Ram 1500. Buyer Be Ware!

I have purchased at least 5 new vehicles from John Holt, three years ago I purchased a new Cadillac ATSV . Great ride!Unfortunately my wife hit a 4x4 post laying in the highway, flattened two tires instantly. I called John Holt because of the 5year 70kRoadside assistance help. My salesman didn’t know about this so he forwarded me to service, they looked up my warranty info and said sorry no coverage.The next month I was at John Holt purchasing a new vette and truck.Mr Holt was helping me, my wife brought me the brochure about the Cadillac coverage... l handed it to Mr holt and told him the story, he said bring the towing bill and I will take care of that, no problem.I did that, next they need proof of new tires purchase, I presented that. I said what does it mater if I had the tires repaired or replaced?Now they want a cancelled check from the tow company, what next, the finger of my first born? He should have not made a promise he could not honor. I spent $125k that day .that towing bill was under $150
We got a call that they needed our car and they could trade in and get a new one. I told the person I talked to our details and my husband and I both filled out the financial information online and sent it in before hand. We drive 45 minutes plus to the dealership just to be told they cant make it happen. The dealership had all the information they needed before we drove over there. We have bought 2 cars from them and we referred my sister in law and she bought a car there, we wont be going back. This is twice now that they said one thing would happen and a completely different thing happened. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the sales person we talked to was extremely nice and welcoming.
Great sales experience from a very honest and professional sales team! I contacted the internet sales team about a new car on clearance and they even let me know that they were paying for tags that weekend and saved me an additional $600, which they didnt have to mention. Also when it took an extra day to get a cruise control added, they delivered the car to my house all the way in Lawton. A couple of years later, they still remembered me and got me the exact new car I wanted from another dealer and still gave me all the same discounts as if it had been in their inventory. They also gave me a great deal on a used, low mileage Corvette that they had already promised to another dealer. When my son went in trying to purchase a car with very poor credit, they still treated us very respectfully and explained all the fees associated with the program he wanted to use. They always treat me and my family in the best way possible and Mr. Holt personally thanked me for my business.

I would recommend NOT having anything to do with the dealership. They claim a 70 points thorough inspection by their highly trained staff which in my experience doesnt matter. The only reason for buying used car at dealership is because they keep the best trades and do minor reconditioning for resale. They decided to sell my car with wire threads showing on out of sight inside wheel indicates alignment need and new tires. This should have been handled before sale offering and priced accordingly. As is they decided to drop the ball and sell an unworthy road vehicle which could have had a blow out and caused serious injury or death. I was nice and gave them a chance to correct their mistake but service is just lip service there. Thank goodness I thought I had a nail in tire and found out. I will never trust these people for anything and they have lost a sale to my daughter as well as any service needs. Dont trust them.
Ive purchased several vehicles throughout my life, and never have I witnessed the unprofessionalism I did in working with Frog at John Holt. When his coworkers walked in to tell him information, he would wait for them to leave and then say condescending remarks. At one point he was standing behind a coworker who was working at a computer and actually took his finger and made the universally recognized sign for crazy around his right temple. The coworker was actually doing a really good job of getting us, the clients, the information we needed. I believe in treating people with respect, so Ill make my purchase from someone who shares that belief. I might pay more, but it is 100% worth it to know that the commission is going to a respectful human being.

John is one of the finest people I know and he always treats me fairly.We ultimately did not buy the 2017 Traverse we were hoping to buy it was not the dealers fault.Chevrolet, in its infinite wisdom, did not include the latest technology, such a Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, in the Traverse line (Traverse outsells other such vehicles 5 to 1, go figure) and even went so far as to REMOVE the HD radio feature from its existence in the Traverse line. Not only did they not move forward, they actually went backwards.Chevrolet needs to hire a Vice President of Common Sense,Please feel free to publish this survey response far and wide.
I Cant speak for the sales department, only the service.... I cant express enough how great it is to actually interact with an HONEST service department...They replaced the reductant tank temp sensor and reservoir on my 2016 Duramax, free of charge of course because they actually honored my emissions warranty that was still valid for 8,000 more miles... I was lied to straight to my face by BYFORD GMC in Duncan, they wanted to charge me 860 dollars for SOMETHING THAT WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.....JOHN HOLT CHEVY...You have earned my business for the foreseeable future for sure.....I wont even mind driving 45 minutes from Lawton just for oil changes and tire rotations...because it is very RARE to interact with a genuinely HONEST service department these days... and I know that I can TRUST YOU. IF YOU LIVE IN LAWTON AND YOU NEED WORK DONE ON YOUR CHEVY...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH CLASSIC OR BYFORD...GIVE JOHN HOLT A CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Justin was a great salesman. However, each time I have spoken to the accounting department or customer service, I was not impressed. For example, at the end of the very short conversation (less than 2 minutes), even though the accountant sounded grumpy and disinterested, I say OK, that answers my question, thank you for your help the accountant on the other end just hangs up. Rude. The people in the accounting department should work on their customer service skills.
