J&W’s is a classic burger joint in downtown Chickasha. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. We never asked for a refill because they constantly topped off our drinks. There was a constant stream of customers in the diner as well as to go orders. We both had hamburgers and they were delicious, exactly what you want when ordering a classic onion burger. The order of fries was massive, enough for 2-3 people, and they were delicious as well. Little Flip Out enjoyed his corn dog and the classic counter seating. If you happen to find yourself around Chickasha and wanting a burger, definitely stop here.
Wonderful! This place was hustle bustle the whole time we were there. Its a Waffle House like operation with bar seating inside. They also have available outdoor seating and all seats stayed occupied inside and out. Awesome staff and food! This is nothing fancy, but thats not the reason to dine here. Their onion burgers were cooked to perfection. Well worth the visit and we will be visiting again.
Small burger joint with a simple menu. I ordered the onion burger and tots. The burger was tasty, but the meat was pretty dry. The tots were very greasy, but they still had a nice crunch to them. Overall the food was okay. The dryness of the burger patty is what made the meal somewhat unappealing. Ill give it another shot in the future.
Good food and decent portions . Waitresses kept the drinks full and very friendly .

I have always had wonderful food and service here whether it is breakfast or lunch. They offer seating at a diner counter only. They are well known for their onion burgers which are delicious! The breakfast offerings are just as tasty. I highly recommend J&W Grill.

Were glad we stopped in while passing through. Its only a few minutes from the interstate, and worth it.It is a small place with counter service and outdoor seats. The ladies taking orders and serving drinks may be the hardest working staff in town, and friendly to boot.J&W serves great, messy onion burgers, piles of hand-cut fries, and awesome coney dogs (my favorite).

This amazing little gem is so small its easy to miss. A slice of Americana that is smash onion burgers, chili dogs, mountains of fries, and best of all... you are seated on red padded stools. Everyone is lined up at the counter with just a couple of feet between you and the cooks who are quickly smashing burgers on their griddle with expert precision. Quite the show if youre not used to it. Like my buddy told me when I asked him what was good... everything.

This place was EXELLENT!!! Great food and the waitress was the best waiterss i have ever had.. my husband took 2 drinks of his tea, and she was on top of it.. his drink was always full .. nice and friendly... will be eating here everytime i go to Chickasaw ❤

This place is awesome. A real burger made with fresh, real meat; cooked right in front of you.The fries were made with real, fresh potatoes. The basket was full to overflowing.The only drawback was the very limited seating for dine in. At 1:30, this place was packed. Which pretty much describes it all.
Greated as I walked in. Served a beverage within seconds of sitting at the counter! Wowed by the service right off the start! My hunger ways got ahold of my decision making and I looked at the menu board and mumbled something that made sense to the server...Double cheeseburger small add bacon and grilled onions with a small side of fries...coming right up sir. The service was top notch. The flavors of the burger ...life changing. The fries were piping hot ... in hindsight I should have stayed with a single Patty burger with cheese, bacon and onion. This place knows how to get someones hunger taken care of. I came in hungry, I left fatter and happier. Thank you J&W grill for satisfying my stomach! Was sick for 2 days after eating here...slaw need work wasnt that great, burger ok now like Sids or that place I think its called Johnnies in El Reno but will try Paw Paws next time.

Cleanliness👎, food👎 Didnt bother to take pictures. First time for me and my wife going there, so we checked the reviews and decided to give it a shot even though there wasnt really any photos and after going I now understand why. Im not mad but I do feel deceived but like I always tell my wife small towns resturants always have lots of good reviews, becuase there isnt many choices. We could not finish our meals. The bread and the meat tasted spoiled.This fat boy has never put food done even if its not great but after two bites I just couldnt do it. Ive never had food instantly make me sick before. * it might have been good in the past but today is was not.
The food here is always great! Theyre always quick, the staff is very nice, they make sure you drinks are filled (when you dine in), and they offer free delivery as well!

They are the best hamburger plus they are really big. And an order of fries easily feeds at least two people. I also remember going there as a kid( 50+ years ago) with grandparents and its still just the same.

I have been there twice this month. I must say they are not consistent. The first time it was great. The second time just wasnt so good... Idk. Maybe a different cook?? I was bummed out. It was so great the first time. Maybe I should have had a dig with slaw the second time???(. Oh well I will try again at a later date.

Extremely crowded, no sanitation between customers, fried cooked in peanut oil dripping grease and oil, the burgers were greasy and sloppy, everything was handled with hands no gloves no hand washing, the meat for the burgers is kept in a metal bin no wrapping aroynd tye meat to protect it, nit sure if the bin was colled or not. It did not look like it.
Classic, one of the original grilled onion burger spots. Youll be hard pressed to find a better onion burger anywhere. Fast, friendly, and delicious. Its a little small so not great for big groups, but there is a table outside and you can always order to-go and have a picnic out take it home. Its a piece of Oklahoma history and everyone should have J&W onion burger at least one in their life!

Top notch food and service. I had 4 large hamburger patties with grilled onions and cheese with pickles and mustard, it was on point!! Kudos to the flat top grilling beast keeping the food going. Brandy runs J&W like a well oiled machine, she knows customer service. Everytime I go here it never disappoints.

I really love J&Ws! When I want a Onion Burger and some really good French fries I go to J&Ws. The only thing is its ALWAYS so dirty behind the counter. I know it is a very small area to cook on the grill and 2 servers but it just makes it look that much worse.
