After having a terrible experience with Lowe’s delivery, or should I say non delivery, I called Hastings and asked how soon a washer could be delivered. They told me the next day. I went in and purchased a Speed Queen washer which I am very pleased with. The sales people were very educated on the product and very nice. And I was very impressed with the delivery team. They were here a lot earlier than they said they would be and they were very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend anyone to deal with Hastings. You definitely won’t regret it!

Absolutely a great experience! The ladies were very helpful, cheerful, and honest. They know their stuff and share their knowledge in order to help customers pick the correct machines. I bought a Speed Queen washer and dryer combination from them . Great, fair prices and they do offer delivery and removal of old machines for a small fee. I highly recommend them! Local, friendly, and fun to talk with - these ladies deserve your consideration. I will be back when I need another appliance.

We have dealt with Hastings for over 40 years. Anytime we need an appliance, it’s the only place we go. It has always been a pleasure to deal with Carol. She is an honest person who is very knowledgeable about the products she sells. It is very nice to do business with her.

No LG here 😝So last night our refrigerator dead for the 2nd time since we bought it six years ago from Sears, it was a LG, RIP 🪦 My husband and I were on the search for a new one and went to a few places before finding this mom and pop shop. I am a small business myself so supporting small businesses is one of my favorite things to do. I walked in exhausted from the search and I was welcomed by 2 sweet ladies that helped us find all we needed. I couldn’t believe my ears when they said “we will deliver today” ! I purchased my washer and my dryer at Hastings Electric in Chillicothe. Best customer service and best deals around. I shopped around, but no other local business could beat Hastings prices, their fast delivery, or the warranties they provide on many of their appliances.

Gave me an honest estimate and told me what it sounded like it would cost based on my description of the problem. They did this despite the fact that it would be cheaper to buy a new refrigerator, thus losing potential business. Honest and polite. Recommend whole heartedly. Hard to find people like this anymore.

I love Hastings Electric! I have been buying appliances there for many years and they always have great stuff.

So our washer went out. We were aware of Hastings but were worried that prices might be higher than a national chain despite a good experience buying a range there 10 years ago that we still have.Went to Lowes first. Prices were Meh despite advertising a Memorial day sale, good selection. Younger sales associate. No true knowledge of product. Asked about delivery. 8 days. Neither me or my wife were free that day. 12 days till a good day.Went to Menards. Poor selection. Still Meh prices. Signs said possible same day delivery if in stock and you could go to the website to see stock. Since the only associate in the entire department was helping other people we pulled up the confusing site and eventually found how to see what was in stock. Nothing we wanted. Left without buying or talking to anyone.So went to Hastings. Greeted immediately by a knowledgeable worker who was able to talk intelligently about products. Educated us on a couple of things we wouldnt have known to look for. Okay selection, not as good as Lowes but better than Menards. Asked about delivery. They use a local moving company. They called and they could do it the next day. Perfect. Picked out a washer (an online search later showed it no cheaper anywhere else). Right before we checked out delivery guys called to ask if they could just do it today.... Um, yeah. So within three hours our new washer was in use.So yeah. This was my experience. And we werent real bad on Our delivery openings. We were free solid till next Tuesday. Now that Sears and HH Gregg are gone this will be our place for appliances.
