Prices are great but the employees were all consumed with their phones to even look up to see if we needed help.

Well my experience is like all the others no customer service was never greeted or helped and it felt like were bothering them. The pces were great I saved a lot of .oney on the c1ouch and decided to ge t a kitchen table and chairs with the money I saved it seemed to co.e all together in the ti.e frame I was quoted but when I got there I was told I would have to wait 2onths to receive the chairs that were sold with the table. Why would. Ompany not send the chairs at the same time. I live 2 hrs away and would of never exc see pyed the table if I k ew the c chairs werent with information another w months.oh there is more so I rent a uhaul Togo get the furniture and the b kidding the warehouse said that the couchwoudt fit I said could you measure it ease they just moped around and insisted it wouldnt fit.After measuring it there was plenty of room and them two k uckle heads were going to make me drive 2 more round trips 2 hrs away at the end of the day Im happy with the furniturebut the customer service is horrible!

Weve only shopped for furniture here. They have a wide selection and carry Ashley furniture at better prices. We wouldve continued buying furniture there however theyve worn out our patience and its not worth the discount. Weve ordered several furniture pieces over the last couple of years and enjoy the Ashley options. Weve also had to reorder pieces several times due to damages to the point where the piece isnt functional or the finish is scratched. Weve been told that they dont receive damage product on purpose just because of the discounted prices and that it was all truly accidental during delivery from the warehouse or manufacturing. We had refunds, credits, and had to bring back damages several times. We got to the point of needing to check the product before paying and leaving. Our last item to complete our bedroom set was scratched again. When I went to pick it up the two employees in the back told me that all of them come scratched and just walked away. I was so frustrated that I just brought it home. Weve been trying to get this taken care of for over a year and if items continue to come scratched and damaged this was the best it could be. The more we thought about everything weve bought there and the little things that seem off, weve wondered if they truly do get discount furniture that is slightly damaged but dont advertise it. Or if they think they do get regular quality then maybe they really dont get the good pieces from Ashley. Either way, were done paying the cost for damaged furniture and all the frustration. If you decide to buy and have similar expectations, we highly suggest inspecting it.

Stopped here to look at furniture after looking on the net at what they had. Never new there prices were so good. Found a diamond in the rough. Beyond excellent customer service. The owner himself was very helpful and not pushy. Will be back!

It turns out, this place is incredible ! We stopped in to check out what they had because we had never been there before. They have clothing (name brand), furniture, small appliances, beds, canned food and lots more. We were also told the inventory changes regularly so we will have to stop back again. For just stopping in to look around, we ended up spending $50 and got two button up shirts, two pairs of pants and eight pair of socks. What a deal !! We will be back to see what they have next time.

Furniture section is neat and organized. The outlet section is messy and Unorganized. Prices are a bargain on a few items the rest are okay

Very poor customer service. Went in to buy a washing machine from them. Walked around the appliances for over 30 minutes. Went over to the main store to get assistance. The staff there was too busy chatting with each other to be bothered by a customer with questions. Called in to talk to a manager on duty after I left. The lady I talked to said she guesses she would be the manager on duty tonight. Proceeds to tell me that theyll send someone over if need someone in the appliance store but its usually unmanned at night because of staff shortages. Highly disappointed with the lack of customer service. If you dont have the staff to help customers wouldnt it make more sense to modify the hours or hire someone?

Great place to find a bargain if you look closely but be careful, most of the stuff is returns and may be missing pieces or be damage. They do however offer a 7 day return policy so that helps. Plus they mark most of their products at or even above retail (noticed this way to often) so youll have to wait till its marked down to get a steal (I believe they do this only every few months) but bargains can be had. Today I bought a Members Mark 35 grill for $23.00!

Buyer Beware!!Our experience with this store started out well. We purchased a couch here and it came in about a week. The price was reasonable and we were excited to enjoy our new couch. That is when things took a turn, after sitting on this couch for about an hour with my bare wrists and forearms touching the fabric I began to feel itchy. I soon developed hives everywhere my bare skin touched the couch. We called the store and they said we had 72hours in which we could return the couch. Of course we brought it back right away this morning. We did not however receive a full refund, they impose a 15% fee for returns even though we had the couch less than 24hrs and it had caused an allergic reaction. We will not be shopping here again as I do not trust their products, remember you get what you pay for!*** No effort was made by anyone at this store to make this right. I understand under normal circumstances such as just changing my mind on this couch the 15% fee would be charged. I did not anticipate the furniture to cause an allergic reaction. They did not even offer an exchange of product. Other furniture stores in this area absolutely do have return policies and customer service that are 100 times better than the treatment you will receive here. Saving a little money is not worth it!

About four months ago, my friend and I went to Bargain City Superstore. We looked at various sofas and chairs. Not once was our presence acknowledged. We decided to take our business elsewhere. Today, I thought I would give them another chance. I was in the store approximately 20 minutes. I did find a chair I liked, however again I was not acknowledged. Even though the price was good, I decided to go to the Ashley HomeStore and check out their inventory. Upon entering, I was greeted by a young man named Kyle. He was friendly and helpful. They had the same chair as Bargain City and matched the price. I will be recommending to all who will listen to take their business to the Ashley HomeStore.

Fun good deals lots of different things from clothing to furniture

BUYER BEWARE! (Long review but worth your time!)We ordered a couch and loveseat from Bargain City on 10/13/20 and were told it would arrive in 6 weeks. When that date arrived we called and were told it would arrive sometime in January. In January we were told it would arrive March 15th. The week after this I was told that the loveseat had arrived in December and they had tried to call us but didn’t wait for the voicemail so they didn’t leave a message. They never bothered to call us again. The final straw was when were told it would arrive March 19th so we sold the sectional we had and you guessed it, no furniture! Two days later my hubby called and raised havoc with the assistant manager and said he wanted to speak to the owner. The owner didn’t call back but the assistant manager said we would get free delivery because it had been over 5 months since we ordered the furniture. When we said we wanted the loveseat delivered because we had no furniture to sit on, my hubby was told they would only deliver one piece for free so he had to pick up the love seat himself. When the sofa finally arrived on March 26th, we set up delivery and when it was delivered their delivery person didn’t bother to listen to my husband who had told him to come to the front door (he went to the back alley and started unloading the sofa). Hubby went out and told him to bring it to the front door like he had told him and the delivery man took it as far as the bottom of the front steps and said that was as far as he went. Hubby said will it be $10 to deliver it inside and the guy said no, it would be much more than that. I had talked to the jerk the week before and he told me $10 to bring it inside the door to the room it was going in. NEVER again will we order from this company – NO CUSTOMER SERVICE (as others have said), we had to call at least 10 times to find out when the furniture would arrive, could have had one of the pieces 3 months ago, no offer of a refund and now I will have to call Ashley because none of the recliners will close without getting off the sofa/loveseat and getting on the floor to close them!

When they give you an estimated delivery date add at least four months to cover for their lies. Never again will I use this store. No communication and when you call what they tell you is not true.

We really enjoy this store. It is fun to look around and see what you can find. My husband finds a lot of great work clothes for himself. We have purchased 4 mattresses from there and a couch for cheaper than what the manufacturer was charging in their stores. You should really check it out.

I like the fact that we actually have a store left in Chippewa that sells clothing. The prices arent that low but tolerable.Ive worked in Retail long enough to know that these items arent NEW, especially when you see crumbs in a toaster that appears to be new, etc. These items are returns and then cannot be sold in a regular department store so they end up here.There is no organization in the miscellaneous side of the store, its a mess. Not enough employees to help people with questions, man the till and many times I see people waiting and no one is at the till.All in all Im happy we still have a store we can find items if we hunt for them long enough.

Honestly Im not sure how many of these reviews I actually believed were written by normal people and not paid for or written by the owners I went in to look around today and found most of the prices on things to either be too high or about where I what expect them to be in a normal store. appliance wise the only one refrigerator I can find that was all together and one piece nothing missing and claim to work was well over $1,000 the rest that were cheaper had things missing or were dented and scratched horribly.. most of the clothing selection was pretty bear and priced about what I expect for a normal store nothing really bargain about it they didnt have an Invicta watch on sale which sparked my interest for 50 some dollars... But upon further inspection it turned out to be a fakethe only deal I found here that in my mind was actually worth it with some of the sink fixtures and possibly the exercise equipment but even then exercise equipment seem to be slightly overpriced assuming that its all in one piece and works. I think this place is kind of hit and miss I did see a remote control snowmobile that I thought was kind of cool that I thought about getting for my nephew it was for $60 I later went and looked at Walmart in from the exact same one for 15

Great place for name brand but it is hit or miss kind of shop. Its a bargain store, its in the name, so I would have liked to see prices reflect that a little more. I give them a 4 star, as I havent left feeling like I got a bargain more of a well thats an ok price. type of store. People are very friendly and inventory is always changing.

Gave us wrong color of couch and their tables were in we ordered a couch loveseat rug two end tables and a coffee table atmosphere was nice service was good eager to help

Welllllll, although they have a decent selection of a variety of items... there was nothing bargain priced as far as furniture was concerned... the rest may have been slightly cheaper but not enough so that I was willing to stand waiting for someone to come and check us out at the register..... needless to say we left the items at the till after (5 minutes) and walked out.

First time visiting the chippewa location, and found some great deals.

Purchased a washer/dryer about a week ago, and upon installing it I found out the hoses had no gaskets, and then the dryer made a loud banging noise once I turned it on after install... I got ahold of them and they set me up with a guy to come pick it up and drop off a different one. Guy dropped off new machine and after installing it I realized that the timer on dryer wouldn’t shut the machine off. Called them again and they said bring it back again and try a third time or call the manufacturer for help. Mind you the location of my washer/dryer is in a very tight space that takes about an hour to remove each time, and is in a rental house so I have to work around their schedule too. Anyways, I got ahold of the manufacturer and it appears they’re booked out for 2 weeks- as far as fixing it, who knows how long it would take on top of that depending on what is broken. In the end it looks like I’ll probably just get my old washer fixed and be done with this fiasco. This all could of been avoided if the appliances had simply been tested before being sold (which they claim is what they’re going to start doing).
