This is the best ice cream I have found period. We have been to 14 states on the motorcycle. We have tried hundreds of ice cream places. This is the creamier one. We have rode all over wisconsin trying competition as well.

They have so many delicious flavors to choose from, served with a smile. Cookie Monster, raspberry cheesecake, mocha mud, raspberry sorbet (dairy free), and candy bar deluxe - these were the flavors our family ate and almost everyone thought their own was the best flavor.

Yesterday was my first time at this fantastic ice cream shop. I drew caricatures of ice cream eaters and enjoyed licorice cone that was the best tasting licorice ice cream I have found in my grown up life. Best ice cream in town! There are so many varieties to choose from, and they always have new flavors. This is the only place we go. Plus my peanut allergy kid will eat here. They seperate the nut ice cream from all others in a different cooler. She has never had any issues eating here.

Was in town for a few days and decided to give this place a try . The regular chocolate was really good plus the ladys behind the counter were friendly. Will sure be back my next trip to Chippewa Falls

Ive been going to Olsons for more than 40 years. It is not only the best ice cream in Chippewa County, but its probably the best ice cream in the state of Wisconsin. My go to flavor is Cherry Garden, but try them all. You wont be disappointed.

I was bored so I decided to go somewhere new for ice cream and I was amazed when I stepped inside, small but the right size and very pleasant and were fast and friendly, would definitely recommend the place to for a treat!!

A fun, bright, friendly place, just like an ice cream shop should be! The cream is tasty and the portion sizes are typical. This is a great local spot to get a cold treat, and there is a fair amount of seating available.

Olsons is always great! I love that I can share this place with my kids. I grew up with going with my parents and I love that it is still similar to when I went as a child! Great memories!

BEST ICE CREAM EVER. Both locations I go to in chippewa and the new one in Eau Claire are great. Talk about an old school ice cream experience, this is it.Have to give a shout out to the new one in EC, it is spot on with space, layout, decoration and staff. Clean, comfortable and a really neat place to go enjoy some delicious ice cream.

Olsons Ice Cream was on my bucket list when I moved here. I heard the ice cream was delicious and this was a must try. I finally went and I completely agree with what I had been told and read! When we got there, there was a line. We sampled a few different flavors and chose what we wanted. A friendly customer told me I had to try thr black licorice, which I didnt even realize was a current flavor choice. Im so glad she said something because that was one of the best ice cream flavors Ive ever had! If you love black licorice you should really get that, and if you dont love black licorice you should still try it.. it was that good! We look forward to going back!

Have a variety of flavors to choose from which is awesome! Some of the flavors even have descriptions so you know what ingredients are in them. Very generous scoops and very reasonable prices. Their cones and malts are really good! Would recommend! The employees were all wearing masks and there were social distancing signs on the floor which was great to see!!

Hello, everyone I just wanted to update my review because the owners reached out and acknowledged my experience was less than great and provided me with a gift card for the amount I spent. Haven’t made it back out there, but I’m sure it will be great.This was hugely disappointing. They advertise waffles on the sign out front and with posters inside. No price is listed. When we ordered and asked the price we were told they were 9.50. It’s a waffle, with a scoop of ice cream, a topping a whipped cream. Still ordered it, but nothing was what we ordered. I ordered a cookies and cream waffle which was pictured with a chocolate waffle, came with a regular waffle. My wife ordered a pecan waffle, pictured with pecans, but came with none. My kid ordered the waffle pictured in the front sign, and was told they didn’t have it. I didn’t complain bc it was staffed by teenagers who seemed inconvenienced by our presence and questions. I guess if was charging 9.50 for what they are selling, I wouldn’t list the price either.The ice cream was ok.

The best ice cream in the valley.

For our wedding, we decided we wanted ice cream instead of cake. Having grown up in Chippewa, my first thought was Olsons! We reached out and Jeremy (manager/co-owner) was so helpful letting us know our options and letting us sample as many flavors as we wanted! Our event was too far away to have scoopers on site but we were able to order 140 prepackaged 10 oz containers in a variety of flavors. Jeremy gave us tips for transporting the ice cream and where to find dry ice. We were so happy with how everything turned out! Olsons (and Jeremy in particular) made it so easy and we would definitely recommend using Olsons for your large catering needs! Thanks so much!

My family loves having lunch at Olsons! Excellent BLT, chicken and rice soup. Fresh hamburgers, wonderful ice cream! Small town business with excellent comfort food!

The ice cream speaks for itself and it is no wonder why it is highly spoken of locally. If you happen to be in the Chippewa Falls area on a summer or fall day, a quick stop into the ice cream parlor will add flavor to your day! Id definitely give a big shout out for the Mackinac Island Fudge!

Ice cream was good but definitely not the best in the world. There was a long line which we expected, but there wasnt a menu that was visible from the line. We had to pull up the menu on our phones to see what our options were before getting to the counter. Staff were friendly and cost was appropriate. I think Id rather stick to the ice cream shop down the road, as their ice cream is somewhat better in my opinion.

Olsons Ice Cream was delicious. The man who served us claimed it was the best in the world. I cant say it was the best but it was delicious. The staff was friendly, the variety was good, and the store was clean. If we lived closer wed definitely be back. Oh and I was super excited to see that they offered t-shirts in plus sizes!

Olsons is the best! The ice cream is beyond and worth standing in line for (black licorice is my absolute favorite). The staff is efficient and friendly. The food is fresh and tasty - good variety. If you go - youll be back!

What a delightful ice cream place! The ice cream is absolutely delicious ... made with real ingredients & the best creams. There are colorful, clean booths to sit in & as you devour your selection, there are hand made items to purchase if something should catch your eye. I purchased a hand crocheted facial scrubber for $4.00 that beats any facial electronic gizmo on the market. For delicious ice cream, sherbet & other gifts for yourself or someone else, stop at Olsons ... youll be glad you did.

This CV is a relatively small ice cream shop with one customer entrance, so with social distancing still recommended, made movement a little difficult. But the ice cream was definitely worth it.

Awesome ice cream, locally owned and operated. Cant wait until they open in downtown Eau Claire so I do not have to drive as far and can enjoy them more often. Prices are reasonable with the portion sizes are plentiful. The staff is great and you can a get sample before you order.

I love eating here. Their salads are amazing along with their bread bowl soups! I highly recommend someone needing a quick lunch to stop here. Also they have amazing ice cream sandwiches that are homemade! If you havent stopped it is worth making the trip!

My family visited Olsons after a dinner night out in March. We heard of the reputation, and had to stop in. The Ice Cream is FANTASTIC! A life-long Wisconsin resident with discerning taste, Ive had excellent ice cream before to be sure. Olsons is among the best. Pricey, but worth it as a special treat.We cant wait to return!
