I brought Amazon kindle online and choose options to pick up from the store.Miss”Mads” was extremely courteous and helpful. It’s your typical Best Buy. Nothing to complain about. I’ve picked up probably hundreds of items here and returned quite a few as well. The process is always pretty smooth.The only reason they’re not 5-star is that their selection seems limited in comparison to other Best Buy’s.
Bought some electronics for my union and was very impressed with the help I received.
Best Buy has always been one of my absolute favorite stores to shop at. It was like an adult Toys R Us for me. However, my last trip left me feeling like Best Buy didn’t like the things I did. I was looking for a economical “college” fridge but our my recreation room but their selection was either super mini fridge or supersized. So I went to check out the cameras for my home sec system. Google and Amazon has loads of options, Apple I think had one. I somehow ended up looking at the new Macs and tablets but both I was curious about, they’d have to order. So I took that news and my leave. Certainly doesn’t feel the way it used to when I walked out of there, but maybe that’s just me growing up.

Love bestbuy although you can sometimes get cheaper prices from the source. I love how they give student deals and have a little of everything. I enjoy this store.
I understand that covid has caused a lack of staff, but that didnt seem to be the case. There were 3 associates standing by the front exit joking around with one another and seemingly ignoring anyone not in the best buy uniform. I walked around the majority of the store and only saw an associate for the phones, and the geek squad team, whom I asked for assistance. They then radioed that I needed assistance and 5 minutes later one of the crew by the exit made their way to me and said need something? The customer service here has really gone down hill.
Super help and nice staff. Bought a product that I realized was defective later, tried to return it on the Monday after the free return window expired on Sunday. They took the product back no problem and a replacement showed up at my doorstep less than 48 hours later.
Called to see if they had a particular item in stock. Was told I could check their site but they couldnt give me stock updates on the phone. Drove 45 minutes and spent $5 in gas to see they never had the item in stock to begin with and was told Roanoke might have it. Can you call or check? No... Youll just need to drive there.Three people standing there doing nothing and they couldnt even be bothered to do a simple inventory look up? If I wanted that level of service Id just order on Amazon. Guess thats where I made MY mistake. BTW.... Just bought a brand new house and need TVs for every room in the house. Guess where I wont be going to buy them?

Bought a dishwasher online and had it delivered 2021-03-02. Im over an hour away from the store, but the guys delivered it on-time and perfectly. Very quick operation, and they were safe and wore masks. Communication in advance of the delivery was excellent. Very impressed!
I went in to purchase a Sony X90J and Aaron was absolutely very professional to work with. Great personality, very knowledgeable personable, and helpful. I ended up buying an entertainment center, soundbar, and the TV. He answered all my questions and gave me more info then what my brain could process. We had a good time and I will definitely return to the christiansburg location. Drove an extra hour to this location instead of the Bristol Tennessee location. Aaron deserves a promotion and pay raise. Customer service doesnt get any better. 10/10 and very pleased with my purchase

If you like high end things and can afford to pay more than Wal-Mart prices. This is the place for you. They have electronics to appliances, cell phones to security systems, laptops to car audio. And lets not forget the Geek Squad to answer or fix your problems with things they sell.
JUST OPENED A TV THAT IS MISSING THE CORD AND STAND AND PRETTY SURE IT’S A RETURN OF A DIFFERENT TV. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN.ON TOP OF IT ALL, they put in the system like it was a return and Best Buy customer service couldn’t help me but they did say I need to go directly to a manager and that someone should likely answer for this.Or I’ll file fraud with the bank and make a police report. Because this is crazy. How could this happen at Best Buy.

Unfortunately one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had.Went in to buy a Big screen TV and spend alot of my hard earned money and left never wanting to step foot in that store again.Management really needs to train there employees better.
I worked with Shea at the Christiansburg Best Buy, and he was magnificent. Very informed young man and willing to help. For his efforts and for the information he provided, I would give him five stars; however, in terms of the larger organization processing my order and ensuring that I could pick up the order within about one hour, this Best Buy didnt quite get it right. An hour and a half later I was still asking where my new TV was located. Ultimately, Shea stepped into a role that he was probably not assigned to ensure that I had a positive experience overall. Shae and another young man actually ended up loading the TV into my vehicle. This was supposed to happen at a different level of the organization. Granted, I bought this TV on Black Friday when everything was busy and upside down at Best Buy. Kudos to Shae for being a fantastic information source and for ensuring that my transaction was successful and complete.
I had purchased a TV from Best Buy at a different location when I got it home it was damaged. I talked with costumer service who was very helpful in helping my buy a new TV and getting me set up to return the broken one. When I came to this location to pick up my new TV and return the broken one I was treated poorly, given no reason as to why the would not “accept the return” of the broken TV and the manager just looked at me and said, “yeah, I’m not accepting that return”. Everyone was very crude and disrespectful to me and unwilling to explain anything. I am now stuck with a broken 75” $1000 TV, and still have chargers for a second TV on my card. I could understand concerns or problems however no one would take two second to explain anything to me, and was dismissive to my issues!I am very unhappy with this experience, I’m unsure what’s is worse, being stuck with a broken TV or being treated like trash in the store.
I really like how they are managing customers during covid. You do need to wear a mask inside. I had to exchange an item today and it was so easy.
This store will bait and switch you so beware. I located a apple watch 6 gps advertised with best buy for 399.99 I drove for a hour to get to the store once there I was ignored to the point of having to stand in front of 2 employees who were not helping anyone just to get there attention I told him I wanted the watch and he informed me the watch was 430.99 I checked the price plaque mounted to the table next to the watch clearly priced at 399.99 so I questioned the employee who could not explain why it was wrong he only said he could not do anything about it I then asked the manager to check it and he came back and would not even acknowledge me standing beside him. Buyer beware

Staff are not very helpful… their customer service is getting worsting and worsting. Management Should do something otherwise they will lose lot customers and eventually need close that store like their others stores in country.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! Tilly and Megan at Best Buy helped me for 2 hours trying to talk to AT&T customer service due to an error AT&T created!! Tilly said she has only been working there for 3 weeks but her professionalism proved as if she had been working there much longer. They were extremely patient and kind with us through the entire process!
The Customer service is lacking and calling them to ask a question is pointless. I called again as I was walking in, there were about five people in the store and 4 people standing at “GEEK SQUAD” and I walked up to set up an appointment for a cell phone repair. I was told 2-4 days to get a new phone due to mine being broke. Five days go by with me contacting them with no luck. I paid the fees and still nothing. You’re better off handling directly with your brand of cellphone company. The only good about it was “Jake from Best Buy” he was helpful.
The customer service is lacking to say the least. Geek squad called me to tell me to call Best Buy to confirm a repair, so I did, and NOBODY answered the phone. I was on the call for a half hour and nothing happened. If you’re looking to call Best Buy, just save yourself the time and go in person because they obviously don’t care enough to pick up the phone.

TINY, seriously TINY store, more like a big kiosk with little stock EVER available in store. Go to Roanoke for a much much better shopping experience with actual helpful associates in the store too! Dont trust their website to ever show accurate stock counts either. Its always wrong and its a 99% guarantee the item you seek will not be in this store.

Need no star at all!!! Walked into the store to spend well over $3000.00 for appliances and other things... and was addressed in a very rude, gorilla type manner, very shameful manner because we didnt have a mask on. We didnt cause a problem at all, explained we, my husband and I, had health issues and could not wear a mask. Told us we werent allowed in the store. Was told they were calling the cops, my husband walked back out to our vehicle, I turned to ask a question about the sign that displayed on the side of the building, small children and those with hath issues are welcome to come in and I was verbally attacked again, and the person grabbed the phone and I assume called the police, we were still sitting in our own vehicle and cops came, gave us a trespassing paper. You do not treat customers like this! Its only for a year, but I dont think they will ever get any of our business anymore, or my families! If you are going to display a sign like that you need to adhere to it and not discriminate because of a disability!

As a consumer advocate with a MS degree in Consumer Sciences, I was very taken aback with the service my husband and I received over a recent television purchase. After speaking with several managers, we got nowhere with a solution. I called the Corporate Best Buy office and they quickly took care of the issue. If you have an issue at the local level, be sure to reach out to corporate. We ended up purchasing a new television elsewhere and had a much better experience.

Do not bother with their products. I bought a computer for $1000 and added a $200 warranty. A few months later a mouse that came with the product broke, and I was informed that my 2 year warranty only covers a single issue, break, or any problem they fix. Including I would be required to bring the entire unit, mouse, Desktop tower, and keyboard to get it even handled. I bought expensive 2 year plan so that I could feel my computer was safe and would be taken care of in an emergency. If I wanted a cheap 1 time plan I would have bought from Walmart and gotten the plan for less than $20. Now I will be shopping elsewhere from now on for electronics. Including buying a new mouse.
Good variety on all electronics. But highly overpriced. Staff is pretty awful at times, every time I’ve been at this location I’ve had no luck with their service. Will not step foot in their locations ever again. I will gladly spend my hard earned money elsewhere.
Literally just now spent over $700 here for a HP Desktop all in one computer for my small business. I never received any help from any staff and everyone was very rude. The people who work here should be ashamed of themselves. By judging the previous reviews here, the owner doesnt care about what people think. The owners should as well be ashamed!
Had to go to customer service to see if a printer was available. Hardly no one to help. Printers on display, but no backup inventory. Would have to wait two days. Found one at Wal-Mart, with plenty of backup on the shelves!

Nasty employees who are rude. Hypocritical when it comes to the mask. Employees and some customers can wear a mask however they want, but others cannot even if they have breathing issues and even told the employee this. Masks for some cause headaches which is due to Hypoxia and I am one of them. If I wanted to buy it online sight unseen, I would have done that. Will not buy anything ever again from BestBuy. Contemplating on returning what I have bought.

I have a refrigerator that was delivered upside down and upon opening the box, the top corner of the unit is smashed. I am trying to get a replacement item. I have tried calling the store many times, and each time I call, I wait over 10 min for someone to answer the phone, but nobody ever answers. So now Im out several hundred dollars, a damaged unit, and unable to get in touch with anyone. So frustrating.
They force an adult to wear a wothless mask.....boy do I wish they had competition in this area.....because i would never go back. That is just one of many things
Needed some banana plugs for some speaker wire. BestBuy Roanoke didnt have in stock so I drove to Christiansburg and picked up what I needed. Fast service and polite staff. Ended up snagging 3 vinyls while I was there.

The staff is very rude and makes up covid rules on the spot that contradict whats posted at the front of the store and on the website. Buying my TV elsewhere and will not return, even after covid is over. The staffs behavior was unacceptable.

Bought a new iPad and keyboard and they was having a sale on the iPhone 📱 11 so I had to get one of those too. The employees there know their stuff very polite and professional. They were able to tell me how to operate those electronics and I will definitely be back for some items for my home. Great job!!!

Do not fall for their tricks. They recommended me to buy my phone online and when I did it the website didnt show the real price that would be charged. They didnt give me a contract when I pick up my purchase.When I finished the buying process I took a print screen just in case and thank God for that. The website showed that I would pay 40 a month for the phone plan + 15 for the new cellphone + 40 for the activation. When I activated the phone I checked the future bills and it was charging me 166 dollars. Liars and scammers.I when to the store 2 days after the pick up to return the phone and people treated me like if I was their enemy or something. Their accepted the phone back but the took 55 dollars from me. Even though they were the dishonest part.I will never buy anything at Best buy again. They should change their name to Worse buy.The workers their have no information about anything they are selling. No wonder why they have a huge turnover with their employees.

I was told on the phone that they price match, make sure you read the fine print because they won’t tell you that you have to make sure that Local locations have the product in stock. I drove 60 miles to get the product after calling at 1630 the previous day to be told 16 hours later they didn’t have the product and they can’t price match... staff can’t even look for product for you, YOU have to look up a sku number online to see if they have it in stock. I was a former Best Buy fan, but this is now going down. Very disappointed with the staff lead working at the store!
The entry and politeness was good and professional, however I went there to buy either a Moto G Power or the Fast. I simply requested to view the specifications of the device and the eledged professional there to assist me said the price was the only thing she could tell me, I asked if I could look at the device only one they had on display was the Power version I simply requested the following CPU, RAM, and storage she did attempt to pull it up on the bestbuy website with her phone, then informed me she couldnt. So I asked if there is a computer at least so I can compare for myself. She pointed me over to the computers saying we have them over in that section for sale the only thing she was able to accomplish for me was at the cash register she was completely useless. Point is research before you go to bestbuy if buying a phone apparently they dont even know what there selling

This BestBuy has AMAZING service, I had ordered something online to be picked up. Came on the pick-up day not checking to see if it was ready to find out it wasn’t. They rushed around for about 20 mins and got it ready for me. They always go the extra mile!

Customer service at the Christiansburg, VA, store is significantly lacking. The responses received by the alleged blue shirt experts regarding cell phone reception are ludicrous, ridiculous, and undeserving of even a sarcastic reply. If youre looking for any type of phone (esp unlocked, though), go elsewhere. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Furthermore, the management staff will take advantage of older, non-technically inclined people. Shame on you, Best Buy! This was the first and the last unlocked phone I buy for anyone, regardless of age, but particularly an older person, at Best Buy.
I have called 3 times been on hold never speaking to one human today. Need to pickup an order purchased and can not reach anyone. 3 times totaling 20 mins each a total of 60 minutes!!!!! No one works there? Or customers aren’t very important.
We went in looking for some good wireless ear buds and we werent in the store ten min. I told the guy what i was looking for and I didnt want to go over 100$ I decided on the JBL Endurance Peak. I Love them. They sound GREAT! Exactly what I was looking for. 😊❤ They had a man standing at the front door. He looked to be Security and he acted as such. He didnt smile. And he did get the young man to come help me. He wasnt rude. But He needs to smile. If thats the face you are greeted with when you walk in the door then he should at least be friendly and make you feel welcome. Not like you are Automatically being watched. Like theirs no trust with the customer and youre business is not needed. It was just the way his body language was and the energy he put forth. He did thank us when we were leaving after the young man that helped us told him our purchase was paid for and my receipt was sent via email. If he is Security then their should be someone at the front with him to make you feel welcome. The young man that helped us was Super nice and did a good job explaining the product to us. And everything he said was true and helpful. So he was definitely educated on them. Maybe he has some of his own. 😉 Other than the guy at the front( and its not that he was rude he was just stern) we Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thank you Best Buy!
Seth prevented me from losing $1,000 today!!! I got a scam message from my boss and was told to purchase STEAM gift cards for our clients. I completely fell for it. It was Seth kept telling me not to do it. He insisted that I should not buy them. I finally realized that was a scam. Thank you again Seth, great job saving my bank account. Customers in the same situation like me, please please please listen to Seth! He is right!
