Bridge Kaldro is the best in the area. Wouldnt go anywhere else for my musical needs. Ive bought two guitars, a cajon, a keyboard, and innumerable accessories, replacements, pedals etc. Every time the staff was knowledgeable about exactly what I needed.
Bridge Kaldro is the best music store Ive ever been to! Staff is incredibly friendly and inviting, and as a musician... You have to go to a music store frequently, they will get to know you and your instruments. I have brought 7 guitars to them for repair thus far. Jim and Frank have made each of them outstanding and Frank was even able to fix a guitar I built poorly and required a lot of work. Staff is knowledgeable and will help you with anything. Highly recommend to any and all musicians

One of my favorite music stores. Good selection, great service, little bit of exercise getting up to it (Im a fat guy, need to get it where I can), layaway program, and a location thats not problematic to get to from Roanoke. Its why I keep coming back. You havent seen the last of me here.

My experience is always speak with the owner and he will treat you right! Not a very wide selection of electric guitars but what he does have is quality and some really great deals if you look around. I have been going there since they opened.

A super guitar-centric music store (not that thats a surprise at all) with a wall of percussion stuff, some keyboards, accessories for wind/string insts, and some electronics. Its comforting to know if I need a certain accessory inst or stick/beater fast, I can (usually) come here.
Although their guitar strings are not so strong as super shoes shoe strings, their guitar strings got me a date.
Support your local music store. They are great group of people. They are always friendly and helpful whenever I go there.

Love this store. And the owners aswell. I walked in on a budget and trying to get a new piano. I told them what the budget was and ended up leaving with something that not only suits me. But is also able to be moved with me do to my working situations. I would highly recomend for all ages
The people who work here--especially Ed--are awesome, helpful, friendly, humorous, straightforward and trustworthy. They never act like it is a bother when you ask for advice or need help, even if they dont make a huge profit. When I do get ready to spend some money (like when my daughter is ready for an adult-size violin) I will go to Bridge Kaldro Music. They have earned my business!

Went into today looking to just get my hands on some electrics I have been eye balling online. Friendly and very helpful staff. Offered to let me play some of the items I was looking at. Answered all my questions and provided great feedback on something’s I was on the fence about. Will definitely being going to support local business when I make my purchase rather than buying online.
I first came here to buy a band instrument for my son when he entered Middle School. They were super kind in helping him choose what he wanted to play. And the prices are most reasonable. I went back when my younger son wanted drum lessons. Ryan is patient, kind and very talented in teaching young children. They have helped to instill a love for music in both of my kids and Im very grateful.
I went in to just look around and see what they had. They have a wide selection of instruments from wind to string, an excellent selection of accessories and the owner Ed was very helpful. Most of their guitars are the higher end selection with beautiful Martins, Fenders and a few others in the mix. Youll also find the lower priced guitars if you look hard enough.I ended up finding some guitar picks that I like to use that are actually really hard to come by. Ed also helped me figure out how I can keep playing guitar with my neuropathy simply by showing me a different way to hold the guitar. Something as simple as holding the Fmaj barre chord was a struggle and when I play the way Ed advised I have no issue holding it! Thanks Ed!Very happy that this gem of a store exists! Will definitely be going back for any of my music needs.

This is a good family run business. I bought a used Fender tele here for a great price and couldnt be more pleased. They are a fender and Martin dealer and have a great selection of really fine sounding instruments. And they have an amp repair guy, who I havent used yet, but it worth knowing that someone can do that.
Every time I have gone in it is always great conversation and not trying to push product. Always enjoy shopping the bridge
SCAM ARTIST!!! SCAM ATRIST!!!At the introduction of band equipment at the start of middle school, they said the equipment had a warrant to the day my child graduated high school. They also said not to buy on eBay.eBay had the exact same one for much less!!!Now at start of my childs senior year, it needs a tune-up and and worn out pads which is not covered!!!For the cost of repair plus $50 more, I could have bought a NEW ONE on eBay!!!Giving them one star is too much. They should get a negative 5⭐️ star!!Plus the REALLY NEED TO FIX THEIR PARKING LOT!!If you drive a small car it will bottom out or damage your bumper!!

I initially rated poorly due to lack of electric guitar selection, the owner stated there was more than I thought so Im reversing my negative review to give them the benefit of the doubt. Im not from the area and cant verify the accuracy of their statement, just know on first impression I felt the selection was limited to mostly fenders.

These people care about their customers. I bought a harmonica here, and being new to the harmonica I failed to test all 20 reeds. I got home, started playing and soon realized I had a bad reed on the 6 draw. Since the harmonica is something you have to put in your mouth to play, I assumed returning it would be difficult or impossible. I came back half-expecting to be told it was my fault for not testing it (which it was), but instead they took the bad harmonica to return to the manufacturer and gave me a new one (which I tested twice). If youre looking for a music store with knowledgeable staff that cares about you and will go out of their way to help you, this is it. I have purchased other products here before, and will continue to return.
