Came into Mr. Roberts shop to get a tailpipe fixed.He finished the job in front of me and had me drive my truck on to the lift. He worked on my tailpipe for about 30-45mins.He let the lift down and ask me to start it up and see if that didnt sound a lot quieter. I paid him for a job well done. I would highly recommend him as a good muffler and exhaust system mechanic. I have been going to him for exhaust repairs or replacements for at least 35 years. I never had to take work back to him that wasnt done correct.

Great service! Was quoted $2000 to replace my whole exhaust system from somewhere else because of leaks. Robert simply replace the parts necessary only cost me $340. Robert is pretty cool Guy! Highly recommend!

Robert muffler is a master in his field. He showed me the issue with my exhaust and fixed it. Price is reasonable and hes a honest gentleman.

He was very quick, work was done great. Fabricates his own pipes for a reasonable price. I got a dual straight pipe and the welds are nice and crips and sound is great. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing. Car failed an inspection because of an exhaust leak, was recommended Roberts Muffler. Came in and he immediately looked at the car and fixed it right there for a very reasonable price. The only catch is that he only accepts cash, so be sure to take some cash with you.

You dont find shops like this often these days unfortunately. I was a walk in and he had me in and out in about a half hour. This is a one man shop and only does exhaust. The cost was less then half what I had been quoted for parts alone at other places for OEM replacement.

Look closely- the six negative reviews were all made on the same day, no doubt by one person using multiple accounts. Dont believe them. Robert is very honest, fairly priced, and does solid work. I never hesitate to take my car to him for any muffler/exhaust work. The last time I took my car in there, he replaced my muffler for $80. He is a bit old school and only takes cash, but that is a small inconvenience for quality work done with integrity.What a shame that Amir Beganovic would try to ruin the livelihood of an honest, hard-working person because he was offended.

This place is a joke. I recommend you take your vehicle somewhere else. He told me a price over the phone, once I got there he charged me 3x more than what I was quoted. Once he finished and I got my car back, I noticed he didn’t fix anything at all

I have an older jeep that is more of a toy/project than anything. Two of the hangers were broken and the two exhaust pipes were cut from a previous project (replacing the motor). I didnt want to have a mainstream exhaust shop tell me that it needed a whole new exhaust system and charge me a fortune. I made an appointment at 11 and was out of there at 11:50. He fixed the hangers (required welding and a new clamp) and made two fittings to reconnect the exhaust (welded them on like I asked). He charged me $35 for each fitting and $10 to fix the hangers. He did a thorough job and the welds look great. Took him less than an hour and cost me $80 dollars in total. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get their exhaust repaired. What I liked the most was that I was able to talk to the man directly who was doing the work, not someone who works at the desk and then has to relay the message to the actual mechanic. It is a great small and honest shop.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Roberts after my old exhaust rusted off. I purchased a crappy used exhaust from a friend that didnt fit. I took it to Roberts based on the reviews I saw on google, and he set me up nicely and at a decent price. It was ever nice he did a great job

I had him fabricate and weld up a custom exhaust on my BMW and he did it as if he was doing work on his own car. I would recommend him to everyone needing basic repairs to custom work.

Have been here 2 x. Both times I was pleased with the work and price.

I went into Roberts thinking I was just going to get an estimate to install a catalytic converter. Afterwards, I expected to go home, order the converter, wait for it to arrive, and then set up an appointment to have it installed while being out $250-$300.However, when I went in for the estimate, he said he could install a new converter that day for $185 for parts and labor. Needless to say, I was stunned, and after about 15 minutes, I had a new catalytic converter on my vehicle despite the very rusted exhaust pipes.Note that this was a universal converter, not a direct fit converter. I imagine a direct fit converter would be much more expensive, but I was still very pleased with his work.

This place is a joke. Who in their right mind doing business would not try to up a sale? Went in to have my exhaust system replaced. Only fixed the exhaust system in the rear of my car. However, i needed a new exhaust system on the entire car which he said nothing about. Not sure if he is really just getting over on people that bad with his cash payments or just lazy and didnt want to do the work? Either way, i was happy to give my money to someone else. Plus after reading others comments on why he only takes cash payments without providing a receipt to cheat his way around a warranty...im so glad he did not try an up a sale on me.

Needed some exhaust work done on my 98 Maxima. Muffler and intermediate had rusted apart (car was noticeably louder) and just about all the hangers needed to be replaced. A previous diagnosis from another garage, who could get it up on a lift, was that I needed a new exhaust system.Roberts charged a touch over $100 to fit a new piece and weld the muffler back to the int. and re-hang everything, ensuring that the system as a whole was fine. This was done in under an hour and done extremely well. If youre in the area and need exhaust work, this is your guy. He will also recommend you to other shops around Cburg, as Blacksburg garages will typically charge more.

Larry Roberts did a nice job with my car. Yes he doesnt accept credit cards, and/or checks, but thats what most shops are doing these days because of all the bad checks. Hes got my business from now on. H

If u go there make sure to ask for printed reciept for warranty.i ask for reciept on 9/11/2013 so he write a date behind his visiting card and said this will work for warranty now on 08/04/2014 my muffler started rust and making noise he refuse to honor warranty and blaming me that I am trying to cheat him .he takes only cash payment because he can refuse warranty because you will not have any kind of proof of purchase. Plus he dont have to pay tax on his income. fisrt please avoid these shop if u can or if u go there make sure to get printed reciept with your cars model and make and color of your car and get in writing it is covered with one year warranty. Other wise he will blame you to try to cheat him.please please please avoid these place
